The SEC will soon be shutting down scam sites like this and Bitconnect. Anyone that invests in these scams will also be held liable for all the funds they stole! Good luck...you will need it!
the FUD is real even here! good luck to you man you keep spreading this crap everywhere.. awesome It's not unheard of for the SEC to take action on crypto sites and alts, though clearly hes delusional to think investors are on the hook for anything.

Also a reason eth gained more value over etc as time passed...etc devs were/are weak compared to eth devs.
The question is: Are there any competent Bitcoin Cash Devs? I see only a few and a lot of noisy Bitcoin Core devs on Twitter. I think this is the only important issue in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Zero devs = zero value. Thats exactly what i/we need to find out lol Bitcoin devs do not get paid so it is not quite the same as with most altcoins. I wouldn't necessarily say it means zero value though. But to answer your question Bitcoin cash does have several devs but I question their competency as they do not seem to adequately test their code which always shows up full of bugs. Whether it has value though will ultimately come down to whether you support their idea or not, and so far it seems the vast majority of the community do not.

There is no easy guide, but there are some ways you can invest in a wide range of good coins without needing to choose them yourself. I would suggest Iconomi (availabe on kraken) because you are in essence investing in their portfolio of coins rather than any specific coin you would need to research yourself.

Question: Why the need for this other coin? I'm no programmer but, couldn't they alter bitcoin itself to be able to keep up with the newer demands?
It's because bitcoin updates requires agreement by virtually 100% of the community and bigger blocks is something people have been arguing about for something like 2 years. A faction in the bitcoin community thus decided to break off from the main bitcoin chain and start their own version instead. Segwit is a competiting solution to processing more transactions and one which bitcoin cash people do not agree with.

Thanks. right now, there is no answer from viaBTC.
I'm really worried. I will talk about changes.
Anyone with similar problems with me?
They may be having technical difficulties, I haven't heard of anyone with this problem. I suggest waiting for their answer and keep us updated. It may take a day or two to get an answer though depending on their support.

Exchanges with 2FA are much safer than your average user. If you are paranoid and security conscious then sure you are better off with the coins on your own wallet but for the 99% of people an exchange with 2FA is much safer and bittrex has a very good track record, don't compare them to btc-e.

i've been hearing a lot about something called Ethereum these days . if you know any informations about Ethereum please comment it so i can know more about it . and is it true that he threatens the existance of bitcoin ?
Ethereum is an altcoin which is one of the rivals of bitcoin. Compared to bitcoin, ethereum has a lower value. Just like bitcoin, it is used in different transactions in the internet. Also, it is used by application developers to pay transactions fees and services in ethereum network. So, ethereum is a cryptocurrency just like bitcoin but has a lower value but some miners work to earn this and not bitcoin. A lot of people compare the 2 but I don't think they are really direct competitors. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies and ethereum is the king of smartcontracts, app based development and ICOs.

Is the presale of chronologic still ongoing ?
If interested send a private message to either me or justmint (original poster) for more details on the specifics. Or even better if you PM "eric-chronologic" in slack. Is this going on any exchanges after ICO is complete? It can be a popular project if exchanges will list them.
Yes, we are in talks with exchanges, it will be announced once listing actually happens. Alright thanks will do

I think that best cryptocurrency right now is to wait to bitcoin price fall down to less than 100$ and then buy it and when it reach price with which you will be happy you are rich and you dont need to have worries again about trading.
I would love if it dropped that much so I can scoop up a bunch but I think it will never happen.

People will see the fork risks is all FUD and bitcoin will hit a new all time high again sometime in August or September.

I think Vitalik is already rich enough that he doesn't care about the day to day price.
|
|
|
Is this coin going to be a get NEVERDIE rich scheme like everything else he has done in Entropia Universe or is he planning to develop this one properly?
|
|
|
People will see segwit activated and no chance of any real fork happening and the price will go to a new all time high.

I would take out loans to the max if bitcoin dropped that low because I know it wouldn't last long. I think there are enough people similar to me that it will never actually get there.

This project is really good. They focus on developing projects and supporting hacked people. I think they are not as greedy as other ICO projects. They stop selling tokens when there are many security risks and this is absolutely true
That is a good point, when they had enough coins in the crowd fund they stopped the process to safe guard the earlier investors because they were heavily under attack, sure they are not greedy like some of the projects we have seen in the past, expecting to hear more news from them. And that's how you know a project isn't out to scam people.

ICO is often the best way to flip a coin, but these days the number of flippers outnumber the true investors so the price tends to go below ICO. In other words it won't usually make a big difference if u invest during ICO or shortly after.

Imagine you own a rock that is worth $2,500. A few days later the same rock is valued at $1,800. It is clear the value of your holdings has decreased. I don't see what's "irrelevent" about that. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Its not irrelevant, people just want to rationalize that they aren't really losing as much money as they really are.
