Haven't used an ANS wallet before but have downloaded from github today and it's not working fine :

I've gone to extract everything from the zip and at the 93% mark it's telling me "destination folder access denied / you need permission to perform this action". I'm the only person who uses this laptop / am the "administrator" so I'm pretty confused about what the problem might be.
Has anyone had this problem come up before?..

On Wednesday, July 19th, 2017, an exploit was found in Parity’s multisig wallets. This exploit allowed anyone to take control over said wallet and perform any regular function, including transferring ether and killing the wallet. The presale contract that was launched had a multisig wallet that was vulnerable: https://etherscan.io/address/0x63c0f17c1f72e1315e3d4f8a89a37d95f1314793#readContract

Due to the nature of the presale contract, it was impossible to change the contract owner or outgoing address where the funds are sent. Once we learned of this exploit, we suspended all advertising and contacted the White Hat Group as well as other key Ethereum experts on our next steps. We were given a contract to be used to buy out the remaining presale and end it all in one fell swoop, sadly, we were not able to secure enough funding to completely buy it out. In the interim, we had a server setup and running performing the following:
•  Check if the presale contract is sold out. If it is, takeover the wallet, call endPreSale, and get the funds out of the wallet in one block.
•  Check if the presale contract had < 1000 Ethereum left to sell. If it did, we’d call the aforementioned contract to buy it out, end the presale, and recover the funds in one block.
•  Check if the current block is within 5 blocks of the presale ended. If it was, it would start sending commands to a contract to start the recovery process without the use of any extra funds.

Due to the exploit, we were unable to publicly announce anything since anyone could have come in and simply killed the multisig wallet, thus locking the funds in the contract forever. Instead, we contacted trusted parties to try and secure funds to try and buy the contract out.

At 10:15pm EST, July 24, 2017, the presale contract was sold out and drained in one block. At first, we assumed the party responsible was not working with our interests in mind and had come to the conclusion that the funds were lost. Several minutes later we received an email from a white hat hacker that submitted proof they had the funds and are willing to return them in full. We are still working with this person to secure the funds, but steps must be taken to ensure that both parties are who they say they are.

Regardless of your opinion of Ethereum, this only proves there are a lot of good people in the community that want to help out in any way they can. More updates to follow as we receive them.

Chaincoin works and it is very stable transactions are almost instant. There are no major bugs with the coin or wallet. With all the hype with masternode coins I bought into many of them and many of them have major bugs. Their wallets crash or have some other major network issues. Chaincoin is solid and maintained.

You are making a mistake of not acknowledging that HODL movement happened. CHC before and after HODL movement is not the same coin. It now has a huge community of masternode owners and HODLers behind it. Number of masternode owners is probably only second to Dash. Yes it has the potential of becoming masternode coin number 2 easily. It actually was no2 mn coin for a while it had bigger market cap than PIVX.

And for devs they are very active they chat to people on slack even Roli is very active. And there are new people in the core team like brakmic who is a huge addition to the team and very active on both slack and discord. Look at his portfolio https://stackoverflow.com/story/brakmic he is a serious dev with 20+ years of experience in software development. Simply put CHC before HODL movement and CHC after the hodl  movement is not the same coin. People have now seen where it can go and nothing will be the same ever again.

With 2100 people on slack and 2000+ people on discord coin is more alive then 95% of other coins on coinmarketcap. Frankly you sound like someone who sold at 0.05$ only to wake up next week and see that the price has gone up 100x times. I know it is hard to accept that but chaincoin has over night become a serious masternode coin. With 100 new nodes / day it will soon have more masternodes than PIVX. Price wise it has enourmous potential and if devs implement the dev fund they will have more than $30000 $ every month to put into development. Investors love the dev fund because it warrants that coin will have active development so it means even more investments. Future is very bright for this coin.

There is a new release https://github.com/chaincoin/chaincoin/releases that was published 4 days ago and there are 7 commits since the last release. Also there is a team of 11 people behind chaincoin they are not all developers but they don't have to be all developers. In this stage it is completely ok for chaincoin to have 3-4 developers. Last I heard one of the devs is actively working on fulfilling the requirements needed for chaincoin to get listed on bittrex. They list bittrex as a first priority for the coin since it has grown and really needs bigger exchange.  And also there is a new twitter account https://twitter.com/chaincointeam .

the problem with working on this project is that there is very low demand for this. So its really not worth the time to make this for just 5 people. If more people are interested i will do this project much quickly.
