switched to your specific  Raspbian Wheezy Setup Bfgminer build and still only getting 2.3GH

Look like these are performing 20% lower than spec.
Can you please try minepeon 0.2.4 on your raspberry pi. Arch is a lot better then raspbian. Also how is it connected up is it directly connected to the raspi?

I'm running only two of them in a D-Link Hi-Speed USB 2.0 7-Port Powered Hub (DUB-H7) and 1 raspberry Pi as controller

I tried minepeon 0.2.4 and that's where i was getting the 60% error rates on bfgminer, could not get them to even recognize on cgminer under minepeon 0.2.4.

Received mine today they are hashing but with horrible error rates 58%+ and only hashing at 2.3GH

    bfgminer3.4.0

For now I would recommend everyone use cgminer or our version of bfgminer 3.0.99 until we fix it. I have been communicating with Luke and we are working out the issues.

14  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: August 19, 2013, 11:58:42 PM
Now that I'm using (officially) the 0.2.3 version of MinePeon, hopefully for the next few months without need of saving a new full version to another SD, I do need some help, to automate the start of the LCD python2 cgminerLCDStats.py program.

I usually do the following commands, after a RPI reboot/restart and connecting to the RPI via PuTTY:

Quote
screen -S LCD
cd cgminerLCDStats
sudo python2 cgminerLCDStats.py
CTRL A + D

How can I automate it? Please don't forget I'm less than a noobie @ Linux. I don't know Linux! I'm a pure donkey...

I too want to know how to automate this..
screen -S LCD Helped me Thanks!!

I saw on this forum somewhere an image of a mining rig with an LCD display showing its vital stats. Can this be done with MinePeon? Are there instructions anywhere?
As cardcomm mentioned in this thread
https://github.com/cardcomm/cgminerLCDStats/blob/master/MinePeon%20Install.md

I get his error when i run

Make sure we have all the latest MinePeon packages:
cd /opt/minepeon/
git pull

I contacted the guy about stock on samsungstore@tormail.org and he didnt have what I wanted but had something similar. I sent a few emails back and forth getting the specs right and ended up sending about $300 in BTC. It all seemed legit - why say he didnt have what i wanted if he was a scammer? etc

No to sound condescending but you learned a valuable lesson and it only cost you $300.00. It could have been much worse!!!!

FTC is pretty clear on this, if you don't contact customers every 30 day and ask for another 30 days to ship them the product, you have to issue a refund.
Just because you put All sales are final and no refunds means nothing.

BFL's shipment representation is not clear and conspicuous. "2 months or MORE"

Business Guide to the FTC's Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule

What Does the Rule Cover?

It applies to most goods a customer orders from the seller by mail, telephone, fax, or on the Internet.

What You Should Know Before You Make a Shipment Representation
Business Guide to the FTC's Mail or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule | BCP Business Center

The evidence you need to demonstrate the reasonableness of your shipment representations varies with circumstances. The following, however, is important:

Anticipated demand. Is the demand for each advertised item reasonably anticipated?
Supply. For each advertised item, is there a sufficient inventory on hand or adequate sources of supply to meet the anticipated demand for the product?
Fulfillment system. For all promotions in the relevant sales seasons, can the fulfillment system handle the cumulative anticipated demand for all products?
Recordkeeping. Are adequate records kept of the key events (see section headed "Why You Should Keep Records" for a list of key events) in each individual transaction to ensure that items can be shipped within the applicable time, as established by the Rule?

Remember: Whether you make a shipment representation or rely on the 30-day rule, your advertising should be unambiguous about when you will ship.
