1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Unichange.me - buy and sell BTC-e USD codes,Perfect Money,EgoPay,ePayments,etc on: July 12, 2017, 08:12:21 PM
Is it possible to purchase s/w services at Google Play with Unichange?  Not sure, because they're a US-based company and from what I understand, cards can't be used there.....

Every new card holder has unverified status in card issuer system. Maximum amount you can withdraw to your card as unverified card holder is 2400 per lifetime.
Maximum amount you can withdraw from your card in ATM with unverified card account is 1000 USD.

Can you please tell me if these limits are still good?  I've rules governing this have been changed recently.  It looks like it says that max lifetime load is only $240 and max ATM withdrawl is $100 on unverified cards.  Also, if limits have been lowered, do you just apply for another unverified card?

6  Economy / Services / Help with a vanilla subscription membership purchase on: June 20, 2017, 11:45:27 PM
Hi,

I need someone's help to broker a purchase of an annual vanilla subscription online membership.  They only take PayPal and actual credit cards (not prepaid debit cards).  There used to be a member here (Bitcoin Valet) who offered a buying service, but he's been inactive for a while.  Even so, I'm not sure how this would work.  Using an escrow would give me a higher comfort level.

Hopefully a trusted member can help me out or someone can at least point me in the right direction.

Tx,

I think not verified cards will become more cost-effective, because the new legislation has come
Today I have received this from cryptopay:

The 4th EU Money Laundering Directive (4MLD) that will take action on 26 June, 2017. In line with this document, starting from 26th of June, all limits for unverified clients will change in accordance with the government regulators’ guidelines:

The maximum load for an unverified cardholder across all cards will be reduced from € 2,500 to €250.
The maximum unload through point of sale transaction and ATM withdrawal for an unverified cardholder across all cards will be restricted to €100.

To summarize, to be able to load more than €250 or to exceed the spending limit of €100, the cardholder has to be verified.

This would mean that it is impossible to raise the amounts as before, and if we consider how much the card issue costs,  10% is just the cost of making and sending the card to the user now how much money you will be able to raise and spend on it.

Yes, it really seems like it will be pointless to get the $250 unverified cards if they have a $250 max lifetime load.  My gosh, I could go thru them at least once or twice a week!  Has anyone seen a statement from any of the companies that issue them with the newly imposed limits?

Wow, TravisH, thanks for letting me know.  I've made a few very small trades but will be extremely cautious.  Have you found a reasonable replacement for getting btc-e codes?  That's what I signed up with the for, as everyone else wanted a verified account....

Not in EU -- looks like they don't accept recurring charges.  PayPal won't work -- wanna stay under the radar with this one (hence the prepaid cc).
10  Economy / Service Discussion / Payment recommendation for membership site on: June 18, 2017, 02:27:26 PM
I've been having a very difficult time try to get an account registered with a membership site using an unverified prepaid card.  I want to do this with anonymous payment method for reasons of privacy.  They only take regular cc's and PayPal.

Guess that prepaid cards don't work with recurring charge payments, no AVS, etc.  Any ideas or suggestions?  Gotta get this done soon -- been wasting too much time already spinning my wheels looking for a solution...

Any suggestions of an unverified card that will be accepted for recurring/membership charges?  I'm having a heck of a time with Lavapay's Visa Virtuon and don't want to have to waste any more money unless I'm *sure* it's going to work...

It is going to work but make sure a small excess of money is going to be in the card at the expected time of the transaction. The card service might be getting a monthly fee and this might make it so your card doesn't have enough balance, especially if the charge is automatic.

Sorry, but it didn't work.  Not sure what Vimeo if using AVS, but Visa Virtuon miserably failed the test.

Any other suggestions for an unverified card (or other mechanism) that would work for a membership site like Vimeo?  They take PayPal, but that's a whole 'nuther can of worms.

I sent support a message  and apparently, they DID try to issue a refund.  However, my wallet address had changed in between the time I sent the message and when they issued the refund.  So, I guess now it's just bouncing around the bitbucket in the sky -- my fault.

Sent support another message & I'm crossing my fingers they'll be able to do something about this.   Huh
14  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ✰ [ANN] BITMIXER.IO ✰ High Volume Bitcoin Mixer ✰ on: June 16, 2017, 07:50:10 PM
I absentmindedly sent .005 btc thru the mixer instead of .05.  Didn't even notice the error message "0.005 BTC will be returned / minimum for mixing is .01".  However, it still generated an address to the money to.  In my haste, I sent out .005 to the address given.

Well, after 6 confirmations my coins didn't end up where I sent them, nor were they refunded.  It looks like they went to the forwarding address generated by the mixer.

Is there any hope for getting my coins back?  Even though it wasn't the minimum, I would really like to see them in my wallet where they belong.  All info sent to the mod by pm.

Before they're all gone, could I please get a voucher, too?

Good to hear on both accounts!   Cheesy
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Btc-e.com: BTC -> BTC-E code unverified account? on: June 12, 2017, 03:38:01 PM
Ummm, do you have to wait a period of time before you're able to withdraw those funds?  I'm hoping it's just because I have a new account and this is my first trade...
18  Economy / Exchanges / Btc-e.com: BTC -> BTC-E code unverified account? on: June 12, 2017, 03:23:35 PM
I have an unverified account on BTC-E.com (and prefer to keep it that way).  My question is:  if I deposit BTC, can I still withdraw a BTC-E code for it?

I already made a small deposit to test, but it's not giving me that option (cuz I'm a new user).  Just wanted to know if it's not possible w/o verification and I already lost it....

Thanks!
