1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🏦 👪📱[ANN]SilentNotary{1st NOTARY CHATBOT!} ⏰ ICO is in progress! 2-nd ROUND! on: September 13, 2017, 02:42:35 AM
Posting the raised amount on the site will increase trust and transparency of this project. Please also don't forget and have time to update campaign spreadsheet so that campaigners will continue to work and will not lose their faith in promoting this campaign.

The amount raised can be found here:
https://etherscan.io/address/0x0f30c808069315b3b7dfbfe149c87448b50c6d8b#internaltx

In my view, what's killing this ICO is the following statement:
"All tokens not sold during the sale will be distributed among team members."

At the 6000 ETH target stated in the whitepaper, even if the entire ICO was to be held at the initial rate of 100 million tokens per ETH, the maximum number of tokens sold would be 600 billion or 60% of the minted tokens. But given the declining rate/increasing price, the actual attainable amount is much lower than that, leaving more than half of all tokens to be "distributed among team members".
By the way, there's no word in the whitepaper about those tokens being locked for any period.
One can only imagine what happens to the token price when those 50+% of the tokens flood the markets.
The idea is good and rather unique (at least as of current), but the token distribution scheme is totally upside-down.

@Dotrego thank you for your reply, but could you please clarify, in case investor deposted 7 BTC, and he will open 7 wallets in 7 blockchains, how will will divide my  7 BTC, xxx HYBRID  in value of 1 BTC in each chain in HYBRID -the wallets of other blockchains will see it as HYBRID? This is what people don't understand how asset HYBRID can be on the other blockchain wallets  as HYBRID. Probably investors want to get HYBRID in order to be able to trade on the Exchange. So they are more interested in receiving HYBRID in order to be able to withdraw it to the exchange and in case they want to transfer HYBRID to the exchange what will be the process? As some investors are good traders but not good in technology side. So they are interested if they bought xxx amount of HYBRID how they can withdraw it to exchange total amount, where probably you will have pairs with HYBRID to other assets. I hope I explained clearly the concern of some investors.
The donation is split in 7 about equal pieces, so donators will receive 1/7 of their originally donated value on every blockchain (plus rounding off), making 7/7 in total. That's why we need 7 addresses. The Status ICO has shown again how risky it can be to be dependent on just one type of blockchain. After receiving, the users will be able transfer them via decentralized exchanges or a centralized one. Their value is equally distributed among the 7 types of blockchains we're supporting first.

Thanks for the explanation @Dotrego.
When you say PIN, are you referring to the 5-digit code issued at time of contribution? Basically, if one has this code and the txid, that's all that is required to later claim HYBRID-s once the cross-chain wallet becomes available. - Is that a correct understanding?
Well if you properly filed it, there is more to test with. But we'll only come to that if there is reason for doubt. For instance, we also only accept requests from existing registered email addresses.

Yes, email address too. - Thanks!

I can see my NVST now. Wow we have some nice wallets with a bunch of them NVST.

I too received my NVST - https://xchain.io/address/1BapiAiGdSLUzB8HW4ykjTPRJ3uXadVBch

This BTC address is from electrum wallet and I have a private key of this wallet. That's means I can just hold these NVST in this address until NVST release a wallet? OR do I need to do something in my electrum wallet to secure these assets? Thanks.

No need to do anything for now, - you can keep them in that address until the NVO wallet is released. Just make sure to store your private key safely.

Could someone please clarify how such submissions would be verified to ensure that the claimant is in fact the original contributor?
TXID-s are publicly visible, aren't they? I.e. - where in this equation is the proof of ownership of the contributor's private key?
Thx
We only transfer to people who have registered their transaction during the crowdfund, starting with the people who provided a valid PIN. If there is any dispute about ownership, we request additional verification. There will be a grace period for anyone who did not receive our reminders.

Thanks for the explanation @Dotrego.

I sent the btc from my trezor wallet, now wondering if I will receive the tokens or not ;S

You may receive them but they would be unusable, as Trezor wallet does not seem to handle counterparty tokens.
And even though you technically own the private key, you can't sweep the address in the Counterparty wallet, because Trezor does not reveal the actual private key value.
Please see this page as posted by tonbi on slack: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfC5CQ4djZan9Gs2WATAnQXtYnecSyAD2fIP6bKGDc5HwiwOA/viewform
Looks like you need to hurry and fill it out with your info - hopefully they'll be able to do something and send your tokens to another address you'd need to provide

To late, I already PM'd bittick a full guide on how to retrieve his tokens.
Trezor DOES reveal the actual private key value.

Thanks for trying to help,
But no thanks Smiley.

Care to share how to reveal TREZOR private key?
I do know you could use your 24-word seed in some software or website to have the key re-generated using BIP 39, but that's not a very safe thing to do if you want that seed and key to remain a true secret. As a last resort though - i.e. just to get it over with and later reset the device with a new seed - yeah, it could be done.

Those using Ethers to enter TEZOS ICO, dont forget to use your public key in the data option otherwise you cant be mapped with your Tezos address..

