Anyone who sells at this price is insane, or just wants to give away money.
This thing is amazing. I didn't even know it existed until recently, but I was very impressed by what I saw.
The idea seemed a little underwhelming to me at first, but I guess it's quite good compared to a lot of the other projects.
I bought a bag yesterday, and will definitely HODL.
Of all the coins I’ve researched (I’m a noob, so not all that many) this one was one of the first I took great interest in. This coin is doing it right, and we are now seeing some movement. Soon the test net will be live and we will see major moves. I’m excited about this project, and especially about the way dev and team are going about it. Slow and steady wins the race... |

I have proudly invested in this project and I think now is the time to start marketing in an more aggressive manner. It has already 10x in one week which is great but i think we could get this coin to 1Mio Market Cap or even 10 Mio in no Time but we have to spread the word about this coin first. So i ask you fellow investors and maybe even the DEV to help moon this coin by spreading the word!  I agree, though I think we should give dev a little more time for development. Let it grow slowly, of its own accord, until we have solid working wallets that dev is close to releasing. I think one of the biggest issues is people hyping a coin to the moon, only to watch it dive back down, lose investor confidence, and slowly die. Slow steady natural gains for the win. |

Been holding for a few months now, XVG has been steady (xvg/usd that is) while many other alts falling. Good to see this recent bull run. Still holding (not much, I’m a poor plebeian) and have very high hopes. Great work dev team, and thank you for not falling into the “pre-hype hype” crap that so many other coins do. I’m very excited about the future of this coin. This is the coin that gets my idealistic side excited. They are doing things right (POW, no pre-mine, true anonymity) to be the coin of the financial revolution. At the risk of sounding too naive, I believe in the world of corrupt central banking rule, XVG could be the light in the darkness. I support this coin, and it seems others do too, for all the right reasons. It’s not just a bunch of people looking to get rich quick (like so many other projects), but folks interested in honestly helping change the wold, and bring fairness to an overwhelmingly partisan institution. THANKS XVG, and keep fighting the good fight!

Very important reminder:On block 135.000 (in about 5 days) there will be a hard fork in order to implement the new hashing difficulty algorithm. This was planned 6 months ago. Appreciate it very much. Thats exactly the case, I am using a HDD. So thats why it takes ages... Thanks for the workaround tip I will check that out. But on the other hand a cold storage is all I need at the moment, because I want to hold my SIA for long term anyway and dont want to send them anywhere in the next year. So yeah, I guess I will just do it that way.

SXC has submitted multiple requests to Yobit all with no responses. We're waiting for them and not the other way around. Any news on Yobit wallet? Is it ever gonna be out of maintenance?
We've submitted tickets... we've tweeted.... we've emailed.... Here's my support queue with Yobit...  Not sure where to go from there. Ah, right on, and no worries, looks like people still buying on yobit, I covered with a 20 sat gain and got out. Thanks for the response though, and sorry I didn’t look through the thread hard enough to see the first time you posted that response. Prices moving up nice lately:) |

I’d like to preface by saying that I hate yobit, and I sometimes do stupid things. I saw a few nights ago that SXC was selling at half the price of cryptopia on yobit. Rather than being smart and looking into why, I jumped on a chance to better my position for cheap. Went to withdrawal, saw the wallet was in maint, figured I’d wait a day or two and check again. Today still in maint. So I decided to look at this thread, see if anyone else is having this issue, or if it could be resolved. (Like I said, sometimes I do stupid stuff... FOMO is real)
Is there any other way to get these coins out aside from selling them (for half their btc value) and buying them again on another exchange? Most of my SXC was bought off cryptopia some time ago, and most of that is now in sxc wallet. I’d like to add the few coins I snagged from yobit, or at the very least, if I KNOW this won’t be resolved, put sell orders up to try to cover the purchase. (Bought at 300 sats, 200 less than cryptopia, 100 more than yobit today...)

