1  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin vs Agriculture on: May 08, 2021, 05:09:22 PM
Bitcoin is just money. The only comparation or correlation between agriculture and bitcoin I could think about is the same when we talk about fiat and agriculture: you work as a farmer, grow your crops, sell it and are paid. So you use part of your payment to re-invest in the land and keep this cycle of work going on. You could do the same with bitcoin, instead of using fiat. Actually I think that is all and the same is valid for any other profession.

I agree. You have to grow what you planted. In agriculture, sometimes you have to risk and believe that the seed you buy have to germinate 100% to avoid loss. While in bitcoin,  you are 100% sure that it is legit and what you have to do is make sure that you trade for the right time. Both are giving you profit when you take good care of them in your hands. In agriculture, you make sure to have harvest everyday to eat while bitcoin can be hold when it doesnt grow for the moment.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My feelings after 11 years with crypto. on: May 07, 2021, 12:47:20 PM
You are not alone.  I have heard similar stories from others. They sold their BTC too early. I also have a story of 7 years of cryptocurrency. I have used BTC as a payment method a lot of the time and I caught some BTC, which was earned from buying / selling digital products.  However, I spent BTC at that time. I could have made a lot of money if I had kept BTC.

If you've been in the space for as long as you say you have then it's quite weird to hear you say you've used it and look back and say you should have kept it.

Newbies tend to say it but we all know that if we don't use it and everyone just holds, BTC would never go up in value. You've been through 2 past rallies and now in third. Surely not the time for regret?

I think whatever changes on the value of BTC, there is always a regret and we mostly rant about it. When it is down, you regret not to sell when it has higher value but never try to buy some when it happened, then you gonna regret again when the price got higher but you dont not have any investment from it.
Every situation is an opportunity rather than regretting it, take it. Buy when you have to hold, then sell when you think you already have profit. Take risk, play the market.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: How is it supposed to be alt coin season after bitcoin falls? on: April 21, 2021, 01:26:51 AM
Not yet ended for bitcoin. If it does, there's more to this correction and it would be brutal and many will not going to like it and will have a thought that it's the end for cryptocurrencies.

I really feel like we've hit the market cycle top earlier than expected tbh
Maybe but maybe not too. Just wait until the market starts to drop or if it's really the peak that we've reached. If not, bitcoin will eventually recover and would hit back again $60k.

Market fluctuates and everything is affected. Bitcoin drops does not mean it will continue to drop and wont hike gain, when this happens, maybe crypto world will vanish. Maybe altcoin season will now get higher price for those potential coins because it is the opportunity to altcoin to gain more value while bitcoin is dropping. Take this time as an opportunity to buy bitcoin because this is always the best coin and even institutions investing on it.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 20, 2021, 10:16:12 PM
If that's a problem for you, then simply don't buy in the bull market, unless for short-term speculating, and accumulate coins during bear market. A lot of investors who joined in bull run are likely going to take profit during the run, instead of hodling for years and experience a crash like in the past. Risk and opportunity always go hand in hand, the point of investing is to find investments that have more opportunities than risks.
I agree. Buying in bull market is not good decision to when you dont see opportunities on what you invest. Price has pump and drop and even year way back, the market is the same the best thing to do is to hold since many institutions are also in bitcoin which is an opportunity that it wont stay there. Market price will be more better. Opportunist takes opportunity but risk takers stays on what they have and take chances to add more while in drops situation.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange tokens all the way on: April 19, 2021, 10:06:48 PM
you can buy coin exchange with large capitalization market like binance coin, huobi token or okb from okex.
but there are still many exchange token out there but i wouln't recomended that because to risky choose another token than i mentioned earlier.
Choosing strong coin is best decision. Those exchange coin will give good return and the risk to lost value is little since those exchanges are being use and many token are listed on it. I agree that if your going to invest in altcoin, invest on exchange token, which is popular to the trader because it will always standout on the market. Binance exchange s one of the trusted exchange all through out it is launch.
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling down. Is it the end for it? on: April 19, 2021, 09:38:00 AM
The last few months of solid growth have instilled confidence that Bitcoin is unstoppable. Each time Bitcoin updated its maximum and even managed to get close to the $60,000 mark. However, then its price fell sharply in a few days and for many investors it came as a shock… for some reason.

Is it really the end of the Bitcoin rally or it’s just a pause before another storm? Let’s try to figure it out.
Think about it. Has BTC done this before - YES. Has there been a strong recovery -YES.

With such a strong rally of reaching a new ATH, seeing a small drop is only natural.

