For starters I only need 0.5 BTC. I am willing to pay the Mt.Gox HIGH price.

5  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Musing on a new ASIC for Bitcoin Mining on: May 07, 2013, 09:02:15 PM
If you do the following:

1) Make a product
2) Sell it for a price that will allow people to profit after 30 days (don't do what Avalon and AsicMiner did, which is capitalize of the fear of not owning one)
3) deliver it too some bloggers
4) open you manufacturing facility to be viewable (photos, webcams, etc)
5) have a supply line that can ship a product to a user in < 30 days
6) be ready for a flood orders

then you sir will have a crazy cash machine on your hands. . ..in the end with bitmining, it's the hardware makers that will make "bank"

7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big compliment from FORBES to BITCOIN on: May 06, 2013, 11:23:01 PM
OMG ... this is good and bad news...but mostly very bad.

1.Your average zombie minded economic subject will be really freaked out by: "We don’t really know how this coin is created. You can’t have a functional money without a basic transparency." In people's minds if FORBES doesn't know and see behind btc and its workings...how could they understand.... this sentence alone freaks out stupid folks who are after all the 80% of consumers and regular population....

Most people have no clue how fiat money is issued or how the central bank, FED or IMF work...but hey ...TV/newspapers calm them down regularly saying...its all in control and bla bla state banks print ..its easy...
here mr fucking forbes tells them who ...its a black hole...i dont even know how its created ...much less how it works...Sad HORRIBLE

Remember folks... most people don't even go to universities...and thats basically the first and only place where economics is explained Sad ...so they will be skeptics after this ...they wont use their brain to find out on google about this crazy currency... Sad(

2."Unless you are addicted to volatile trading for the sake of trading, stay away from the Bitcoin. Thankfully its plunge will be a salutary caution to most folks."  <<<<------------ unfuckingbelieveble.... this is like WHOA WHOA ...bitcoin is for SPECULATIONS !!! not normal use.... FFS ...you guys dont understand...if 2-3 forbes reading millionaires get the idea..."lets try speculate on this ...forbes says its made for it...welll imagine a guy with a 5billion$ worth investing 1% of his wealth on BTC speculation .... Sad((((((((((   dont say its too much to buy ....there's a guy who did this with the WORLD COCOA market ...about 3 times in the last 10 years .. http://makewealthhistory.org/2010/07/12/speculating-in-the-cocoa-fields/  Sad(( and BTC is a MINI market for such guys Sad(

DAMN this article is BOGUS ...someone should call/write ...we should mass write to frobes and tell them they are shitheads !!! this could easily be the start of the end of btc imo Sad

9  Economy / Trading Discussion / How do i find an escrow for currency exchange ? on: April 28, 2013, 01:45:16 AM
Hello. I would like to purchase some BTC in the NEAR FUTURE (next week most likely)....I only want to buy 1 btc or maybe even less 0.6-0.8...before I post my ad in the marketplace I just want to find out how this goes ?

For example if I have moneybookers(skrill) or pokerstars/ft funds ....are there solid members here offering escrow for such exchanges ? and how do I get someone to be an escrow for such a transaction ? do I have to pay him a fixed percentage ? or does the btc seller pay him too ? how much is normally the price for someone helping with escrow for such a small amount of funds (i will definitely buy MAX 1BTC for my first time ...not more)

Thank you ! (i AM NOT OFFERING AND EXCHANGE HERE !!! I am just asking about escrow for an exchange that I plan with these parameters in the near future.

