1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Name your TOP 3 altcoins! on: May 16, 2013, 09:19:15 PM
1. BTB Has possibilities to form to a currency that some people want to keep (no dump and pump). In that case not too many people are needed to keep the value. Also is not valued too high at the moment.
    Total money supply: 2967 coins vs. FeatherCoin 6563400 coins
    Monetary base value in BTC:  BTB = 2967 * 0.41 BTC =  1216,47 BTC
                                            FTC = 6563400 * 0.001 = 6563,4 BTC
2. Litecoin.

Possible runner-up's:
3. WDC, might have some possibilities.
4. BitGem, who knows what this will be but still might be possible. Still no pools, nothing else than coin?? Might fall because of these factors.

Yes, mining price will set the bottom in the long run.
Therefore alt coins will hava some value too, but how mush is another question.

I use Linux but compiling coin daemon for solo might be some task.
For example in JunkCoin it didn't work but it might have been that that was only for junk os like windows Smiley
