1  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cloud mining/Investing or trading on localbitcoins? on: July 01, 2017, 06:52:14 PM
Localbitcoins is only a peer-to-peer exchange, it does not have any features of investing in some cloud mining project or any investment programme.
You just buy and sell bitcoins there, to local people. You enter the place where you are currently in, and there is an offer to buy bitcoins for other people in your region.

Anyway, I just dont get the idea of something like that. In almost every case, cloud mining cannot be compared with investing because it is just simply losing your money: unless you got some ability to make a successful prophecies about the time, when the scam website ("cloudmining project") will be down or suspended.

Obviously, that is not possible so anyway I still advice to stay away from this type of programmes.
2  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Online Shop that accepts BTC on: July 01, 2017, 06:33:28 PM
Lots and lots of online stores have started accepting bitcoin. Some have been providing very user friendly shopping experience with bitcoin. One among them is purse.io where users can now purchase certain products that was available in amazon.com.

What sites are you talking about?
If you're referring to HYIP sites, would be better to stay away and never touch that sites ever.
If you choose trading/ICO, make sure your credentials are safe to avoid "hackers" stole your data also deposit on the trusted site as well.
4  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: July 01, 2017, 05:52:32 PM
I have found that food truck operators that have the ability (and familiarity) to use an electronic payment system, are often really eager to hear about bitcoin. I'm guessing those guys aren't too picky about their customer base, but we got a snowball stand and a cupcake truck to accept btc after kicking it with the owners a bit. To be fair, they were hipster (not saying this as a slight, but a indication they are familiar with current consumer technology) but hey, adoption is adoption.
