1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [8500 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: April 26, 2013, 10:16:33 AM
Great work on this Slush!

I just requested a password change, and instantly received the email (in the spam folder).

I noticed that my reward dropped with about 0.02. At first I thought that I lost my BTC, since I didn't received an email about a payout.
Then I looked at my wallet, and found "26-4-2013 04:05: +0.02370365 BTC". Great work!

Thank you for working non-stop on this for the last couple of days, making this the best pool there is.
Now, is there an address we can use to donate to you, Slush?

Cheers!

Slush's is nice, if it would work..
Last couple of days have been a little shaky for Slush.
The pool has been offline all day due to a DDoS attack, same goes for yesterday..
3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: minging costs more in electricity than coins gained on: April 17, 2013, 05:13:15 PM
It does.
That is why even GPU mining isn't useful, if you are paying your own electricity bill.
The way to go now is using ASIC systems. Those are way faster and cost less electricity.

Was just about to post this, glad I searched! This should be a sticky.

It probably depends on how many times you have posted.
People can also be sorted in different forum groups, resulting in different titles.

Seems like it's still down.
Miner will continue to tell you you're mining, but since it can't connect, your shares won't be submitted.

Is doing ~180 Mhash/s on a 6870 HD about right? I see a lot of other people with worse GPU's doing better than me.
