I wish people would stop comparing Trump to Obama (I also hope that Clinton simply fades away, and stops commenting about the election or other social/political issues). It only stirs up Trump's base and makes them much more determined to hang on to their "hero".
 
As an essay grader in political sciences I can tell that Trump will topple himself if we let him. Look at how the proposed budget adversely affects much of his base. 
 
Once his base loses their enthusiasm for him, he is gone. His base, however, must realize on their own that the emperor has no clothes. You can't force it on them, or they will strongly defend him.
