1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Antminer A3 earning $500 a day mining SIAcoin . .WHAT?! Results & Stats on: February 08, 2018, 07:14:48 AM
I noticed the difficulty went down by quite a bit? Did the A3 owners here notice anything?

https://siamining.com/stats

If you read the box below the chart it spells it out pretty clearly:

What's going on with the difficulty? At block 135,000 a scheduled hardfork happened. Due to a bug in the new difficulty algorithm, the network difficulty first dropped to a very low number, then started targeting a block time of approximately 30 minutes (instead of the correct 10 minutes). This bug is being fixed by a new hardfork at block 139,000. It will take a few days before block times go back to normal (source). Meanwhile, ASICs have started mining, causing the difficulty to rise further.

Exactly... So I was wondering if the miners noticed anything?

Thanks for sharing the updates and experiences! As SIA supporter and (since yesterday, former) SIA GPU miner I'm very interested in seeing the changes of the network.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Gulden a good investment? on: May 27, 2017, 07:45:37 AM

Gulden on the other hand is only being influenced by bitcoin price but not actual trading price. A lot of Guldens purchasing comes from direct Euro investment as seen on coinmarketcap (Nocks, litebit, guldentrader + 2 Euro exchanges due this year according to posts here) which will further keep things stable.

At least we have established Nocks is faking the volume as your Euro theory is not holding out. Gulden going down like a sack of shit like the rest of them.

Yeah...  Sad On the other hand though, Gulden's market cap position increased, despite the price going down like the others.
