Yeah everyone's on the bandwagon now.

I've got a friend who's just bought a mining computer from America.

That shows how big bitcoin is.

I didn't even think that any of my friends would ever hear of bitcoins let alone mine!!

Yeah it's pretty annoying having to wait...

It isn't environmentally responsible in my opinion but there are so many other, much bigger, environmental problems in the world that I'd start there rather than mining bitcoins.

I do agree though. In an ideal world we wouldn't need to mine them.

Mtgox trades on trust so I presume it's safe. If stories started coming out about people being ripped off then it would lose all of it's business extremely fast.
