Still no word on this yet? No, I didn't receive notification from Avalon yet. First batch from Zefir was ordered on April 16th but I hope we don't have to wait 14 days before ours ship. Will keep you updated.
The silence from Avalon is getting really embarrassing. Only one batch has been shipped AFAIK.

Do you need boards to go with your chips?
Thanks for the suggestion. We are currently offering a limited amount of boards based on Burnin's design (assembly will be done by Burnin in Germany), but we still have some chips available from our batch if you want to offer boards based on K1 / K16 design.

Ok im cancel this auction here, asicme.com made me an offer per pm which i would like to accept.
Perhaps you can let asicme.com make a bid in this thread, this is an auction after all? Seems not so fair to cancel the auction before it is ended.

According to your claimed order date you are in week 9. According to the payment date it's week 8. Which is it? Where are your sample chips??
Payment was completed on April 30th, so week 8. Sample chips arrived last week.

To make people here trust you more, you can: - Provide the transaction ID you issued to buy the chips from avalon, so that we can see that you really bought. - Sign this thread's URL with the sender address of that transaction.
Btw, not being able to do so might cause people to think that this is a scam.
Ok, tnx for the suggestion: - Link to transaction on blockchain: https://blockchain.info/address/1J76jfDhJKPxNzKiQ6sU3xy32Q9kjdTeU (payment was done from several addresses, I'm using the first one 16PogsBAz3uqnmMG65NnnPQq3Jxe6qN5G1 for verification but I can sign all addresses if needed). - Signing this threads URL: Address: 16PogsBAz3uqnmMG65NnnPQq3Jxe6qN5G1 Message: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=184750Signature: H6CGhMR6TYUkcnY/pkeXB+oLJZ5/lpTbLgycltGof7fb6lMrti61am/Fuk/RsuL7hEsK2Z60OrMgM5a399b5p9Q=

Updated the list with links to project announcement or website. Anyone knows if Avalon or AsicMiner are working on a new chip? Bitmine is also stating to be working on a new generation ASIC chip, anyone got more information on that ( http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=29)?

Many projects are popping up recently announcing new ASIC chip development. So I'm trying to figure out who is out there designing new chips and what are the chip specifications (Hashrate/powerconsumption) and timeframe. So far I could come up with this list: The list is probably far from complete, so appreciate additional input/information.

Is we exchange having issues for anyone else? Usually sees my deposits and credits them within 6 confirmations. Been over 9 now and no sign of my deposit?
Support ticket opened, just wondering if it's a site wide/bitcoin issue, or just my account?
I have the exact same problem. I have 13 confirmations, but no sign of my deposit. I have also opened a ticket for this problem. Also have the same problem, deposited to the address linked to my account, but even after +80 confirmations BTC doesn't show up in my WeExchange account (I've done 2 deposits before and those were available in my account after 6 confirmations ). Opened a ticket as well. Update: funds received, took about 20h to get deposited into account.

Just some rough calculation:
If AsicMiner can hold about 10% of marketshare (where marketshare = Total Hashpower of Bitcoin network). At this marketrate, it would mine about 131,400 BTC per year (Total amount of BTC mined by network is 25 BTC every 10 minutes -> 1,314,000 BTC/Year).
So for the next four years, weekly dividend would be around 0.00631731 BTC/share or 0,3285 BTC/year/share ( = 131,400 BTC/year / 400,000 shares).
At the current rate of 1.2 BTC per share, this would mean a yearly ROI of 27%. This calculation does not include the amount reserved by AsicMiner to reïnvest in new hardware etc, so ROI would probably be less and also greatly dependent on marketshare.

Dude,
Right now everyone is on the group buy in a way or another. You are a bit late. But when chips show up and we see that there are options and working reference designs which can be manufactured, we would like to order more chips. In order to avoid 10 weeks waiting for new group orders you will be the one to serve us. You are following right? I do have my order with zefir already. I do not have more BTC to spend, but when time comes i will have some. What i want to do is to buy them now and have them tomorrow. Here is the place for you in my opinion.
Best
Thank's for your view! I'll see if I can stack up some more BTC as to provide chip liquidity in the future.
