Wow lucky you guys listened to massstahcoiners wonderful review on POWR.....you would be up 2x already....can you imagine that...defiantly dodged a bullet there! Cant believe the 7300+ people in their telegram community don't know the team are scammers. Cant believe the 3 exchanges that have already listed them and the one in the pipe-line also don't know they are scammers. Cant believe members of the Branson family who have invested don't realise they are scammers. Cant believe the people of Perth don't realise they have a scammer as their deputy mayor.

For now the price is still below the ICO may need a new exchanger so the price can be above the ICO rate

Does anyone know if wallet directions are case sensitive?
yes, they're definitely case sensitive I had confirmation on telegram that addresses are NOT case sensitive you're right mate: "Ethereum wallet addresses are in hex [0-9A-F]*. While the address itself is case-insensitive (A is the same as a to the network), the case sensitivity is used as a (optional) checksum. It was built as an after-thought to an addressing scheme that lacked basic checksum validation." thanks for the info no problem, I was worring about the same thing when I got the last email from civic Good luck! |

This is a nice project with a potential production use.
Nice words, which can be said about any other project. Do you get the idea of CIVIC at all? I will tell you: Civic is the emerging leader in digital identification. This is going to be very popular invention in the area of social networks. Civic allows users to control what data will be transferred during the authentication process. Thus, own and manage its own data by the users themselves and not a third-party platform that can make a profit by selling personal information to annoying advertisers. The only issue is social media platforms will miss out on revenue by selling search history etc to advertisers. Don't get me wrong I love CIVIC and I think it has huge potential and I don't like the fact that you don't get to chose weather these platforms can share your information or not, but I think its quite a big obstacle that CIVIC will have to get round. I think we should be given the choice of what personal information we share and using CIVIC will give us that option. |

It will not be affected by segwit because segwit activation only for bitcoin not for altcoin the price of Bitcoin affects the price of altcoins |

Good deal, sounds like this is going to be a success. Just like in the stock market, the whales are going to be massive profiteers. Must be nice to be able to move markets and buy in enormous amounts...one day, one day. <Sigh>
Yea I agree I envy the guy that doubled up on his $30,000,000 ethereum flash crash, but CIVIC wont be subject to price manipulation from whales as the ico allocated price tiers, from $25,000 all the way down to $50. I'm not sure of the exact amount of slots for each tier, but as an example.... 50-$25,000 slots....... 5,000-$50 slots. Furthermore I'm guessing many people will hold CIVIC as it has huge growth potential and that will increase demand for tokens. |

We plan to process refunds by July 5th and to deliver tokens by July 16th.
I'm 99% sure that they raised $33,000,000. It sucks you didn't get 100% of tokens you expected...I wonder if that will apply to most investors |

There is a notable steady increase of CVC in just a week. It started at $ 0.1250 on 2017-06-18 23:30 and reached $ 0.4997 as on 2017-07-03 23:30. Great going. Would have been nice to see the total number of shares sold in the official website, perhaps it will be updated soon.
This project is experiencing tremendous success, but why do not you release this coin in bittrex? Let's wait for information that will come hopefully not survive in a little exchange listing on bittrex would be pointless as investors wont get their tokens until mid July but there is no doubt in my mind that CIVIC will be a "tremendous success" when it hits bittrex. CIVIC is an amazing project with a decent team behind it |

Basic questions can be answered on here or they can contact support as I once did and got a pretty fast response from the team.
This is not about getting news or answering newbies stupid questions, it is more like spreading of positivism and influencing others to investigate more about, and when they see all talks about project. This can be best marketing you can get and also can attract whales to pump the price. They plan to make announcements and give news just before the token realise so it will be a successful launching in the trading. If you have questions you can also go on the Telegram chat which is very active  One project success is not measured only by collected funds also is measured by support of its community members , and community is built through discussions and speculations.. Whales look at the fundamentals and potential growth of a project not idol chat on threads |

Yes little of waiting won't harm, this also can have positive effect on price. But everything over one month is dangerous. Also i would like to see opened discussion thread about CIVIK. It would be wise this to do someone from team.
Yes I agree sometimes if it takes long to hit an exchange some people get scared but they should have faith in the team....these arnt unknown random people that no one has ever heard of. In regard to open discussions only problem with doing that is so many noobs asking ridiculous questions like constantly asking when it will be on bittrex etc plus leaves the doors open for trolls...im guessing that's why there is no slack for civic. Basic questions can be answered on here or they can contact support as I once did and got a pretty fast response from the team. I have no worries that the team will do an excellent job and they should spend their time on the project and maybe show up to answer any real concerns people have if any should arise. The 'hold' term gets branded around a lot but I have 100% faith in civic and wont be thinking about selling until this is a $100 coin. |

The sale finished four days ago and civic already reached such high price. To those who invested in it a lot civic already bring the great profit. Congrats! It's amazing! You do realise this is not the actual price and the volume is super small. Wait until it gets distributed and gets on major exchanges. It's mentioned that some issue is going on with the contracts deploying, so the distribution of the token could taken around 3 weeks time. Might be distributed by the middle of July and so users need to be waiting with patience to get their tokens as well getting listed with perfect pricing. the longer the better, were currently in a bear market and theres too many shit coins hitting exchanges. Civic in my opinion is the most promising coin iv invested in since the ethereum ico |

Civic has huge potential backed by an enthusiastic them. iv already seen a few crypto sites using civics qr log in and saves all the hassle of re-entering your email, then password twice, then logging into your email to confirm it is indeed you....and that's the most basic application for this project. Getting people to download the app to participate in the ico is also a clever move because it is already in the hands of over 50,000 people just from the ico. Civic will be huge and even if it hits the exchange at $1 that is still a bargain all day long!

I dont know what you are talking about. I was 8xxx and i was still able to get $500 slot. The way line was moving i didnt think i even had a chance. but you have to admit, despite all the issues lot of ppl were able to buy in. May be not for amount we expected but atleast got in. According to the ICO website your funds will be "locked" for 3 weeks while they audit and send out the Civic tokens. It is on their website FAQ/Whitepaper.
I guess my main beef with the ICO is that I had $7,500 I was going to put into the project, and by the time I was number 1,000 in line they only had the $50 portions left. So yeah, not worth my time.
Had they done smart contract I could have sent my Eth and gotten the coins and all would have been well.
I was thinking the same thing when I read that...my friend was around #7000 and managed to get a $500 teir |