"You MUST provide the associate the following data to the transaction, otherwise the fund cannot be associated to your Tezos wallet."

Can you explain what you mean here? Underneath that message there is a key, so at where do I need to give them that key? I don't know what you mean by "data option".

If you're using MyEtherWallet, the Send Ether and Tokens page has three fields: address, amount and gas limit.
Below those fields there's a link that reads "+Advanced: Add Data". Click it and then paste your personal transaction data into that field. Then generate your transaction and send.

As per https://internetofcoins.org/en/earlyholders:

AFTER MAKING ADDRESSES

When you have made 7 addresses using the blockchain systems above, please send them to us by e-mail to: distribution@internetofcoins.org

Please copy and include the following in your message.

TXID: {transaction ID's you used}
Omni: {public key}
Ethereum: {public key}
NEM: {public key}
Bitshares: {public key}
Counterparty: {public key}
NXT: {public key}
Waves: {public key}

Could someone please clarify how such submissions would be verified to ensure that the claimant is in fact the original contributor?

We have now :

10688 btc x 2190€ = 23 406 720€
29847 eth x 237€ = 7 073 739 €
30 480 459  €

shit! crazy, right?  What will they get for two weeks?  100mil or 200mil?
can't imaginize it!

Don't forget that the initial 400-block slot has a 20% bonus, hence the rush.
The subsequent slots are likely to see much slower contributions.

Ok, I'll be the first one: CONFIRMATION PAGE IS WORKING!
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: July 01, 2017, 07:58:50 AM
For all the people who are unable to see their balance even after its getting confirmed at the blockchain, please note that it will take about an hour to get updated at this link: https://check.tezos.com
From what I am hearing, it might take even longer. So keep your patience mates, this is going to turn out great. I missed the ETH train, glad I could hop onto this one.

It's been well over 2 hours now, and we've yet to see a single person having confirmed their transaction on that page.

6,366 BTC + 7,779 ETH  so far.  Shocked
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: July 01, 2017, 07:18:48 AM
I cant see the counter... All is see is the time of tezos running

https://www.tezos.com/

You can always check the total amount of ETH contributions here:
https://etherscan.io/address/0xb56d622ddf60ec532b5f43b4ff9b0e7b1ff92db3

As far as BTC goes, I think the addresses are per-wallet, so there's no way to see the total as you do for ETH.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: July 01, 2017, 07:06:37 AM
Has anyone seen their contribution show up on the webpage yet?   I would assume that it would be reflected after 3 or so confirmations on the blockchain for BTC...but I'm not sure...
they said it'll be confirmed after 6 btc blocks

Is there a link to where they mention this?

I thought the same, but nothing is showing up after 40+ confirmations.

This will be the most epic crash in history lol
Buy it on the exchanges for a fraction of this price in 6 months
When people found out they bought hype and run for the exits...

On the other hand, if you look at Ethereum in hindsight... I wish I had known about it when it was being ICO-ed.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos discussion on: July 01, 2017, 06:44:46 AM

Once you have contributed, you are supposed to go to:  https://check.tezos.com/#

Then you enter your public key.  Then you can see your contribution there.   It says "transactions may take up to 1 hour to display"

Could anybody confirm if you're actually able to see your contribution using this link?
Or is it just showing the "1 hour" message to everyone?
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CrowdSale Ended]🌟🌟🌟🌟 NVO Decentralized Exchange | MultiWallet 🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: July 01, 2017, 04:19:29 AM
can we see the number of our tokens without installing a counterparty wallet?  like thru the blockchain or something?

I don't want to sell my tokens but just want to see my tokens are there.

Thanks.

You should be able to see the tokens sent to your address by using this block explorer:
https://counterpartychain.io/addresses

Once NVST have been distributed, go to this link and enter your PUBLIC key/address in the search field. - You should then see your tokens in the Assets section.
Just a friendly reminder: NEVER enter your private key on any website.

the sweep process will take everything I own on that BTC address and send it to the counterwallet, rendering my original BTC address I generated for the purpose of this crowdfund useless AF, as I'd have to use this newly generated counterwallet
Just move any leftover BTC balance into some other address and import the address you've used to invest with. I don't see the problem?

this is YOUR fault as you clearly state that we can use ANY address of which we've got the privkey, nowhere it says that it HAS to be counterwallet
It is certainly not "anyone's fault". What nemgun has stated is correct. Any address with a privkey should work.

As for the bullshit thing, I'd really love to know - what exact rule was violated by my response to nemgun.
How should I know? Ask the forum moderators.

Lauda, if you believe that my comments on the differences between encryption and sha256 could be considered an attack of any sort that you were trying to fence off, then I wonder why you weren't the first one to jump in and correct nemgun's reference to sha256 as being an encryption algorithm.
I was not exactly talking about you; the statement was rather meant in general based on my observations in several communities/channels. I am not watching over this thread 24/7 and will surely not be the first person to read everything. Let's not waste time on this (we're drifting off-topic with the debate about moderation anyways).

Peace!
