Hey all,
I'm curious about Bitcoin confirmations. I'm having a discussion with a friend and I'm sure there are tons of threads on this but what exactly is a confirmation? Is a confirmation a new block? Why do I get some confirmations done in a few minutes and other times t may take hours... Yesterday for example it took 15 minutes for 5 confirmations... Why does it happen faster sometimes?

I have 12x Cairnesmore1 FPGA's (Quad Spartan). I've tested lots of different bitsteams on 2 of the 12 units but they rest run pretty stable @ ~840/ea

They received numerous trade in board yet they did not even bother to at least confirm that they received them or to let us know if/when we can pay the difference :/
What do you mean " we can pay the difference"? I ordered Avalon units, paid $1499, sent my trade-ins, so I expect them to pay me the difference, ie. send me $200 per Icarus. I think the above quote vindicates my perspective on things. I am expecting them to send me a custom order and to pay the difference at the batch 2 price level. This... I do not think that these units are getting applied to existing orders and that you are getting a "refund" persay. From what I understand, these go towards new units... not existing. |

I've seen too many sellers through bitmit ask for escrow releases to get their money. I'm going to assume this seller will do the same thing.
The fishy part is "If by Jan 1 , 2014 they have not ship the units to me i will refund full amount!" Meaning... he will want a release

Hi All,
I had purchased both of the units from Jae. I just wanted to post the I have received the units and the both work well. I know this thread left a sour taste in a couple people's mouth about how it happened but I wanted to say the transaction was sucessful.