The growth is still on the way, and for those who believe in BTC would think this is a good opportunity to jump in and buy.

The point is that what we see today is normal and it's likely a sign of a strong rally.
I agree. It is not all the time hike, sometimes the price dump which an opportunity to other to invest and buy to join in the trend. There is always price fluctuation specially when the volume of the coin in the market has large changes.  Bitcoin will pump and dump the reason you have to be a good player and make predictions to gain from that situation.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tenants to pay rent with bitcoin on: April 18, 2021, 11:48:52 AM
The indicator of mass adoption is, for example, the announcement of the owner of airbnb about the beginning of the adoption of cryptocurrencies as payment for rent, and this is not particularly significant news, but still has a positive effect on the crypto market as a whole.
These is good that adoption is really happening, there are many ways to use it now and to get access of it, however at these time that price of BTC is rising and is too volatile. I will intend to just invest my money or keep it still as crypto investment than using it, when the price seems too be much more stable in the future and adoption becomes more bigger many industries will use and implement it like a fiat that's the only time to spend it.
For me it is okay to use bitcoin to pay rent because the higher the price of bitcoin, the lower volume it gives. Yes, it has high value and tend to hike even more but also it will drop in time. It is best to use bitcoin like fiat as it is more safe and fast transactions. Time will come where employees going to receive crypto as salary either. Using bitcoin make the demand for it to get higher value.
9  Economy / Economics / Re: What's Next? After Bitcoin Passes The 60K Mark...... on: April 17, 2021, 01:00:31 PM
Is bitcoin for speculation only?   or it is really useful in our daily life?  just curious..  What product can we buy by using bitcoin only...   how many Merchant accepting bitcoin?   is it a huge number?   what do you think?
To be honest there are many store actually accepting bitcoin as a payment well if you really want to build an store then you can accept bitcoin as a payment too here in my country most of restaurant are accepting bitcoin nowadays because most of people are using bitcoin and now openly good for the government and one of the senator in my country already created an alternative coin where he can say that if this coin are into the market and earn more than it's invested he actually donated it into the poor people. But most of them are into bitcoin industry already.
People allow to use cashless bill to pay in some store, though mostly use centralized currency, you may not know how many of them having invested with decentralized currency and make them an asset and gain profit . Bitcoin is being popular again when it started to bull gain in the market. Many get interested, we do not know if even the government aware and using it to even for there own gain. Crypto is making noise and being known anywhere everywhere, and that makes the price hike.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: April 17, 2021, 06:02:00 AM
The world is fortunate to have a vaccine against the epidemic of covid19. Hopefully we will stop this dangerous spread. People will no longer have to practice social isolation. All jobs will go into normal operation, the economy will be stable, the crypto market will also be stable. I believe Bitcoin will go up in value in the near future.
Because of pandemic, many are getting interest earning crypto. The large number of investors makes the market bull, staying at home makes them capable to earn more especially those who have some amount to risk. Covid 19 is dangerous but gain positive impact in decentralized economy where we get and support our financial need. Bitcoin made it reach the predictions way back 2 years ago. The pandemic wont make are life in worst but opportunities are there also being left.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Elon Musk invest in Cardano? on: March 16, 2021, 11:58:47 AM
Nope, I visited his twitter account and I don't see he shilling ADA so it's a fake news. Maybe you really saw a post that he will invest ADA but a fake Elon Musk account, you better double check the account just to be sure if he is real. If Elon Musk shilling ADA it's another mooning for sure.
Maybe that news is just made as bait. Having a big man holding such coin will make other investors to see opportunity on the same. That is big chance that the coin will reach a good price if it is possible that he invest on the coin since Elon Musk is popular all over the world.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know the difference between Bitcoin and bitcoin? on: November 17, 2020, 10:37:01 AM
Yes I know Bitcoin and bitcoin difference but it does not matter unless you like to really specify the right use of grammar. Here in our place where English is not our primary language, most or all people I know here does not matter when it comes to using the right word. Bitcoin is a noun and that itself could be use to name the system.while.bitcoin is a system unit wherein the smallest unit is satoshi.
I just do not pay attention between the difference of the two in writing. It depends on the usage of bitcoin, as a currency or blockchain. What matter is how to work on it to gain and earn it, then use it on the market or any transactions.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I accept Bitcoin for payments on my online store? on: November 05, 2020, 03:03:04 PM

I think the only risk in accepting crypto as a payment method is the volatility but if you would convert it into Fiat right away then there wouldn't be a problem.
But you should also consider the transaction fee's and the delay of transaction.
I think you shouldn't really worry about it since it is just going to be an option on your online store you could also add more option for them.

