merit can be increased by the quality of your post. if your contents are good anyone from bitcoin talk can reward you smerits. but here the problem is not everyone practice it. they dont even know smerits wont affects their merits.

keeping you money on exchange is not safe. I would suggest you to look for offline wallets or personal wallets. as these days hacking is very common in exchanges

bitcoin is a digital currency. it doesn't exist in physical form. if someone is telling you its telling you wrong BTC only exist electronically
