I thought I'd give Yobit a try to purchase some Namecoin. I only tried to do this because they were listed on Coinmarketcap, which gives some legitimacy to Yobit.
When it came time to withdrawal the Namecoin, after purchasing a little, everything looked normal, until I hit the submit button, and the message came up: Withdrawal for such currency is temporary off.
I'll update if this gets resolved.

Cryptopia says:
06 December 2018 - Our MEC wallet has been placed in maintenance because we have determined that this coin has suffered a 51% network attack, and we have not been able to locate an active development team
Come on Limx Dev! Any activity on this? Did Cryptopia reach out to you or you to them? Are you still working this?

i am working on a new megacoin wallet design, this is what it looks like on ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
whats your opinion to the new design idea?
Hi nbk! Thanks for working on Megacoin! I think the wallet looks modern. I hope that you have fun updating the code to be more modern as well, and you likely will learn a ton. I'll send you some MEC if you pull this off!

Also, The wallet is a serious resource hog. That will have to be fixed before this gets listed on any exchange.

make sure that you are using version 1.4.1. 1.5 doesn't work for me. I haven't tried 1.6. also make sure that you have a jackpotcoin.conf file in the directory with the following lines of text:
rpcuser=admin rpcpassword=password rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=15372 listen=1 daemon=1 server=1 logtimestamps=1 maxconnections=100 addnode=107.170.47.52 addnode=184.73.138.68
Change rpcuser and password to something else. If anyone else has working nodes, feel free to add them. I am not sure if the network shares that info automatically or not.

better ban bittrex.com in hosts file, wallet will work, and you'll still be able to reach exchange via www.bittrex.comThis works for me. Type "127.0.0.1 bittrex.com" in the windows host file and the wallet works.

Can anyone go over the improvements in Whitecoin V2.0?
it looks like staking coins is a lot different.

I fired up a node at 138.197.159.60, try adding it to your peer list and lets see if we can sync.
I see in the debug log where my Jackpotcoin Ver1.5 tries to connect to your node at 138.197.159.60 However the log says that the connection was rejected. Just fyi, the port for Jackpotcoin is 15371

I still don't have my wallet fully synced. Could someone who is running Jackpotcoin add my node? My node IP address is: 52.55.95.161.
Anyone have a more recent jackpotcoin block download files posted anywhere?

Yes, this helps tremendously. It is great news, that I didn't loose my coins. Thanks for your informative answer.

I am not sure if this clears it up, but I used a legacy wallet to generate that whitecoin address.
Is there a chance that I can recover that?
