... total market capitalization will drop to $250,000,000
So there is a long way to go yet!
I suspect that those who entered the market recently, within the last 3 months, I unlikely to ever see a return on their investment. I doubt the market will reach $600,000,000 to $800,000,000 again.
HODL is bad advice. This happens every January is nonsense.
You have been warned.

In private messages, you newbies claim to be part of the "western" division of Waltonchain.
I have 20+ messages from people who appear to speak on behalf of Waltonchain. Each message comes with a warning "this person is new and it may be a SCAM". Around half the messages are threatening.
Is this how a legitimate enterprise behaves?
To me, it is strange that a Korean / Chinese team is targetting the Western market but has nobody to engage on these platforms in an official capacity - a community manager or spokesperson.
The best way to prove me wrong is to deliver the project and behave professionally. There is a thread on this forum which claims that Ethereum is a scam. I doubt many people believe that now. The crypto community is democratic and advocates free speech. People should be entitled to their opinion. Everyone has free will and can decide for themselves.
When people who claim to be associated with WTC behave badly, overreact and attempt to make things personal - it only makes me more suspicious of the project.

I have said all I need to say about this project.
I have expressed my opinion. People can decide for themselves. Too many red flags, inconsistencies and newbies for me. And even if the project isn't a scam, I think it is a really bad idea with poor execution.

Have this coin if I am not mistaken was your blockchain and now it's at the ETH. How long has she moved to ETH?
I believe it was in the summer: June / July (ish)

I can't believe people argue that BTC is not a bubble.
Has it exceeded its intrinsic value? - yes What value: currency - only 1% used to buy stuff; store of value - limited numbers but its not like other commodities that have a use e.g. gold & jewelry.
Has it corrected? - yes, 25% last week
Is it still correcting? - probably
Is BTC blockchain tech being surpassed? - yes, blockchain 2.0 and now 3.0 emerging.
|
|
|
in my opinion, the market is still correcting and over the coming weeks, we will see a downward trend.
bitcoin is no different to any other commodity and markets are driven by human nature.
look at the graph for btc / total market cap. third peak will return close to second peak.

|
I am not certain that the correction is over yet.

understand you man, but think about this. How many people use coins now ? I do think around maybe 10.000.000. We are 7 billion on this planet and I'm sure that in the next 10 years we will arrive probably at 1B people buy them and using them We are still in time, look at Stratis or coins like those that have done +40.000% in just a couple of years ! I do believe that we can still get the right coins and with the right investments get a good amount of money.
In the evolutonary graphics, we are between very early adopters and consumers Smiley Is still a good moment, like probably 2000 for the dot.com world Smiley
Yes, but the IMF, Central Banks might team up with the likes of Microsoft or Google and establish a new digital currency completely cutting us out of the action. All open source.

What we are experiencing now is dead cat bounceI suspect BTC will bottom out somewhere between $5000 and $6000 It may take days or maybe weeks to reach the bottom ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.stack.imgur.com%2FCunBX.gif&t=663&c=yeuX9GRsLKaI_w)

Only coin that is up is Kin Coin. I don't know why ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) yes, it's a good opportunity to spot scam coins i.e the only ones increasing in value. we are nowhere bottom yet. this is just the start.

I agree.
Down below $5000 by New Year.

Personaly I think it's mistake to sell everything but everyone decides for himself. There is always a risk and no one has told that the price will rise all the time. But again, everyone decides for himself.
But having sold... it does feel like the Christmas sales have arrived early ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I cashed in 2 days ago too.
Most of my investments where held for 6 months+.
Signs the bubbles was about to pop:
Jump from $500 billion to $620 billion market cap in a matter of days.
Coins with little technical merit, no product and no utility reaching eye watering market caps.
Charlie Lee selling his LTC.
ICX not taking off as expected / hoped.
Bitcoin making national / international news on a daily basis.
I'm sure there's other stuff too. But it just didn't feel right.

Wow! A leak, really!?
Fancy that! And none of it is official. How careless of them.
I'd be amazed if this project produces any code. Copy and paste job from Pivx more likely.

Hello more newbies,
No, let's keep this thread so everyone can laugh at me when you become the next Microsoft or Apple.

Very good question....
I am working on a project called AFTERLIFE (L8RS)
I hope to publish a whitepaper soon with an ICO Q3 2018.
It is essentially a decentralised will writing service for cryptocurrencies.
If you die the coins/tokens will be held in escrow for a loved one of your choice.
It will cover most tokens and coins and we are looking at integration with other platforms (exchanges & wallets etc).
It will be easy to maintain and fully secure for you and your loved one/s (both sides of the system).
We have a unique set of parameters to determine if someone is no longer with us.
Watch this space!