Thank you very much. It has given me a lot of confidence about verge and crytocurrency. I think everybody should hear this. I bought a little XVG a few months ago during a pump, before I read anything about what you guys are doing. I've been reading, and just watched the posted video, and bought a bunch more. New plan is to hold this one for the long haul. Just wanted to say keep up the awesome work! This project has huge potential, and I'm glad I found you guys! Also, that vid is very informative for the mostly lay-person (like myself). I started playing with crypto (recently) as a way to make some money, but I have learned so much about how these could finally take the power back from the central banking cartel. I am now a true believer. This is not a get rich quick scheme, this is the future, and an opportunity to upset the status quo. Thanks again for that awesome vid, and for all the hard work (dev) that an idiot like myself could never ever do. |

In this coin for a few months now, not much as I'm a broke ass, but very intrigued and excited by the potential of this coin, not to mention active dev. Keep it up! Did anyone else notice the new http://hempcoin.org website? It looks like with a focus more on hemp and agriculture-tech. Farmers and such. From an economic and environmental viewpoint, hemp has far greater implications than weed. What legal weed does to alcohol and prescription sales, hemp does 1000x to wood pulp paper manufacturing and other things. Between the two, hemp has far greater capital potential. I think this a good move. Cannacoin, potcoin, etc are already in the "weed" market, hemp is the far better focus IMO. I don't have the video handy, but hemp is supposed to make like 3x more O2 per acre than a forest does. Hemp will have huge impacts on the economy and the environment. Though, I believe there will be far more difficult press back by industries hurt by hemp (read: far richer lobbiests). A focus on hemp will make this coin eventually very valuable. IMO. |

Hey guys, im pretty new to this crypto business. When i open the windows wallet, it says out of sync, and it doesnt do anything. Is there something i need to do with the .conf file to start the sync? Sorry these are noob questions. Been storing on exchange, but Id like to start keeping them in my own wallet. Any help will be appreciated. Ill be holding on to the few KNC I have for a long long time.

I am very new to mining but really like the concept of this project. Can someone help me get started to solo mine. I am running a Windows 10, NVidia GTX 980TI and GTX1080 FTW. Not looking to make anything at this point, only collect some coins and participate. Any help with what miner and configuration would really be great.

I would suggest using a pool. When solo mining you either get lucky and get blocks or you dont. With a pool you get a nice constant income and dont need to worry about luck or not and with i gfx the chance is pretty low you will get lucky. That sounds good too, however I am really kind of lost when it comes to mining and the configuration. I downloaded that multiminer and while browsing the UI I started to get popups that where malware. scanning my PC now. Any chance you could give me some suggestions or a link to a miner/tutorial for beginners. I have the Sexcoin wallet, there is a tab for mining there, does this allow you to mine? I have been pool mining siacoin using marlin and that was fairly simple to setup. The 'mining' tab will enable CPU mining. Not much point on mainnet, but still handy on testnet. Can anyone say if CUDA still the de-facto for nVidia mining? I think I saw ccminer as an nVidia client also. Google 'nVidia Litecoin mining'. Noob here, I have not started any mining yet, but have been reading a lot about it, and I have def read that ccminer has nvidia support now, though most I've read people still recommend CUDAminer. Though since I have no experience with any mining, I would def research both before deciding. Also just wanted to say thanks to devs for being communicative about this project. I have high expectations for this coin, I think it has massive potential. Keep up the good work devs! |

You know what saddens me the most, i actually thought this coin was not a scam. This guy really needed to pay some of his bills or something i dont know why he ripped us off for 20 grand. No way there was a bug, i believe he was the one who is flooding the market with 2 mil but he didnt even know what the hell he was doing. How can u have a bug when prices going up to 0.16 cents. now marketcap is 75.000 and he got 20%. come on dear creator of the coin know that ripping off people gives u a very good life in this world and the afterlife.  u will pay me my money eventually in ur grave dont worry. why i say he is a scammer? look at all the idiotic messages that are placed by new accounts.. no he is making nupdates blablabla, in the beginning this guy is responding on every mssge, after the 0.16 cents rise he doesnt respond anymore, then after the so called bug all these new accounts are telling us to calm down. then after a while the creator of the coin talks again about fixing the bug. comeon!!!, Goodluck to those who got ripped and i hope u guys will make a big buck on other coins, and keep this a lesson for new coins for all of us. dont invest too much i lost 500 euro's way too much Read Midewalker's post. I believe that is the case. Whether he meant to rip off or not, there is def a bug (pos rewards of 2 mil, 80 mil circulating now). I doubt he meant to scam, cause if he did, that was a dumb time to pull out, it was going up, and had legs, plus, he wouldn't have released a "new" wallet. Doesn't really matter though, coin is worthless now, and bug still persists, so it's going to continue getting flooded every time pos rewards go out.
