1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Cryptonight Heavy in 2019 Dead or alive? on: July 08, 2019, 07:16:34 PM
A big hello to everyone.
I open this discussion because I noticed a strange thing,
searching the net i could not find one coin on Cryptonight Heavy, all are hard fork to another algo.

How can people buy Cryptonight Heavy hash on sites like miningrigrentals?
Where and What mining??
Is possible mining in original Cryptonight Heavy aglo? maybe having some reject or ahsh failure hash?

I dont understand this, there is a lot of confusion about these algorithms, I hope it can be useful to many and that someone will answer. regards

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: Zpool.ca: Does it take 20-22% fee? on: June 07, 2017, 08:59:50 AM
hey guys..... Make a decision .... xDD
Lose 20% only for conversion?
Or even without converting the coin?
Why do some earn more, and others less using the same system ??
Let me understand well .... sorry but I do not speak English, I think I'm not the only one, for all visitors who read this topic, thank you.

Hi guys, i have a question.... Huh Huh
at moment I using skein on Zpool but mining 5 different coin and convert all to btc;
i can add 5 wallet into bath file? Because I do not want to lose conversion.
Or i can mining just one coin? DGB for example?  Huh
What do you think is the most profitable choice?
Sorry for the trouble, thank you all. Wink
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GTX1080ti's: Better Options? on: June 05, 2017, 09:36:06 AM
Have a newbie question:

When I mine with this:

ccminerAlexis78.exe -r 0 -a skein -o stratum+tcp://skein.mine.zpool.ca:4933 -u BTC_Address -p c=BTC,skein,stats

Do I mine DGB-Skein and deposit into my BTC wallet as BTC currency? I guess.

Can I insert my Polo DGB wallet address to where it says `BTC_Address` to deposit DGB directly without any internal auto exchange?

If not how can I mine DGB-Skein without conversion?

Thanks.

Its never a good idea to mine to an exchange wallet.   Always mine to a personal wallet and xfer to the exchange.  Problems can arise if you don't.

Some exchanges clearly state this on their wallet link page as well.

You can mine on zpool without conversion, just change payout address and payout type in the password field.

How this is possible? Skein used 5 different currency, i can add 5 wallet into bath file? Or i can set ccminer to miner just one currency? what is the more profitable system?
And why if i use exchange wallet i have problem?
For example I use yobit.net, which allows me to have an address for almost all coins, and has an internal exchange system.
You say it's best to open a "private" account for each coin, using a different wallet, and convert them later?
thanks for your time if you responde me, good luck bro Wink

Sorry for the trouble, I downloaded the files, set up my wallet and started off.
How does payout work? How much can I see the earnings on my account? Is there a way to monitor this?

Put your btc address in here
http://zpool.ca/?address=
hehe lol Thanks you so much Cheesy Grin
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Our Setup** Hardware, Electricity and Gain. on: May 30, 2017, 03:42:49 PM
Hi at all  Grin

My idea is that every user here writes their own configuration so that they have a nice diary, especially for new users I think it's a good idea to understand something. : P

Program: Nicehash

GPU: 980 ti
Watt/h: 250w
Electricity cost at Kw: $0.08cent day
Electricity cost at day: $0.56cent
Electricity cost at month: $16.8
Gain day: $4
Gain moth: $120
Net gain month: 120 - 16.8= $103.2

Add more information you can, including photos or anything else.
Good luck to all  Grin

Here is some info, more can be found easily online or here at the forum.
You will need to take your time and do a proper research to introduce yourself to Bitcoin mining.
This is no easy way to get rich. You especially need to pay attention to your electricity etc. costs. For most people it is not profitable to mine Bitcoin with the current situation.

Bitcoin mining today is done with ASIC hardware, like for example Antminer S9, AvalonMiner 741, Ebit E9, Antminer T9, Antminer R4, AvalonMiner 721, ...

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining#ASIC_Mining
http://bitcoindaily.org/bitcoin-guides/what-is-bitcoin-mining/

Here is how to do the physical setup for Canaan Creative AvalonMiner 741:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iz9ujCdRXn8

Here is Antminer S9 tutorial:

You can also find manufacture original user manuals at www.canaan.io and www.bitmain.com
thanks for the answer.

I'm looking for the best product based on consumption. I have a 1000w power supply.

At the moment I'm using nicehash with my 980ti, it's up to 35mh / s or 420sols / s. Gain $4 per day $120 month
My idea:
setup cost $2000 - build a rig with 6x rx570 - (150-180mh/s) $400-500 per month
setup cost  $6000at the moment - After the prices drop, make it one with 6x 1080ti - ( 70mh/s or much ) $1000-1200 per month

From what you tell me, with even less money I could earn much more ?! With asic antminer & co? really?
What would you do to me?

Second you what is the best product - consumption / gain ??

Thanks you at all!! Cheesy Cheesy
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080 Ti mining OC and power? on: May 30, 2017, 07:39:27 AM
This is an honest question. Why would you throw money away buying a bleeding edge graphics card when you can buy 3-4 other cards for the same price with a combined hash rate that will shit all over that card for overall value and hashrate?

edit: You can buy 5 RX470s for the same price as the one Ti.

Hmm...

5 x 470 = ~140 Mh/s on ETH which is about $16 / day

1 x 1080ti = ~1000 Mh/s on Skein which is about $16 / day

I'm not even going to talk about power consumption or space savings in this scenario

1000 mh/s? I thought it was more like 600

Nope Cheesy

what model of 1080ti you used?
