Is it possible to use WEX.nz to retrieve your BTC-e coins if you are in the US? I clicked a "BTC-e refund" link and ended up at WEX but despite recognizing my account they needed me to verify yet wouldn't let me select the US (which is described in their User Agreement).  Are there any remaining options to access BTC-e accounts in the US?

I used Cryptsy and BTC-e in 2014. I moved most coins to cold storage but left some in the exchanges. Since both exchanges are (seemingly) dead I have no way of knowing how many coins remained in them, although it wasn't many. Many of the exchanges I used back then emailed to confirm when a transfer happened included an address. Using the blockchain and whoswho I am able to track each coin and determine when I sent them to BTC-e and Cryptsy and when they left (if they did). But I am hitting a block with tracking with my archived Cryptsy emails and was curious if someone could parse them.

I have a number of emails from Cryptsy with the subject "Confirm your withdrawal" and use the following format:

When I look up the withdrawal addresses on the blockchain they do not exist and thus have no transactions. Searching the whoswho also shows no address. And I don't have any emails that actually confirm the withdrawal occurred. My question to those who used Cryptsy is: when the request was confirmed did Cryptsy send a 2nd email with the actual recipient address and confirmation of the transfer? I don't have any of those so I am wondering if I forgot to confirm the transfer and never clicked the link (which seems unlikely). Or did Cryptsy never send an email record of where the coin was sent after confirmation? Finally, what is the Withdrawal address above and why is it not on the blockchain?

I'm curious how others resolved their support issues with BTC-e:

I have been working with BTC-e for over 2 months to re-activate an account which I used in 2013-14.

• I sent the required documents and proved I had access to the email account, 2FA, and transaction notifications associated with the associated account.
• They then told me I needed to create a new account at xBTCe and verify it. I did that.
• Upon being verified they told me to wait for 10 days and they would re-activate my account.
• After 20+ days I contacted them again and now they are asking for a bank account I used for purchases in 2015. Except I have not used a bank account with them and I did no transactions in 2015 (if I had, my account would never have been suspended).

I keep meeting their requests and told it will be resolved but then nothing changes. When I contact them again they make new demands unrelated to the last ones. The last one raises a red flag because they are requesting bank accounts which I have never used with them.

I've seen a few posts where users were eventually able to re-activate their accounts with BTC-e and was curious at what they did to finally resolve the issue?

It has been 11 days since I submitted and still haven't heard anything and the account is still suspended. Granted it hasn't been 10 business days but the longer it takes the more frustrating it is. I'm excited to trade using the stored BTC on my BTC-e account and so far it has taken almost a month to re-activate my account since first submitting a ticket to BTC-e to resolve the issue.

Does anyone have other suggestions on how to expedite the process? I've seen people mention tactics like contacting them everyday or even writing a ticket in Russian.

What is the security risk of uploading a driver's license and utility bill to xbtce? Are they as trustworthy as btc-e (which may not be saying much)?  I likely did something similar with btc-e years ago but want to understand the risk, especially if this process just was announced yesterday.

My BTC-e account was blocked due to inactivity. I submitted the requested documents and support replied to me stating I need to create an account using my same email address at XBTCe and verify it to unblock my BTC-e account. Is this site legitimate? Has anyone done this and successfully unblocked their BTC-e account? Xbtce requires a driver's license and a utility bill to verify, which sounds simple but is dangerous if sent to a site with ill intent. Any recommendations?

Has anyone received a reply from BTC-e regarding this issue? I submitted a request a week ago with the required files to unblock (due to inactivity) and the ticket remains open with no reply.

I bought BTC back in 2012 and 2013 and after riding the $1200 rollercoaster decided to sit back and hold instead of actively trade. I transferred most of my coins to a cold storage but left a few in exchanges such as Mt Gox and Cryptsy (and others which still exist).  I am interested in determining how much was left in the exchanges which went insolvent. Is there a way to track this for exchanges which you can no longer login to? I have the addresses which I sent coins to in my history, but I am unsure what exchange accounts those addresses are associated with. Is there any way to track this just from the address, or did all that information disappear when those exchanges collapsed?
