1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.0 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: June 17, 2017, 11:01:08 PM
Hi ZX,

I use the same program and the save server.  You need to use the password with the username as well.

If that doesn't work - turn off the anti-virus for a test ... they might be blocking it.

Hope this helps,

Mike
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / pool hash rate vs miner hash rate on: June 17, 2017, 01:30:08 PM
Hey all,

I'm new to mining (obviously right? Wink )  and just started mining on suprnova.cc .... I noticed that the hash rate on the pool dashboard varies lower and higher than my miner's hasrate which is a consent 830 Mhs for LBC using ccminer v 2.0

Is the data displayed normal behavior for all pools (to see some variance? ) or is something else wrong?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Mining Eqihash causes computer to shut down on: June 17, 2017, 02:46:30 AM
Hey all,

I have a Nvidia Titanx and a GTX 1080 SC

I can mine LBC no problem and overclock with no problems and be really stable.

When I try to mine Equihash using either the nhequiminer or the Zec miner - my computer shuts down.

It doesn't seem to be a thermal problem, i even tried to move the GPU's with pci-e risers to separate them more and run their fans 100 percent.

Why would mining one algo vs another cause the computer to shut down?

Please help me ,

Mike
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How do you figure out if you can solo mine a coin? on: June 16, 2017, 02:22:23 PM
Thanks dbc!

I also found this link http://jsfiddle.net/eduncan911/UXJR5/ calculator

Caveat: difficulty changes all the time and what dbc said is also correct!

Best,

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / How do you figure out if you can solo mine a coin? on: June 16, 2017, 12:10:11 PM
Hi All,

My computer is doing 832 MHs for LBC at the moment.  How do you compute if you can solo mine a currency realistically ?

Thanks !!

Hi There!

I really like the new miner!  I was wondering if there are a way to increase the hashrate / workload on my system.

My computer has a Nvidia Titan X and a EVGA GTX 1080 8GB and the new 11Gbs memory speed.

I'm on windows 10.

When i run the ccminer x 64 (it's faster than the x86).

Also, its seems the Titan X is doing 2 cycles and the 1080 is doing one per cycle.

Are the default settings the best?  Or can I optimize further ?

Thank you in advance and I really appreciate your help and patience!

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Overlocking Dual GPU Windows Problems CCminer ???? on: June 15, 2017, 06:23:51 PM
So reinstalling the drivers seemed to fix this problem and the ccminer x64 version is 20Mhs faster.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Overlocking Dual GPU Windows Problems CCminer ???? on: June 15, 2017, 05:13:29 PM
Hi All,

I was running a single Nvidia Titan X on my windows machine and reaching 500 MHs on LBC using Afterburner to over clock and using the new ccminer x86 version 2.

I added an additional GTX 1080 today and while ccminer runs... overclocking either card or both cards seems to slow down the cards MHs rate.

I'm only getting 750 Mhs now and was thinking to be able to get at least 800 Mhs.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance,

Mike
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Claymore Dual Miner 10x Slower than ccminer? on: June 14, 2017, 07:41:53 PM
Hi All,

I have been using the ccminer on my windows 10, nvidia geforce titan x system.  And I get between 450-500 Mhs for LBC.   I tried the dual miner from Claymore, and only received 37 Mhs for LBC.

You can see my screen shots here:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OXAcyEOpP5U1cpwH1ePXP-j_el4b_-6YfBByIp3Q9pk/edit?usp=sharing

Anyone know why that is?

Mike
