No idea who would of sent the 15$.
i don't care if i lose that money at all but all the other 180 some was confirmed so will i ever see that again? Sorry just started using btc know virtually nothing about it

Dont worry. When a transaction is created, it is relayed and stored in the mempool until it is mined in a block or as we call it a confirmed transaction. Over time transactions with too little fees and hence are not added by miners will simply be dropped from the mempool to make room for other transactions. When that happens, basically those transactions that you send out that are not confirmed simply has the balance set back to the amounts before that tx was made , basically unspent.

Ok great thanks a lot!

The outputs you received that were used as inputs in this transaction has a long cascade of non confirmed transactions. Your tx in particular cannot be confirmed as parent inputs has not been confirmed too.

https://blockchain.info/tx/f00c45ad6c40ef36fa71cd3525bef165c322a8baed195fe9a8840f488829dcaa in which you received some coins from 1FwhvNJJLJDETx7JFaMJFwhAVu5BdCommc  has not been confirmed
https://blockchain.info/tx/b8faede0a1d1f5a1f02ce472b8bd0b64288b3b88ee2b937d5dc4bc7ecb2cd867 which has the output sent to 115CNVyVynwctoNxckwyJ3Pjxzu6tLz6uY has not been confirmed too.

The list of inputs in tx b8faede0a1d1f5a1f02ce472b8bd0b64288b3b88ee2b937d5dc4bc7ecb2cd867 has 3 seperate addys with unconfirmed txes too.

So how do i fix something like this do i just lose 190$ because that 15$ that i was sent will most likely never be confirmed?

If you know the person sending the tx ($15 in this case), it might be possible if he/she or you do a Child pay for Parent transaction, but with so many prior unconfirmed low fees txes you would have to add a lot of fees, not worth it.

Think about it this way, the 15$ you are trying to send as part of the 190$ was never confirmed and hence you are trying to spent something you dont have. If the txes do not get confirmed, they should get dropped out of the mempool after a few days or even weeks later. You can then hound the person who sent that $15 to you in the first place.

What wallet did you use? Blockchain.info seems to be rather delayed this time . So if you use it its just delayed . The next time you do a transaction do it wiith another wallet .

Anyways, That transaction is connected to a chain of unconfirmed transaction . So you're basically spending from those unconfirmed ones . I suggest that you should use viabtc to confirm those first . Here it is: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ . What you should do is to check all outputs and enter the unconfirmed transactions connecting to that one on viabtc, The older ones must go first .

But not all transactions are eligible in viabtc . Check this:
Quote
Why does it say “Transaction does not exist”?
In the following cases, you may be told that your transaction does not exist:
1) Too low fee: We only provide accelerator services for those with at least 0.0001BTC/KB transaction fees;
2) Node reboot: When a Bitcoin node is rebooted, synchronization of transaction data may be delayed. You can try again later;
3) Previous transaction unconfirmed. Your transaction can’t be confirmed if previous transactions connecting to yours are unconfirmed. You’ll need to wait till all previous transactions are confirmed first. You can also use our accelerator to help with that.
We can’t accelerate confirmation of “Double spent” transactions either.

If you ever find one transaction not eligible, What you can do is contact a miner directly like quickseller and macbook-air .

Just get "Transaction does not exist" for all the transactions on that chain I try. Blockchain is the only explorer that will show the tx

Hello I am rather new to btc and tried to send a transaction to my friend tx here

https://blockchain.info/tx/c51b1937a69c5d42b509ea4a92ad05ceacd0f8d9a07eac7a49f262afc6cc69fd

the problem is he never received the btc on his wallet whatsoever I know its not confirmed but it still should show before that I thought atleast.
Also it's not showing up on any other explorers other than blockchain did I just basically lose my money or can this be fixed?
