1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I do? on: July 18, 2017, 02:45:20 PM
I now have a offline wallet created at www.bitadress.org
i've printed my bitcoin adress and private key.

Should be a good choice right?
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / What should I do? on: July 17, 2017, 07:56:14 PM
Ok so here's the thing

I have a few bitcoins on btce.com and a few on a [Suspicious link removed] wallet and I've noticed the price dropped really fast the last week.
Me being a newbie and didn't quite know what was going on read something about segwit and hardfork
I learned that it would be wise not to leave the bitcoins on btce but store them somewhere else.
Is blockchain a good wallet to store the coins in during the hardfork? Or should I get another wallet?
When the coin splits I obviously want to end up with both the old an the new coin of course.

Or does someone maybe have a better idea what I should do with them?

It's not a whole lot in total, it's about 0.15 BTC or so
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / what type of miners would be the best on: June 16, 2017, 07:31:21 PM
Hi all,

So I've a question about what would be smart for me to do.
I'm able to put a miner in a few buildings so I don't have to pay for the electricity.
All the buildings have a stable internet connection so that's not an issue.

So I'm looking for a miner that doesn't need much maintenance and doesn't make much noise.
And what would be smarter in the long term, go for a SHA-256 or Scrypt ASIC miner?

Hope someone can help me Grin

hey guys,

maybe someone can help me
so i'm mining for almost 3 weeks now with just an normal pc with a gtx 1060 (6gb)
But when i went back to my pc this morning, the program stopped completely and was shut down (the program, not the pc)

So I tried running it again but then it almost immediately stopped again, restarted my pc but still no luck

I did find out that windows defender had put Skeeyah.A!rfn in quarantine and according to windows defender it has something to do with the minder.

Could enyone help me so I can start mining again?

Download new copy of the minerprogram.

Thanks! that did the trick, but does anyone know what could have caused it?
And should I be worried someone has been in my pc an could have stole personal information?
