Possible to still get next tokens?   I know launch is coming and ICO is over -- so wondering when the next possible time to get tokens will be.  Thanks.

I am also having issues with Binance API import. Keys returning invalid or connection error.

Hi, I'm sorry if this was answered before, but there seems to be a problem with importing from the Binance API. The CoinTracking website tells me that the API key is invalid. Can you guys tell me what's the status of this and if the CoinTracking stuff is aware of this, or should I write directly to them? All other API imports that I've done worked fine (Bittrex, Cryptopia, Poloniex). Thanks.

I am currently experiencing the same Binance problem. I did have a successful Binance API import at 7am EST however. Now as mentioned above CT import area says Key Invalid.

Also just started having issues with Binance API.  I found this on CoinTracking Support Desk Forum:

"The validity of the key is determined by the exchange.

When the API is overloaded, it breaks off mid transfer. Thus an error message appears even though the key is correct.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but there is little we can do from our side. If no data is given, we can not import anything.

What's a good place to store these tokens?  My Ether Wallet?  (Add a custom token there?  Advice on how to do that?)

I've registered by clicking Join Now.  But now when I try to log in, it takes me back to the home page where I can "Join Now" and not to the dashboard with the various deposit methods.   Help??
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: August 07, 2017, 07:55:02 PM
been holding it since $6.35...

good time to book profit, or continue to hold?

Take out your investment and continue with the profits.

I'm pretty new to trading bitcoin and altcoins and this is something that I'm trying to figure out -- when to take profit or when to take out initial investment and let the profit ride?

I was also in around that price -- $6.11.  I know it's really my decision in the end, so I'm looking to get educated here on the smartest moves.  When to take out initial, when not to, etc.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: July 27, 2017, 04:49:23 AM
Where do I store LBRY coins?  Is there a wallet?  I am having a hard time finding it.  Can someone point me in the right direction so I can keep looking?

Yes, let's hope when it does hit the market, it stabilizes relatively quickly.  Of course, most importantly, hope the devs can deliver on this project.  Then it won't matter what happens when it hits the market!
8  Local / 한국어 (Korean) / Re: Bitcoin halving reports on: July 24, 2017, 03:22:24 PM
Even though there was some initial panic on Telegram when sale went live (just some network traffic is all), a great job so far, especially considering some recent ICOs that didn't go so smoothly....

Can't wait for the sale to conclude and for the project to really get going!

I checked my depotwallet a few days ago and had my tokens and coins in there (actually received them over a week ago) and all was fine.

Could not load the depotwallet website today at all. The site just would not load at all.  It finally just loaded and I logged in. My tokens and coins are not listed anymore.

This happen to anyone else?  Can anyone give me a clue as to what happened?

What's recommended gas when sending ETH? 200,000??

I think this can be huge but what I like about this project is the ability to fight poverty over the world with the help of financial inclusion. By the way it is best to register for the sale beforehand https://t.everex.io/t/FpSeAP8.

Besides just an investment, this is also why I like this project -- because it aims to help solve a world problem.  I know some people who joke (and sometimes don't joke) that not everyone needs access to finance or banking (after all, "they're just poor people in third world countries") and that bugs me.  Yes, I want to make money and provide for my daughter and so I hope this ends up being a success, but why can't others have that financial inclusion that I'm lucky to have?

...except for the whole waking up at 3:30am local time to try to get in!     Grin

Pretty excited about the sale tomorrow.  But, boy, is it an experience trying to explain to others (like family and friends and people outside of this community) what this is or what I'm investing in.   The looks we get, right?!

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale :: 21 June on: June 22, 2017, 02:27:53 PM
So here's a rookie question (and possibly a rookie mistake).  I triple checked the amount I sent (was only able to buy $500).  I sent it from Bittrex.  Was I supposed to ADD the transaction fee to the amount I sent?  I thought that it would send what I actually TYPED IN and take the transaction fee from my account.  But now I'm worried.

Though on the confirmation email from Civic, there is a star next to my payment and it says transaction fees may have been deducted from your payment.

So I don't know.  Will I just get rejected after spending my entire day figuring this out?  Seems counter-intuitive to have to do the math and add the transaction fee after declaring what I wanted to send in the first place.  Or am I worrying for nothing?

Hey I did exactly the same thing. The transaction fee made the amount I sent not exact as stated on the deposit page. So I sent the exact amount after. Not sure if this means all of my money will be returned or if the second and correct payment will be accepted.

I was thinking about resending but wouldn't you know it, I don't have that amount of bitcoin left in my account.  Agh.  Waited patiently all day and thought I did it correctly and now I have to worry that it'll just get rejected in the end.  And I would gladly send the missing 0.001.  Doesn't make sense that Bittrex would send 0.001 less than what I actually entered and asked it to send.  Seems counter-intuitive.  Or maybe it's fine and I'm wrong.

being a rookie is ok but being lazy is not! you should read the crowdsale instruction, it says you can't purchase using any exchange, your coins are lost sorry!

From Civic FAQ regarding the sale straight from the site:

What you need to be ready...
2. If you are paying in BTC:

A) Your BTC on an exchange or in a wallet, ready to be sent to the address displayed to you via the crowdsale widget.

AND LATER:

"If you choose to purchase tokens with BTC, you can send BTC from an Exchange but need to provide us with a token receipt address that is ERC20 compatible "

So yes, I am new to this and I may have made a mistake not factoring in the transaction fee because I thought Bittrex would send what I asked and would take the fee from my remaining BTC balance.

But I am not lazy.

I don't mind this queue system either.  It gives the appearance of fairness.  (Yes, that is a loaded statement).

However, I didn't know you could "get in line" before the actual start time.  And, were we all truly randomly placed in line?  Someone posted getting in line 30 minutes before it opened and placed in the 700s or something.  Much better than me!  So was it random??  Never will know.

Back in the day, I remember camping out all night at a department store to be first in line to buy concert tickets.  Then they went to a lottery system so that it didn't matter who was in line first -- you got your raffle tickets, they pulled a number, we started from that number, and that was that.

But...we actually SAW the raffle tickets in those days....
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale :: 21 June on: June 21, 2017, 01:24:40 PM
The Tokens are intended to be used solely within the Ecosystem and the Company will
not support or otherwise facilitate any secondary trading or external valuation of Tokens. This
restricts the contemplated avenues for using Tokens to the provision or receipt of Services, and
could therefore create illiquidity risk with respect to any Tokens you own. Even if secondary
trading of Tokens is facilitated by third-party exchanges, such exchanges may be relatively new
and subject to little or no regulatory oversight, making them more susceptible to fraud or
manipulation. Furthermore, to the extent that third parties do ascribe an external exchange value
to Tokens (e.g., as denominated in a digital or fiat currency), such value may be extremely
volatile and diminish to zero.

No one is worried about this?

My understanding is this is Civic's way of removing liability in case your tokens become worthless in the markets.  They aren't going to facilitate or get involved with secondary trading -- that is a risk that we all take by investing and trading.  They are also making it clear that some exchanges can be susceptible to fraud.  I read it as them removing liability from themselves.

Got about 450k at 170 and wanting to get another 550k -- BUT at what price?

Do you think it will come back down under 200?  Or just buy now to stockpile while I can??  (currently at 214 as I type).

New to this world, but doing a lot of research -- just need to work on my timing now.

Thanks for help.
