1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why the GPUs got sold out again in 2018? on: January 23, 2018, 05:51:57 PM
Yeah but no one will bother with 4$ per Day, considering u can't use ur PC anymore.
Having separate rig maybe is worth to mine then. But for example now 980Ti is around 400Eur, so 82.91Eur per month is not really worth it, that's almost 5 months to get back the $ from the investment for GPU's and also when buying used GPU you never know if the GPU was taken out of the oven ( a trick to revive dead gpu for short period of time ), then the GPU could die and u end up in a huge loss.

1080Ti prices went up like up to 1800EUR  ( 1000e for used ) and it's around 120eur per month ( almost a year to get back the investment and again the question if its gonna last that year )..

I think instead of investing for mining hw better idea would be invest into crypto trading, faster and risk is nearly the same.

Because current GPU mining profits is very low, except for the millionaires who has like hundreds or thousands of 1080Ti's and other similar cards ( like these rich chinese guys ).

Hello, i understand why all GPU was grabbed off the shelves in ~mid of 2017, but why now? 1070 is almost 1000USD now..

I don't get it, the profits from GPU mining are getting lower and lower. In 2017 i've been able to make around 8USD/24h. Now all i can do max is around 3USD.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Best coin to Mine with Nvidia ( Maxwell - 980Ti ) ? Besides ZCash on: January 23, 2018, 03:37:59 PM
Hello guys, i was wondering if there's any coin worth mining with 1x 980Ti ?
Currently i am trying ETN, having only 246h/s ( around 7ETH/Day ) which is very low considering that ETN possibly will reach like 2$ in 2 years which is 14$ per day so totally not worth it ruining the card ( i could use it instead for my CGI practice or gaming )

Any good suggestions or i should just stay away from mining? Basically im looking for something that is currently below 1$ and has potential to go up to 100$ this year or next year. I know WAX will, but it's Token so :/
4  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Pool vs Cloud Mining on: June 20, 2017, 11:30:58 AM
Hey guys, what's the difference between Pool and Cloud mining ? I hear many ppl saying like "Cloud mining is not worth it" etc, but they still are using pools which is exactly the same as cloud ( many people mines together and shares based on their performance ).

What is the power consumption for these hashes/settings?

Totally no idea haha, GPU-Z doesn't show the Watts anymore, not sure why GPU-Z doesn't show my wattage, also i do not have anything to test the full PC wattage.
But the TDP at 75C limit is 53.1% and GPU itself is 1.012V so i guess it uses around 130W and rest of pc components such as CPU/SSD/HDD and all the stuff uses around 120W.

I am also surprised that with this miner my desktop doesn't keep freezing like all other miners.
