Soooo, I guess this project is dead, right ?

All indications would point to "yes", but this is a VERY strange project.  Here's how things work with Humaniq:

1. Work quietly, giving minimal verifiable information, and when you DO give updates, post polished fake-feeling videos to places like FB.  The rough and tumble forums like BCT and Reddit are just not how this team rolls.  They do what they HAVE to do to be able to check these boxes off, but they don't live here.
2. When complaints periodically get loud enough, hold an AMA, or video session, pretend to answer questions, and claim victory.
3. See the trees, not the forest.  It seems counter-intuitive, but this group seems to ENTIRELY focused on regulation and all of the craziness that goes along with it.  Most of us would expect the grand vision of inclusiveness to be very disruptive and aggressively displace current forms of payment.  That's not the path that Humaniq is traveling.  They want to be blessed by the institutions, not destroy them.

I'm frustrated as hell with this project, and have basically given up trying to follow their progress.  I'm holding, but it's one of those "come back and check if they're still here in a year" type experiences.  This group is smart and capable, but they are playing in a space that doesn't fit them.  They are polished, regulatory, banking experts, not crypto disruptors coming in and raising hell like ETH and BTC did and continue to do.

If hmq is not divisible and the max supply is approx 920M

Then how can billions of people use it?

nobody know technical specifications about hmq token? same as eth coin?

HMQ actually is divisible to. 8 decimals. After the white paper was published, humaniq recognized the problems with inflation, and if you look at the HMQ contract you will see that it is divisible to 8 decimals.

The goal of avoiding fractional math that is discussed in the white paper will likely be accomplished with fixed fractional sub-tokens (think satoshis or nickels, dimes, quarters).

Hope this helps!

Hi guys, first time i post here,

Humaniq seems to have a very solid team and a good brand, but why their github is so empty https://github.com/humaniq ?
Plus we can't access to their slack without kind of authorization they say on the website . . .

As for the github this is because Humaniq has partnered with 3 technical cores. This includes Etherion Lab for Smart-contracts Development, VisionLabs for Bio Identification Development, and Distributed Lab for Backend Advisors. You can join Humaniq Slack here humaniq-co.slack.com.

I'm sorry.  This answer makes no sense at all. In fact, given that you're outsourcing a fair amount of your dev work, I would think that you need a source code control system even more.

All of the teams that you mention are more than capable of using git.

The more time that goes by without meaningful code beyond some old smart contracts, the more of an issue this is going to be.  Source code is one very common measure of progress.  Without it, your community will begin to question your progress, and rightly so.

Do you have a time frame for when you expect to deliver the app, your latest contracts, and backend implementation in git?

You may leave your question in this form /forms/FhPd6F2Z5OQrvoH33]https://[Suspicious link removed]/forms/FhPd6F2Z5OQrvoH33

Hey guys, your Google Forms URL that you posted doesn't work as far as I can tell. You should test this kind of stuff before posting. Smiley

Here is the link again.

You aren't going to get many questions because the form doesn't make any damn sense!

Let me be as specific as possible, and maybe someone over there can fix things.

Please change the words "clear humaniq roadmap" to "What would you like to ask at the AMA?"

Sheesh! You guys aren't doing yourselves any favors in the perceived competency category.

The Humaniq project itself is a great idea. It will be a great success if the Dev team does a serious job. But many members of the team behind this project are not trust worthy. I talked about that on a slack. In Africa when people want to scam the wear the dress of pastor to give more credibility. unfortunately many of the member of the project are pastor...with my experience I did not invest in this ICO. The price could rise due to speculation but Ive doubt that they will develop they idea. Maybe I am wrong but reading this thread I could say until now my doubt is verified... let see in the future.

Say what?  Are you making an analogy here?  Or are you saying that you have personally seen Humaniq employees dress as pastors/priests?!

That would actually be pretty cool, now that I think of it.  Kind of cult like... I'm assuming the priestly garb would be some kind of ice blue, with a white collar.

Someone needs to make a meme of this immediately...

No news / clarifications from dev

Main site https://humaniq.co/ not updated since Token sale almost a month back. (or is there some other Main site?)

As a long term investor, I am looking for some statements and confidence building measures from dev, to continue to hold on to token. Only info being published is too generic /  visionary statements

Not sure why the humaniq team does not speak the hell up here, but I will say that they do have some pretty active product managers on their slack channel (look for @anton).  There's a fair amount of P&D bullshit there too, but a few humaniq employees actually seem to know what the hell is happening.  Have also gotten direct responses from founders on my questions.

