I lived the first days of bitcoin.
The true reason is stated in the first mined blocks.
As a one the first few thousand users ever, i used it for fun and payments. (donations, faucets, subscriptions).
Many of my solo-minted bitcoins are lost forever (donated, or wallets created just to do some tests).
Back in the day, the community had to defend against 51% attacks and many tried to read and improve the code. (i remember setting up a computer farm just to defend the chain while staying up with a friend doing diagrams of the blocks)
I really like blockchain and i do think it's something that will mark the 21st century.
On the other hand, seeing fund-managers and multi-billionaires cheering for bitcoin causes me nausea.
Many (myself included) never accepted the status quo of our era, usage of our own money through our own payment system was a way out. No-one ever intended to ease corporations.
As years pass by, I question many things and at this time I have concluded that shrinking supply is unfair for new generations (first come first served is not optimal).
New "boomers" want to dominate the digital space by the "I was born first" or even worse "I have more currency" right.
That's not what shatoshi envisioned (digital and private cash).
So, to sum up the whole creation was a movement from the people, for the people, through the people in the face of central banking establishment.
Blockchain, as bitcoin showed us all, should free ourselves from the central bankers’ policies.

Congratulations to the team for the new listing.
Until now they managed to keep up with my expectations always in time (as promised).
I do hope this continue.
I stongly believe that sonm will be a great success in a very competitive market.
Price still is very low but when new release is out and people see with actual cases what sonm can do then prices will literally explode.
PS. i urge sonm team to seek some sort of partnership with Tierion (TNT). Their hashing needs could be implemented in sonm network and give payouts to all nodes!
Now SONM is getting serious...

mannn I sold my SONM too early..now waiting for the rebuy... congrats to the big bag holders   I am on rebuy position too. I sold it few days ago at 0.00002173, and now it already 0.000025XX. currently, top volume on liqui. I am waiting for the next big hit. by the way, am I the only who still use SONM signature? How will this impact Sonm Chinese can trade sonm in liqui. Thats the beauty of having many points of exchange (thus the future are dex)... Also liqui was keeping the price down (solo market). Now the price there will be true price discovery. SONM will moon many times |

Binance? You must be joking. Chinese government cracking down on all ICO born tokens. In Binance, they are all delisting NEO, QTUM and some other tokens. SONM at the moment is a very strong contestant for Binance. China ICO matter is strictly for chinese ICO's. SONM is russian sooo.......... |

Guys relax.
price is there cause the tokens are traded on only 1 exchange.
In liqui atm is traded 1.7mil tokens out of 333mil in eth terms
price action of 1,7 determines the price of the whole project...
as you can understand price is very suppresed atm and in the news of a new exchange will literally moon
To sum up
if you believe and you can, gather some free tokens now and w8 some time for greater price action
if you dont believe, there is a market you can dump the tokens and get something for them
last thing: if you ever doudt about a project take a look at github rep (i am realy impressed with this one)

well their github is one of the most freq updated i have seen
also their code is very good from what i see
here we have very good devs
i would not say that it whould take a year though...
its a russian ico
at the beggining they have decided to have a russian exchange
to me this is perfectly normal
price will rise with another big exchange.
personally i hope for kraken

All these complains about price are because people were expecting immediate profit after the launch of token. There is a reason why Supercomputer related ICO raised huge money. That is one of these projects was in pumping condition and people thought they will see similar results. Large majority isn't interested in tech but few times of return on their investments.
amen to this these tokens should the project deliver will worth so much imagine companies not needing to have server rooms and by simply keeping the tokens to have the required cpu and network power definately thats not worh 7cents per token should the team deliver token will skyrocket |

Well,
having participated in ICO i had to buy more at these ridiculous prices.
This project promises so much that in addition to the rise in crypto-space in general that will generate extremely well returns to token holders.
These kind of tokens are not to be traded imho but to be kept.
So for those wondering about the current price my only advice is HODL

The co-founder did not change planet.
The co-founder gave his opinion about this project having academic background
The announcement is that the co-founder is leaving the dev team to focus on academic research related to sonm
To me it sounds perfect 👌 for the program as a hole.
Someone that knows the concept will do more r&d on the subject.
Since when one when he starts something must be there until his retirement?
To me its normal someone to return to academia when he has done his part in a startup.
So...
Until now the only negative in this ico are some members that they create much noise without any serious reason.
Example is bonuses based on timing based on shapeshift based on blockchain matters based on weather conditions
and the perfect conclusion for most of them is that ico us a scam
I would refund all of them that are complaining and blacklist their wallets for further transactions (can you please do that;)
If they don't like it so does the project.

I Do feel for everyone that lost money due to this outright scam. Do some research. 2 of the devs are no longer with the project. 1 of the devs outright committed fraud in an attempt to have the escrow released to them. The second apparently quit. Says the company and he went separate ways. Then look at the devs that are left. The git has the proxy app used with sonm. The name of the app is cocaine. Really have to wonder how much coke was blown while naming it. Lastly, they announced all bonuses had been paid. Just look at how many members are writing multiple emails without receiving a response.
Now there is a scam message on thier slack. With all that who would seriosly install somn on thier pc ? TO STEAL YOUR PASSWORDS AND EMPTY YOUR WALLETS. Yet some of you are writing somn is a good coin and will recover. Are you on cocaine? WAKE UP.You have been scammed.

Well, as anyone can see project is very active https://github.com/sonm-io/Factory/issues/3project will be an amazing success imho people complaining in here are 1.people that do not know that shapeshift has commisions therefore they have miscalculated 2.people that believed they where fast enough (not so much) 3.cry babies that want to take bounty and dump to earn 1 dollar 4.people heavily invested in other similar projects that feel threatened (rightfully) by sonm i like team and how they cope with all the above that they are doing their work let the code speak (behaviour Vitalik aprooved)  |

sonm is in short squeeze hold those who have bought.
Buy those who didn't got into the ico.
Price will definately go high when big exchanges come to play.
Also this specific is pos (giving payouts)...
Those who won't get on now will have to pay a heavy price in some months
