3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: August 20, 2020, 03:19:47 AM
Bitcoin is a famous and valuable digital currency in crypto world. Many hackers using it on their evil deeds, that's why many people says that bitcoin is useful for criminals and people involved with them. But despite that, bitcoins value keep on increasing and many others also said that bitcoin is important because of the technology that makes it work.

During this time that we are experiencing difficulties because of pandemic ,I can say that bitcoin is what we really need. Why? What is the importance of bitcoin now?
     >Bitcoin is so important during this time of pandemic that we need to take care of ourselves and for our families and loved ones to not be infected with the virus.

     >Bitcoin is intangible, you can't touch or handle it unlike fiat money that hold by different hands and it is prone to viruses.

     >Bitcoin serves as an instrument for online payments away from covid 19 and with the ability to transact internationally beyond the framework of financial regulation.

     >Millions of people have lost their job because of this pandemic. Why not use this bitcoin as a substitute to your work in order to earn money to sustain the needs of your family.
I know  there are other ways to earn but in terms of safety from virus outside our home much better to earn money using bitcoin. Also, there are many ways to earn it.

During this pandemic we need to: Stay at Home
                                                     Stay Safe
Stay Positive and Earn with Bitcoin

True mate. I am very thankful to bitcoin and to cryptocurrencies especially to Satoshi Nakamoto who created this Digital money are really worth to hold and to have because cash is useless when it comes on this situation. Crypto is the future. Bitcoin is the future.

Great concept and very promising project. DeFi is one of the focus areas in 2019 of some of the projects lately and up until now I guess it’s more popular which almost all of the project now is based on Decentralized Finance. I want to as what comes up your mind why did you choose to base your project on DeFi?
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Second COVID-19 wave is coming...Infinite loop? on: August 20, 2020, 02:54:14 AM
The much discussed second wave is here! While many countries e.g. Brazil and USA are still suffering from the first wave, the second wave has already arrived in Europe, after it looked like the crisis was under control for some weeks.
Everywhere in Europa are strongly increasing numbers of infections like in Spain, France, Germany or Croatia. Many areas are once again being declared risk areas. Will this be the last wave and if not, will it bring the economy to its knees with unforeseeable consequences to the world?
Because of this covid our country now is on the big debt now that even our president is crying on it while many of the citizens here don’t even have a exact food for a day. Because of covid the world’s economy is really crashing. No one knows when it will end but as of now we need to be careful and wise.

10  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: September 20, 2019, 09:52:01 PM
Friends, I have recently read an article on the future of the banking system thanks to proliferation of smart contracts, some countries are already preparing cryptobanking projects, and this should happen  the next few years. Actually the conclusion of the article was that the free financial market - cryptocurrency is the future for the financial system. Do you agree? Is it so positive, or will the state regulation complicate things, but in my opinion it is inevitable for the banking sector, in your opinion?

Its good to have a crypto banks so that we can keep our ssving there and easy to transact also because we can do it by using high technology government. We can do it easily in a quick transactions. That we can have the quick proccess  to all over the world.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still Better than US Dollar? on: September 20, 2019, 09:45:59 PM
This news made me angry Angry Why people still can not understand that the government is manipulating fiat money. Bitcoin is the solution to the problem of manipulating the state. Could this news be a signal for further support of Bitcoin instead of fiat money among US citizens?

https://www.ccn.com/dollar-printed-75-billion-why-bitcoin-matters/

Even bitcoin is falling it is still possible to  have a higher value in the future. Because bitcoin is a very expensive currency, if btc will begin to  hit the price of 20k it will become the powerful  money to all over the world. Dollar Will  be no value compared to bitcoin in the future.
12  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: September 20, 2019, 09:40:15 PM
The traditional norms made us believe that savings are a safe option to store your wealth.
But is it true now?
With inflation, we all know that the prices of the wealth we have kept in our savings account will decrease. What is the use of saving when ultimately we are not even able to enjoy what we have been saving for years?
The smarter option?
Investment! Investment is not gambling if done rightly. Very often we see people not putting too much effort into learning and jumping into FOMO. They don’t have enough guidance that will help them to invest better.

Savings is good because your money is secured you just wait for the price increase to come at the right price for you. While investing is good also but you have to bet your feelings and expectations to have a chance to earn big money. Its like a gambling its either you win or lose.

