Although the idea of playing at pinnacles or 5dimes odds and directly at them is tempting, playing with bitcoins takes all the meaning of gambling with bitcoin, You would need to complete regular verification and wait for your payment for days, just like when you are playing with fiat.

The main method is through once effort and determination to give up gambling, I suppose so at least, because I couldn't do it neither a majority even with the desire to stop gambling overall.
A More direct method would be locking the money you could gamble in a place making it difficult to use (for example, if you gamble BTC, keeping your coins in a cold paper wallet or even selling them and keeping them as fiat).

I guess that's based on the BTC value rising as well, Altcoins prices jumped with BTC since the main market for trading altcoins is with BTC and hence the prices are very closely linked and a rise in BTC could mean a decrease in BTC value for altcoins.
That doesn't mean much IMO as the prices can recover very easily and quickly right now.
