1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you sell your dog for 100,000 usd in btc ? on: August 28, 2017, 09:54:55 AM
Have to admit, within this year, that's the worst question I came across which means either the internet is getting better or that I've a good list of forums that I visit,
Anyway, The only reason for such a request would be to annoy or "hurt" the person with the bet, considering even the most expensive dogs that are for sale young or old aren't being sold for that value...
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: July 08, 2017, 10:29:57 AM
First of all, because it was the one who made the category of "cryptocurrency" and is maintaining in the heads of the flock, offering better over all functionality and security than newer (innovative) but more liable in security like Ethereum.
Beside, more than 90% of the media coverage is directed towards it, because of this popularity, and hence it gains even more popularity and the cycle continue giving it a new crowd of active users.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wanna Cry new ? please help (cryptolocker Petya) on: July 08, 2017, 10:20:57 AM
The best method IMO to get help would be going to a specialized professional in computer and IT (There are plenty of shops for fixing programs and corrupted PC's), although it might not be easy but their might be a way to extract the needed information out of it.
Paying is a wrong thing to do IMO, since it would encourage these people to do that again and again.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: June 17, 2017, 03:41:19 PM
The biggest issue would be the incompatibility with the financial system which are overly watched and observed, the fact that not every bitcoin address is linked to someone's name and identity make it hard for regulated financial institutions to use bitcoin as a currency