To answer some of your specific questions:

- There is a planned web site refresh in the next week or two.  Most of the team has been focused on some heavy showing at blockchain expo for the last week or so.
- It seems that there is some pretty heavy weight backend block chain development and testing happening at the moment, including whether to use ETH ledger directly, or to use a private node with private node block verifications being cross posted to the public ETH ledger.
- Sounds like they're dropping support for iOS, as the target market for their customers is squarely in the Android camp.  This is good news, as it allows them to focus dev/outsourcing efforts on the platform that really matters (there's never going to be $20 new iPhones for sale in Africa).

Hope this helps.

There is no need to worry our team is working hard to release the Beta app in May. As of right now we have released the pre-beta Humaniq version of the application.  The completed app will come in July.

Not wanting to be condescending here, but I guess perhaps I must. Smiley

Do you see the specific bullet points that I listed, with details on what is being worked on, and specific meaningful answers? Yeah that's what you need to have someone from your team start doing here. Regularly.

What nobody on your team seems to realize yet is the bullshit answers like "don't worry guys, we're working hard on things... We are doing cool stuff" just makes things worse.  You chose to do an ICO and sell a coin into the wild West of crypto. You birthed this baby. You need to manage it in a meaningful way.

If you don't have a capable admin here, find one and pay them. Otherwise the FUDders win and your token goes down the shitter.  I know that you aren't here to pump a coin, but even if you don't give a damn about your investors, at the very least you have a vested interest in the healthy growth of your token as a funding strategy for your product.

So is the other 800,000,000 million coins pre-mined or is someone mining them? Because according to coinmarketcap this coin isnt mineable. Amd at what rate are these new coins being injected in at? Ive noticed over 10 million coins released over the last week.

The funds you are talking about is I guess are unsold tokens which are locked and can't be used (not sure).

Guess dev should clarify. My understanding is that the 800 m or so tokens will be the free HMQ that users of the App (available in July for the unbanked) will get as soon as they register (based on the formula in whitepaper, pls read). This is the incentive for the poor to use this app.

I am not sure about the recent release of 10m coins.

I am not clear how Humaniq will restrict app and free HMQ to only the needy, when anyone can download the App, do a proof-of-face and earn free HMQ. Had aked this question earlier in this forum

What a joke, 800 million coins are going to be 'airdropped' to people with absolutely no money? That is surely going to work out just fine price-wise.

Yeah...not a particularly smart move unless there is a set and strict distribution structure. If we consider it like a 'bounty' as we do for most stupid shit in the crypto community at large, it can be a small quantity of HMQ that you can get for downloading the app and doing the registration steps and set up.

Not a bad idea actually IF that is what they intend to do. But it has to come with steps, you can't just give money away for downloading the app. The user has to show intent on using it. If I get 100 HMQ for using the app, I may want to purchase more down the line with actual money.

Humaniq devs; please let this be what is planned in general. You guys need to be clearer on shit because the previous explanation is not good.

I think the team should have done Airdrop instead of the ICO so as to be fair to everyone, if I can get the tokens free of charge by just downloading the app what incentive to I have as an investors. The 800 million token is too huge to be given out if this is true, unless the tokens are just dummy tokens

Not sure about their endgame here but it looks like they're selling out their investors.

Not really that bad of an idea. It is a marketing technique. So, on the same rationale, if you invest in a company and the company then spends it on marketing, he is 'selling out their investors'?  The trick is to get the users to try it once to see how easy and fast it is. This will by defacto increase volumes. Volumes are what every blockchain needs to start building the flow. I still believe that this project will be worth at least 10x as much in the nearer term.

Yeah, so according to their whitepaper, there is a pretty well-defined distribution model for roughly 800mm tokens.  Many will be used for incentive-based distribution to penetrate new markets.  If I recall correctly, as you use their platform there are milestones that warrant "bonus".  For example, create profile, send some HMQ, receive some HMQ, etc.  The bonuses decrease over time, so users are incentivized to sign up early and use frequently.

A key point here is to recognize that there are only about 200mm tokens in circulation at the moment, and that there is a pretty well described PLAN for how the other tokens will be circulated in the future.  I've not seen a smart contract codifying the distribution, so it's just a whitepapery promise at this point, but I think that dumping 4x the circulation in tokens to "screw investors" seems pretty stupid.  I'm betting (and I've bet a fair amount) that Humaniq is in this for the long haul.

Also, as others have pointed out, the apps are running on test-net at this point.  Mid-July is the planned release of the first full app running on the ETH blockchain.
