My operating system:
Win 10 x64
GPU: AMD 480 8gb as in this picture
video driver: Adrenalin 2020 ver. 20.4.2
Miner: lolMiner 1.6

without making any changes "lolMiner 1.6" gives me 22.23 MH/s on ETH.
All right for this GPU? Or can I do something to get better performance?

1-changes straps to increase performance

2-Flash card

look it up on youtube before doing it it could be tricky and scary the first time you do it

also make sure you are on compute mode...

Are there options to allow for fan control and also any to limit mining intensity when a set temp is reached?

+1

yes similar to claymore example ... -tt 68 -ttli 85 -tstop 95

Hmm... I tried and it didn't work. I'll give it another shot.

Did those arguments work for you?

No but I was simply stating that YES it would be nice to have something similar to what Claymore had as far as temperature settings...

tks Dok

Hi

If I care more about stability than hashrate would it be better not to run the boost on administrator mode?

Or regardless it wont matter and it's more a question on card OC settings and malfunction of HW.

Thanks

If you find the right value for a GPU then running boost shouldn't have any impact on stability of the card.

Anyone knows if we still have to mix drivers or AMD fixed the issue with the new 17.7.2 versions on windows 10 in order to used 6+ gpus on the rx 500 series

Check you PAGE file size - it should be more than 16000 MBs. Keep minimum 16000 MBs and maximum 20000 MBs. A majority of the miners rely on virtual mem to keep the process quick and it requires a good amount of size allocation.

How can you do this on Ubuntu 16.04.2 ?

Hi

I was wondering if you solved your issue? Because i am having exactly the same problem with one of my rigs. My rig stops mining after 12 hours and it says cl error 61  cannot allocate big buffer for DAG. I need to reboot the rig to start minning for an other 12 hours.
