To be brutally honest, but not intentionally mean, most bankers don't have much tech background, and have probably never read a white paper in their lives, regardless of what fine institution they may have graduated from. They are in as far over their heads regarding bitcoin, as most tech-oriented bitcoiners are in over their heads in the ways of Wall Street. It will probably take quite a while for this mega-gap of background/knowledge to converge

It is a crypto currency that makes sending and receiving money through banks anywhere on the globe near instant at minimal cost. This is great for banks because everyone wants to save money. This also means that more transactions can take place. The potential is great for this digital currency in the long term.

I believe so, yes... I also don’t think anyone should be confidently giving investment advice to any random person over the internet, yet alone taking any.
Conduct your own research while also listening to multiple perspectives on the future of the coin so that you can instinctively ask your self if you believe in the product or not.
Ethereum in my opinion is a great long-term investment. But let’s first understand what it is, along with their mission, so that you can see the potential that I do.

The Nobel prize-winning economist Robert Shiller has said bitcoin will not be a “permanent feature” of the financial world, as politicians indicated that a clampdown on cryptocurrencies was coming.
Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos on Thursday, Shiller hailed bitcoin as a “really clever idea”. But although he was impressed with the technology behind it, he was concerned that it had “gone viral as a currency”.
“I tend to think of bitcoin as an experiment. It is an interesting experiment, but it’s not a permanent feature of our lives,” said Shiller, who has previously warned that the bitcoin price could collapse. “We are over-emphasising bitcoin, we should expand it out to blockchain, which will have other applications.”

Most digital currencies are unlikely to survive in their current form, and investors should prepare for coins to lose all their value as they’re replaced by a small set of future competitors, Goldman’s Steve Strongin said in a report dated Feb. 5. While he didn’t posit a timeframe for losses in existing coins, he said recent price swings indicated a bubble and that the tendency for different tokens to move in lockstep wasn’t rational for a “few-winners-take-most” market.
“The high correlation between the different cryptocurrencies worries me,” Strongin said. “Because of the lack of intrinsic value, the currencies that don’t survive will most likely trade to zero.”

A closer look at Buffett’s investment strategy reveals that Bitcoin and Buffett were never posed to be a love affair. Buffett’s investment strategy circulates around the concept of intrinsic value.
Buffett defines intrinsic value as follows:
Intrinsic value can be defined simply: It is the discounted value of the cash that can be taken out of a business during its remaining life.
To give you an example: Buffett bought about $ 1 billion in Coca Cola stock in 1988. Coca Cola has lots of intrinsic value: People all around the world consume Coca Cola, thereby creating a steady stream of profits for the company. These profits make Coca Cola a valuable company.
Now, what Buffett looks for are companies whose market cap is significantly lower than their intrinsic value. In other words, Buffett looks for companies that are significantly undervalued, just like Coca Cola in 1988.

Many market observers have compared gold and bitcoin.1) Both of these have proved helpful to investors, and both have been harnessed as a speculative investment at some points and a safe-haven asset at others.
While some analysts have compared these two, bitcoin and gold have important differences. These range from something as simple as tenure to the very nature of these assets themselves: gold is tangible, but bitcoin is a digital creation.

Bitcoin – Mark of the beast, one world currency. It would make sense that a cryptocurrency would be used to usher in a one world currency and the antichrist. Logistically, you could never have the same paper fiat all over the world acting as a one world currency. It would have to be a digital currency.

Tim Draper who made over $1 billion by getting early on Twitter, Skype, Tesla had this to say:
he told Forbes:
"In five years, if you try to use fiat currency, they will laugh at you. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be so relevant... there will be no reason to have the fiat currencies."

So, possible scenarios: 1. Satoshi is a group of people. Subscenario 1: Founded by some powerful entity, to create an experiment or destroy banking system. Or make drug trafficking easier. 2. Satoshi is dead. He didn't really knew that bitcoin might have such success, he died before seeing it growing so much and that's all. Subcenario 1: Satoshi was killed because of Bitcoin. 3. Satoshi is affraid of Bitcoin and how it turned up. 4. Satoshi is a person that has no life other than programming (21.000.000% nerd) and he creates things under different identities. Maybe was behind Napster too. 5. Satoshi is ET or AI or GOD or S8TN

What will happen with bitkoynom in the near future? My opinion is that Bitcoin does not lend itself to the usual technical or wave analysis. I just have two versions, the first version is that without corrections the price for Bitcoin will go up in the historical maximum. The second way seems more probable to me, this year the maximum of "hamsters" will be "shake out" the entire stock of Bitcoin. The surest way to drop the price to $ 100, and maybe less. The media and social networks will do their part, burying Bitcoin once more, But, as is usually the case, the price will again patiently and persistently begin to strive for the moon.

I believe cryptocurrency will continue to evolve. Development, adoption, application and its community. We have seen from this past years that cryptocurrency keeps on improving and even created a user friendly apps to be able to simplify its use and let users enjoy their services even more. Though some are lagging in development (Bitcoin), they will for sure catch up once they are good to go for the implementation of their updates to compete agaisnt the more advanced new cryptocurrencies.

In general, it's never late to invest in financial market and crypto or bitcoin also. The reason is quite simple: although you are older and older, the financial market is still young. As you can see, bitcoin and crypto market has emerged for some years and it's too young to compare with stock or commodities market which has existed for hundreds of years.

I think the price of bitcoin is currently experiencing some decline. the price goes back to the $ 9500 price. well, I think today can reach the price of $ 10k, because a while ago I saw bitcoin prices around $ 9900. well, but I think it will soon experience an increase again.

I think bitcoin is like digital gold and Bitcoin isn't the digital dollar.
Hodl to the moon. Just like gold, due to its limited supply and increase demand, the value keeps increasing gradually. Bitcoin will surely lead the world's financing to a revolutionized one where holders will get the best of transaction speed, security, control and many more to come as bitcoin gets more developments.
