I was disappointed to hold hush on the web wallet, because now I have not been given a tutorial how to get btch, can someone help me with this problem?

I believe that there will be a tutorial on how to claim your BTCH, I will post it here when it is available. What is important now is to keep your HUSH private keys secure, don't share it with anyone. Yes and no, but see this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2008578.msg28357341#msg28357341technically it is minable, but it uses on-demand blocks (only mines when there are tx in mempool) as it uses dPoW for chain security.
since the mining isnt used for chain security, the block reward is set at a token 0.0001 BTCH

Why you want BTCH: Besides getting the airdrop, BTCH is a KMD Asset Chain and will be able to take advantage of the KMD ecosystem (tech like dPOW and dICO). BTCH miners only confirm block, and get a small BTCH block reward. There is no "new money" coming out. The names involved in the creation of BTCH, jl777 (KMD) & Duke Leto (HUSH), are very well-respected in the community.
Why you want HUSH: HUSH & KMD are profitable to mine, (with webmining on the horizon) but not BTCH since it's entire supply will essentially be in circulation. HUSH has low circulating supply (still lots to mine!) and will have on-chain public HushLists before any other coin. Also, HushNG is about to be released. The straight answer is NO. |

You must HODL your private key (not on an exchange!) in a transparent address. Since only HUSH has shielded addresses in this airdrop, HUSH HODLers with value inside of shielded zaddrs must choose to migrate it to taddrs before the snapshot date or simply enjoy their freedom via the zkSNARKs that protect their address balances.
A block height closest to (but not later than) 12pm NOON UTC on Feb 1st 2018 Only the snapshot took place today. Will everything be done and launch at the above time?
No, the full network is expected to launch some time in February, since there needs to be time to decide on a final value for each taddr, and then make many many transactions on the BTCH chain to fill the appropriate taddrs with value on the BTCH chain. You will need to wait for the launch to import your private key to claim your BTCH, you may use the Agama app: https://komodoplatform.com/en/downloadsThere is no timeline, other than some time in February. HushNG was supposed to launch at this time as it supports both Hush and BTCH, but due to the recent ‘activities’ between core members, there is no reported status on this development. Stick with Agama until more is known to claim your BTCH later this month. |

What could that be based on? The fact that it takes some time for the transaction? cmon. This looks quite nice. HUSH still needs HushNG to recuperate and to go places... BTCH is only there to sustain the development and to be experimental in nature to improve HUSH. Source github? I am going to leave my opinion here.
I have been with HUSH since the beginning, hardly contributed, but its potential was noticeable. I have seen people come and I have seen people go. I become more invested when radix42 signed up as the lead developer, but I also mostly withdraw when he moved on. Nonetheless, I was happy to see where the remaining core developers could take HUSH, BTCH were certainly a surprise announcement with many unanswered questions which I expected to be answered once we have succeeded the snapshot.
So here we are today… a HUSH team with only web developers and no certainty on how things will pan out tomorrow.
There is history here, Madbuda and Leto ramped up the explosiveness, but there is still time to correct the errors made. I am glad that there are team members who are transparent with the community, but this must be the norm in all honesty. The team needs Leto, he is the BTCH/HushList man, and he needs to make this happen as promised (or communicated).
I don’t know where the team is standing with Madbuda, I did notice that he removed his scam-related comments on reddit, but the team needs to see whether he is still essential to the development or replaceable. Talk with each other in respectable terms, work it out, do the housekeeping. By observation, I can see that he contributed much to providing hosting services. Ask the community to help or assist where possible with the chores. You guys need to ask or else nobody will provide their ‘available’ resources.
Look, nobody will ever agree to everything, there will always be disappointments, but the team needs to work to their strengths. In practical business they use the ugly word, ‘synergy’, but you need it, especially considering that everyone is working remotely. The team needs to be a whole than to be in pieces.
Then there is HushNG, it is a core ingredient to HUSH’s selling point. Attention is needed…
Lastly, update the community and investors on the airdrop, timelines, etc. build a vision that people can see themselves contribute and relate to, make use cases, put some cases into early production (e.g. HushNG’s messenger service), etc. only then will people hold and buy in. Under correction, Telegram has a similar idea with TON, beat them to market, create a product that you and the community love.
As much as this development is community-orientated, it will grow, and it will become competitive.
You need to start as soon as possible.

is there a way to take back my hush that was in the web wallet or is it lost?  TheTrunk will bring up his HUSH servers into production, the explorer, insight and web wallet will be restored later today. No news on BTCH… |

Basically from what i understand happened, was duke didn't pay in time for the server costs to madbuda and he didn't want to pay out of his own pocket so he shut them down.
The silly thing is that they were both impatient with one and the other. They need to align HUSH as a business, assign roles and responsibilities between the team members. Funding is essential, they need to have payments available in advance, alternatively, they need to actively seek donations within the ‘participating’ community. They lack business, basic people and communication skills, and both went on a childish and destructive rage. The other members acted reasonably, but they have no leadership. At the end, they excluded the community. You don't pull the plug on an invested community, this is bad business practice and unethical. Their actions made the BitConnect people look like saints. All they needed were a little patience. |

I see the HUSH 1.0.12 readme has been updated 6 hours ago. One core member has been removed, also noted on the website. I know that he may be moving abroad going by the Discord talks, but now who is going to work on HushNG?
It is a shame they removed or disabled the Discord channel; the community is in the dark. Many questions around the airdrop now, suddenly BTCH looks like all talk and no walk.
They say that they didn't shutdown discord but only have technical issues  More like team issues. Discord is hosted by Discord, there is no known technical issue. Madbuda were the channel admin, he terminated the channel. He is a rage now, stating BTCH to be a scam on social media. To say they didn't shutdown Discord is PR. TheTrunk cleared it up when he posted the team debate. |

This is only the part of the chat, yes I ran servers that supported hush explorer and wallet, yes I shut them down. The reason has nothing to do with being paid. The reason is we made hush to be great, not to make money. BTCH is a money grab and only created to make BTCP look bad and to give Duke Leto profits. Nothing more. I left the project yesterday and shut down everything I ran because of this and the mad ranting of Duke Leto. He is a cancer on the crypto world

Yes, I did see the Duke Leto rant and that he will burn the market. So, Duke Leto being removed from GitHub, the BTCH airdrop seems to be dead.
Give us some news on the snapshot, because we need to decide? Until then I'm out.