15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling just for fun? on: September 19, 2019, 09:24:31 PM
There are some people gamble and lose. if you ask them why do you gamble? They will answer you "just for fun"
They know they are loser in long term and no strategy works, but continue to gamble for fun.
How can enjoy something that you know you will lose? Is losing money really enjoyable? Isn't there any other entertainment you can enjoy?
I think these people are still hopeful of winning back previous losses or they are addicted. Gambling cannot be just for fun. There are many free games too.

Rich people say gambling is just for fun but some become an addict to gambling until their life is getting worst because gambling addiction may destroy life style of one person. Its not fun to the people who are always a loser.

17  Economy / Economics / Re: Putin warns of financial crisis the world ‘has not yet seen’ on: September 19, 2019, 09:10:40 PM
The global economy is facing a threat of a spiraling protectionist measures that can lead to a devastating crisis, Vladimir Putin warned. Nations must find a way to prevent this and establish rules on how the economy should work.
The Russian president spoke out against the growing trend of using unilateral restrictions to achieve economic advantage, as he addressed guests of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on Friday.

“The system of multilateral cooperation, which took years to build, is no longer allowed to evolve. It is being broken in a very crude way. Breaking the rules is becoming the new rule,” he said. “The ability to impose sanctions arbitrarily and with no control fosters a temptation to use such restrictive tools again and again, right and left, in every case, regardless of political loyalty, talks about solidarity, past agreements and long cooperation,” he said.

When we read about crisis it alarms especially to poor people because they don't have wealth to provide their needs.Poor people will be the number one affected if crisis come. While rich people have savings to survive in times of crisis.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigerian crypto educator returns $80k in bitcoin recieve by mistake. on: September 19, 2019, 08:57:31 PM
This threads is as a respond to the numerous replies on my previous thread proclaiming everything Nigeria is been associated with negatively. The actual truth is the good/positive incident aren't been circulated like the negative news. The media are mostly interested in painting the country bad. This incident of a bitcoin entrepreneur returing 7.8 BTC (worth around $80,000 when the transaction occurs) is an example we do have good individuals among us. I did follow the development of the story when i saw his tweet informing about the mistake although I'll be linking you guys to a more reliable source.

Keith Mali Chung — the co-founder and president of African blockchain firm Loopblock Network — has returned almost $80,000 worth of Bitcoin (BTC) mistakenly sent to his wallet.

Chung — who goes by the Twitter handle of “Bitcoin Keith (The African Bitcoin Bull)” — tweeted about the incident on Sept. 12:
“I received huge sum of BTC from an unknown sender and it’s definitely a mistake from someone I must have had transaction with before, Kindly DM me time of transaction, your adress and exact digits sent..
thank you. Kindly retweet”

In a further update on Sept. 13, Chung revealed that the exact sum of apparently accidentally transferred Bitcoin was 7.8 BTC — worth $79,482 to press time. He also indicated that the sender who remains anonymous had responded to his request, meaning he was able to return the funds. He explained:

“In Africa, which is where I am situated, 80% we transact Cryptos through WhatsApp escrows and someone who himself and I had business in the past made this huge mistake of sending 7.8BTC into my blockchain wallet. I spread the words round & he reached out.”

Chung’s actions earned him significant social media acclaim and even the moniker of “African/Nigerian good samaritan” on crypto Twitter. Had he failed to identify the sender, he had pledged to donate the accidentally-gotten proceeds to Binance, which organizes a series of philanthropic projects via its charity arm, Binance Charity.

In conclusion, Nigerians are enthusiast of this currency (bitcoin), Any Nigerian who have encounter the currency and invested wisely can testify it has had more effects in their life than the government had during that timeframe😁 all I'm trying to say is we mean well towards the adoption of the currency. Although this is a story of just one individual, there are many of us out there who would had done the same.

Oh! What a great news that there are some people living in this world honestly. That's wonderful  history to all over over the world. This is the best example attitude that all people may adopt  to have a healthy life.

Yes l agree that gambling is not just for fun. People use to gamble expecting for wins. Because some gamblers are just hoping to win in every game. But people saying its just for fun because they only play for not a long time just for their past time.