12  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: So seriously is anyone buying?... BTC for cash on: April 27, 2013, 01:44:37 AM
dunno about your countries guys ...but in some european ones (mine too) CASH THROUGH MAIL IS ILLEGAL !!! to the extent that if cash through mail is detected ...it WILL BE CONFISCATED !! something regarding anti-laundering policies etc ...

just a heads-up on this method of payment ... and WU is ...well WU ...I remember reading an article once stating that up to 30% of ALL WU transactions are fraudulent or scams ... Cheesy so careful y'all

14  Economy / Economics / Re: We need a way to be able to short to reduce the impact of crashes! on: April 27, 2013, 01:01:07 AM
you can't assure people that it's ok to hoard and speculate ...

maybe we should reduce the decilne in AAPL's value per share too ? just to make sure all those made millionaires there don't loose 20% of their bullion due to this quarters drop....if you know what i mean ? Smiley)
both would be very very stupid ideas Wink

wanna hear a 3rd stupid idea from the same league ? when banks get into deep shit the g-man helps them out a bit a first ...pumps a little wonder juice in their vaults (when they seem to approach bankrupcty) ...these are/were the same banks that made BILLIONS for years and years and NEVER gave the g-man 1 dollar extra from their profits just because they were approaching the billionaire ladder to quickly .... )

15  Economy / Economics / Re: What if everybody wanted to move to BTC? on: April 27, 2013, 12:54:51 AM
a small (narrow use low monetary base) currency is highly susceptible to speculative attacks and thus highly volatile and dangerous to both traders and capitalists (=those accumulating capital nor USA folk in general as Europe thinks:D) ...less to the individual consumer ....

for example if you wanted to shake the $ you could bend over backwards for Obama and it still wouldn't change shit ....USA GDP2011@current prices =15.09 TRILLION $
while crashing the national currency of Moldava (GDP2011 @current prices = 7 BILLION $...this goes for a shitload of small countries !!!) would be a child's play for ANY FORBES top 10 individuals or companies ....

need me to elaborate ? Smiley

Point is ...BTC is still a small unstable market ...but if people would move to it massively ....well: value, GDP ,market cap they all rise corresponding to the growing demand ...ultimately stabilizing with each small growth ...
16  Economy / Economics / Re: Who knows what ripple is? on: April 27, 2013, 12:42:36 AM
ripple is something with no value really advertised here on the newbie section and offered for free just to be bought back for little money to make it look valuable to the public ...to determine naive and greedy individuals to invest in it without knowing that they will soon crash and burn ...especially since there is a centralized ripplebank which can be shut down any moment in a police raid ... + the 51% rule is already compromised for this since the begining
17  Economy / Economics / Re: part of berlin really takin up bitcoins on: April 27, 2013, 12:39:24 AM

18  Economy / Economics / Re: Energy consumption could become an issue if bitcoin really breaks through on: April 27, 2013, 12:38:31 AM
did fuel become an issue when cars broke through ? yes ... what happened well people started fighting for it and an exclusionary mechanism was introduced ...the raise in price ! Smiley)

hardly the same but I think you get my point ...

imo energy costs will translate into transaction fees which will get bigger to include a small 0.1-1% fee extra for all the juice we waste...

this is all imo however ...'Smiley
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Video: Bitcoin Ponzi scheme on: April 27, 2013, 12:30:13 AM
a ponzi scheme DOES NOT allow it's participants from any other level than the TOP TIER ...to withdraw all/any investments at ANY desired time !!!

Here nobody forces you to ponzi with us Wink you don't like it ? get cold feet ? cash out and never come back...easy as that...while ponzi works more like : you want back you moneis Huh well first you have to double down your investment, persuade your parents or friends to join ...and than you get 80% of your initial investment ...paid as "dividends" .... while the rest can not be withdrawn yet since it's invested in a "termed deposit or stock" (words of the ponzi master to his mugu) .... Wink)))
20  Economy / Economics / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin? (dissertation, please vote) on: April 27, 2013, 12:24:32 AM
be much more interesting if you had added "Silk Road" as an option  Lips sealed

This.

I learned about Silk Road early 2012, looked at Silk Road near the end of 2012, and THEN I learned about Bitcoins because of Silk Road.

I imagine it's very different for people in 2013 with all the media attention.

This !!!

but dunno if its safe to say this in your thesis ...I mean personally I have a strong belief that 80% of non-miners heard about bitcoin and got into it more or less because of SR Smiley))

but it was actually an internet article about SR ...in a newsportal. so I can say the internet and look less like a junkie Smiley)