He can accept other crypto like XRP where volatility and tx fee is not much of a prob. Some consumers will be hesitant to use bitcoin because of the relatively expensive fee that they need to pay on top of the price of the goods. But bitcoin is a start, to see if some of his clients will try paying btc. And if they ask for alternatives, then XRP is a good one or maybe doge. Anyway, he can always exchange these 2 alts to a lot of exchanges if he wants to.

This might help to add more option of crypto than only accept bitcoin, also have different other option of payment because not all are familiar or ready to risk buying with bitcoin because of the fee. You can accept bitcoin but always remember the volatility of it.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Loan to buy Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2020, 08:21:06 PM
You're right. It is always good to risk your own money than borrowed money. I experienced personally in my life. I had little amount of bitcoin in my wallet, but I took loan to fulfill some home needs considering there'll be growth with bitcoin. My prediction went wrong and now I'm in debt paying interest. If I've sold at the right time I could've avoided debt.

I have a same experience like you. I took money from my close friend to buy bitcoin with 20% interest. But after 1month my btc was down and I had to pay him the money from my own pocket and also the interest. A bad experience. -_-
That is the reason why it is better to earn bitcoin than taking the risk to invest in bitcoin. Price is unpredictable. Invest from your own pocket which you can afford to lose. Loaning is not a good idea but a headache, if you can earn it, work for it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why New Crypto Projects are Dump ? on: November 04, 2020, 07:17:24 PM
It's very normal cause even 90% of living projects out there are garbage. Very few quality projects showed up in the last couple of years. And if you look into recent projects, most of them took DeFi hype's advantages, pumped after listing and then dumped to hell. That's how this market works. Put your money on BTC and you will have less concern.

Unfortunately, even the most-trusted altcoins are doing not well now. The crypto market picture looks a bit strange this autumn. If Bitcoin is mainly climbing up, other coins (with a few exceptions) are rolling lower and lower. I cannot find the reason for it.
That is how crypto works. Sudden high and then dump because that there are token earner who sells immediately after the coin is listed so the volume in the market gets higher and small number of investor takes opportunity to buy the coin. That is normal in the market especially if the coin did not gain popularity.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: October 25, 2020, 04:03:50 AM
Market was really huge so there's a lot of projects that market may offer to the people planning to invest. But to find a good projects that may benefits you, you need to analyze and understand the project from its point of view so that you know how potential the project is.
There really have lots of projects that is being promoted in different platforms and deep research is need to find out if it is better or not. Sometimes it matters where you find the project because you can see the potential based on the background of the handler of the  project and how reliable the roadmap of it.  Projects here are posted at announcement, bitcoin services, and bounties
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: October 23, 2020, 12:45:34 PM
you can't compare ethereum over bitcoin they have different functions this has been the debate over the years, at the same time like everyone said no one is bigger than bitcoin, it's been years where altcoins are trying to overtake bitcoin, they are always second place.
I agree. They are different coin and no altcoin can bypass the value of bitcoin. Sometimes price varies each other and there is that fluctuates depends on the other. Years passed and getting the highest value from bitcoin is a dream the reason why, always believe  investing on bitcoin. This wont lose the value.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some of the benefits of Bitcoin ... on: October 23, 2020, 04:20:44 AM
To be honest bitcoin is not that easy to handle, to think the transaction fee is a bit higher to spend small amount for online shopping. But the advantage of using it privately is completely solid since no names, birthday or whatsoever information needed from sender and receiver.
Also transaction is irreversible, which make you accountable on every process you take. Bitcoin mostly used for investment rather than spending specially if transaction fee is expensive for the purchase. Bitcoin seems to be high again which we may keep till it happen and get profit.
20  Other / Meta / Re: Proof of Authentication Posts are life savings on this forum on: October 22, 2020, 09:11:55 PM
I totally agree with you about the Proof of Authentication post, definitely needed on every single bounty program since it will verify our participation on the bounty program, avoiding people to use our detail information since they will be consider as duplicate and cheaters. The majority of those cheaters are a Newbie Rank in this forum, I hope bounty project will start consider to excluded Newbie Rank in their bounty.

There are times that newbie cannot be excluded in bounty, except in signature that requires jr member atleast, because even the campaign manager has the same rank. I used to get away from the bounty that almost newbie participates. Proof of authentication really helps to protect our own information and not let anybody to get opportunity to scam.
