1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~1600 Gh/s Mining Pool] _0% FEE_, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 01, 2011, 07:18:59 PM
Some users are still experiencing those connections problems.
I'm aware or this problem and taking appropriate actions. I'll post a special notice when it will be fixed.
I think that the problem comes from the server's name:

23   190 ms   190 ms   190 ms  . [72.8.190.23]

This "." might be difficult to resolve or it just gets filtered by some networks as invalid host name.

Is there someone who still can't reach the website ?
Neither client connects nor page loads from home (46.40.126.x) while deepbit.net is loading fine from work (different internet provider). Mozilla says "connecting to deepbit.net" when I try to load the page and "server timed out" afterwards.

It was 9 hops several days ago when I traced, now it is 23 hops:

3  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: 4 Card Motherboard on: April 25, 2011, 08:24:41 PM
So I'm new here, but just wanted to say Hi!

My question is, are there any confirmed 4 card systems out there?

What motherboards are they using? Cards and Power Supplies?

I'm looking at a 4 card system and right now I think 5850's are the most economical because I'm pretty sure I can get 4 of them on one PSU. They're relatively energy efficient and the Cost/MHash is incredibly low.

Apologies if I'm not scouring the forums well enough before asking this. TONS of good information here.

Oh, and is there a thread on vladimir's setup anywhere?

Thanks!

Jorge

Any idea whether this would lighten the work loads on pool servers too?

I see increased number of rejected units, probably because current work is not being dropped but reported to server and rejected, happens right after long pool message

I'm not seeing any increase since I've been running it. Perhaps it is work that is submitted right before LP is checked so it's rejected by the server because of new data?
That happens to me every time after the LP message and I get even 2 rejected results every now and then. Roughly 4% rejected results. I've tried to attach an image but the server says some folder is full or probably attaching files is forbidden but here it is on Imageshack:
