Its just not hot when a girl has stumpy little labourer man hands, and the looks of a pretty fluffy bush under there.

Yup, I'm sure all the women in the adult industry will be lining up to accept your coin after they see the way your treat women. I'm not one of these nut jobs who thinks you need to go around calling all women attractive. Everyone is attracted to different things, and that's OK. However, if you don't like the way a woman looks, be a gentleman and keep your mouth shut. Have some class. It's just sad you need to make fun of a girl to make yourself feel better about yourself.

What's up with the name of this coin? I guess you made a conscious decision to exclude half of the population of the world? Women like sex, sex toys, and porn too. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't buy my stuff using something called dckcoin.

Well I guess its a damn good thing I'm not looking for people in the adult industry to accept my coin then eh.  Telling one girl she has manly hands and a furry bush after she told me to go fuck myself is far from mistreating women.  Unfortunately I don't shut my mouth often enough but I calls em as I sees em.  Its not like I'm making stuff up, you can see the picture right ?

VGINA is an awsome name. it was my understanding we were limited to 5 letters for a ticker Huh  But exactly that it is just a name, When there are 16000 + items for sale in the store at rock bottom prices and you can spend VGINA, Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American express, or EMT VGINA.ca will be well used.

We all hate Yobit . . but were still using it . .

But anyways thanks for the free bump ! glad you could stop by and check out the project.

Thank you come again.

LOL, that isn't a picture of her, it is a picture of a Russian sign girl. An adult entertainer. I've seen the photo and it's very obviously a notebook with a cardboard back. You are blind. Plus, if you knew anything about this world, you would know a girl would be pissed if her customer edit her photo to get new free sign. You'd also know it would be the girl that is far more likely to cheat on making a sign. Girls who cheat on making signs get called out on it. But in this case, the girl is honest as anyone with eyes can see it is a notebook. So yes, you are treating women badly because you can't even make fun of the right woman. Even if it was the correct woman, it is still childish to make fun of someone's looks. Even if she did tell you to fuck off. What are you, 15?

Moving on, why create a coin as a secondary goal to your store? That doesn't make any sense. Why do any extra work at all?

Another litecoin clone - it just isn't anonymous unless the user knows how to practice good opsec. It affords the general population almost no extra anonymity compared to using a credit card, which you also accept. If your site gets hacked, just as many personal details will be available to hackers as any other adult site that doesn't accept crypto. Except they are very big business, have employees in charge of security. Is it just you, or are there other devs?

Sexcoin has been around a long time so it has that litecoin legacy. You're starting from scratch, why not clone a real anonymous coin? Now that would really give you the upper hand.

The real value of a sex branded crypto coin is not from buying things in stores, but in person to person transactions. That session with a cam girl can be anonymous but never in buying something in a store since something is being shipped to you. But you are only interested in store business?

Starting new scrypt coin in this day and age is pretty ballsy. Easy in 2012/2013 before ASICs. Much harder today. How do you plan to protect against constant 51% attacks? Even if your intentions are 100% honest, this coin is just going to be a pump and dump vehicle at first. Especially, if you get on a decent exchange.

EDIT: ah, didn't realize you've been around since march. Still, you get listed somewhere like polo, this coin will be pumped and dumped to death.

EDIT2: My bad. I looked at your code. zerocoin fork, not litecoin fork. I'd have been more impressed if it was a monero fork though, that's my favorite coin. Still, it's a shame your coin is burdened with a name that sounds like it was picked by a 12 year old prepubescent boy. And you seem to like to pick on women. With a different name, I might have actually mined some. And I think you missed my point about the name earlier. EVERYBODY loves sex. Not everybody loves vagina.

You can clearly see where he wasn't able to edit the image properly.  the top of the sign and the bottom right corner are off and show the edges of the original sign underneath.  that wuld not be there in a photo of someone holding a piece of paper.

What I see clearly is the black binding along the right indicating that this is a notebook, not a single sheet of paper.

EDIT: OK, I guess it is a shadow, not black binding. But it is still clearly a notebook. Not really sure why you care to begin with.

In this coin for a few months now, not much as I'm a broke ass, but very intrigued and excited by the potential of this coin, not to mention active dev. Keep it up! When alt coin markets recover, and they will, this one could go far...

Also, Sasa9.... hot damn... awesome pics everytime. Not sure if you are posting your own pics or pics of others, but keep it up!

I've been meaning to get with Sasa to se if she has a zip file of all pictures. I started a Tumblr with really awesome gif and pictures. I want to add those there.

Yeah, don't re-post those without her permission. The donations are to cover her costs.

You can, of course, contact the exact same girls for your own personalized store ads. That may be the better option. And there are plenty of other girls out there as well. If you don't want to have to learn how to speak to the Russian girls, maybe she'd be willing to be your proxy to get some. Using google translate can get tedious, especially with all the bad translations you'll end up with.

It was still a step up from war-dialing bulletin boards! (sigh... good times)  Cheesy

In case you missed it : http://wiki.sexcoin.info

Glad your feeling better!

I had a modem with my commodore 64, but could never figure out how to get in on the BBS scene. Every once in a while I'd get a number (not for pr0n) but I could basically never get into any Smiley I never had a PC until college since I couldn't afford. When I got there Pentium had just come out (with its floating point bug) and I used to collect people's old 286s, 386s, 486s and use those.

Am I the only one who misses setting IRQs and DMAs on ISA cards?

Yup, saw your wiki post. Haven't actually gone there yet though.

#Sexcoin

Mama Mia! Wink

Been both sick and busy the past week but I still intend to get some CentOS 7 build instructions going. It was the worst, 3 days of sick, then 2 days of withdrawal symptoms/side effects from my medication not being absorbed while I was sick. Was my summer vacation Sad

Anywho, not sure what I'll work on after that yet. I wanted to get a Dockerfile going to build a node, but I'm sure the wiki can use some love as well.

And if you're new around here (like me) and haven't donated any SXC to sasa9 yet, you really should. Those models aren't free. You don't need to break the bank, just show a little appreciation for all the nice eye candy she posts.

This is how you disrespect potential clients by posting their personal messages to you in an open forum?

Maid, I've been meaning to congratulate you for all the excellent work you've been doing. And it is excellent.

But this was a serious breach of basic netiquette. I may be new here, but I've been on the net since 1994. Since we used to look for porn using gopher and downloading text lists of locations from ftp sites. Sorry, gotta defend my fellow timelord on this particular point. Don't care what you were arguing about or who insulted who, etc. You just don't do this.

Again, amazing work expanding your store and getting cam girls involved! I honestly wasn't expecting such a rapid expansion and it was a pleasant surprise.

vk.com is blanket banned from reddit? Why is that? Anti-spam?

I added a link in the sexcoin reddit to the follow the white rabbit post here instead...

Can someone add my website and the Banner on the VK forum? I think that would be a good place to advertise. It seems pretty active. Although for now I only ship US.

It's not a forum, it's Russian facebook Smiley

I'd like to thank ac0rnsoup for putting these guides together:

Building Sexcoin 0.10.4.0 for Ubuntu 17.04

Building Sexcoin 0.10.4.0 for Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Basically, the same instructions as 16.04 except we have to install and use gcc5 as 17.04 comes with gcc6. I'm hoping the issue with gcc6 is an easy fix that can be deployed with a future release, but no guarantees as I don't know C/C++.

I've also added two dependencies to the original dependency list for people who want to build nodes in docker. The officially maintained docker images for Ubuntu are missing a few things that would be on any normal minimal install of Ubuntu.

Attempting an Enterprise Linux 7 build. I think the dependencies will work after a cursory glance but yum update is giving me shit right now. I think all the mirrors I'm hitting are partially synced from an update pushed sometime yesterday. Current metadata but incomplete RPMs. Not sure I'll touch Fedora. Generally, I stay away from non-LTS distros. I've only recently started using Ubuntu LTS due to dependencies for certain cryptos as I don't consider 5 years of support a true LTS OS.

I only have an Ubuntu 17.04 install because LTS wouldn't install on my 2016 Thinkpad 11e.

Just checked up on my node. 64 peers and about 13 gigs of data sent. So far the dictionary attacks don't seem to be above what I normally see on a server without IP restricted SSH but I'm going to keep an eye on it. Server seems to be doing fine so far.

OK, Xenial post is up:

https://sexcoinforum.com/index.php?topic=170.0

I'll make adjustments as needed. I left out bootstrapping for now.

Hopefully, I can figure out how to get it to build on 17.04, but I'm going to set up my PC for virtualization and docker first as it will be much faster than working on my collection of slow laptops.

you should be good now, if it still wont post let me know and ill try again Smiley

*Edit: you dont need to clone the branch now, its been pushed to master

Cool, will try soon. Just to double check, no work is ever done in master and it only ever contains the latest official stable release?

Hey lava, can you "un-noob" my sexcoinforum account? I just signed up and tried to post this but couldn't due to external link.

SUBJECT: Installing v0.10.4.0 on Ubuntu Xenial 16.04

Abbreviated instructions with no explanations for those that just want to get it going with minimal reading or decisions.

#install dependencies
sudo apt-get install build-essential libtool autotools-dev autoconf pkg-config libssl-dev git libboost-all-dev libminiupnpc-dev

#install db4.8 from a bitcoin PPA
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libdb4.8-dev libdb4.8++-dev

#install GUI dependencies
sudo apt-get install libqt4-dev libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler

#clone the latest tagged stable release. Detached head warning is fine and expected
git clone --branch v0.10.4.0 https://github.com/sexcoin-project/sexcoin.git

#build it
./autogen.sh
./configure
make
sudo make install

LMK if there are any errors or if you have issues.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SXC][NSFW] Sexcoin - New Version Available for Miners & Exchanges!! on: July 02, 2017, 01:48:05 PM
Update:

There was an error in the recent bootstrap file we released which caused clients to jump to network downloading prematurely.

The corrected bootstrap file is available for anyone wanting to download it in preparation for the release:

https://github.com/sexcoin-project/sexcoin-bootstrap

The bootstrap file is ONLY BLOCK DATA. We haven't officially released the new client.
It is available so you can download it in preparation for the new client.

From the README: https://github.com/sexcoin-project/sexcoin-bootstrap

  • Download bootstrap.dat.gz OR bootstrap.dat.zip from github or mirrors.
  • Verify the integrity of the compressed bootstrap.dat file with the checksums.
  • Decompress to obtain bootstrap.dat.
  • Put it into the Sexcoin datadir. This is the same folder that contains wallet.dat and the blocks folder.
  • Delete bootstrap.dat.old when syncing is finished if you wish to recover some storage space.

If you are starting a brand new client, you may need to:
  • run the installer
  • start the client just long enough so that it builds the directory structure
  • shut it down
  • copy the bootstrap.dat file into the data directory
  • then start it back up

Oh cool, I thought I was doing something wrong. I got nada done yesterday. At least my node is up and running. Still seeing mostly 0.6.4 peers though Sad Since I have been using Tor or VPNs to log into server, I decided to hold off on fail2ban for now, will check the logs in a few days to see how often the dictionary attacks are occurring. I usually use DenyHosts anyway, it's just what I learned first. For now, I turned off SSH password auth and disabled root login. Don't get me wrong, this account isn't anonymous enough to be government-proof, but I'm trying to improve my opsec nonetheless. I still need to set up monit or run sexcoind under supervise, but I'm assuming the software is stable enough that it can wait until my next TV show binge (I usually do light work while I'm binging)

Off topic note for people: If you sign up at vk.com (to follow the sexcoin pic group there), make sure to use your pseudonym from the get-go. They seem to be stricter than facebook in some ways. I signed up with my real name just to poke around, since it needed my real phone number anyway, went to change it and it requires moderator intervention since they want real names. No way they were going to accept Ac0rn Soup. I deleted account but they don't actually delete it for six months and since cell phone is primary log in I couldn't sign up again. Tried my google voice number, numbers from burner app, wouldn't take any of those numbers. Looks like I'll need to buy a prepaid cell if I want to sign up there with my pseudonym.

I'm about to put Xenial onto an old Lenovo to see if I can get the GUI working. I thought it would be nice to have a place to post said instructions.

We have a place for instructions. There's stickie posts for these things on sexcoinforum.com.

As a matter of fact, you could start here: https://sexcoinforum.com/index.php?topic=70.msg891#msg891  *note the responses Cheesy

Good news. The Xenial instructions will be very simple, assuming we trust a PPA for db4.8. I've actually used that PPA in the past to install bitcoin core. It's kind of funny how all the bitcoin related PPAs say you shouldn't trust them.

Once I installed that along with all the other dependencies, I just did
./autogen.sh
./configure --with-pic

and it compiled fine with built in gcc 5.4. There were plenty of warnings, but it compiled and is syncing now. Used qt4 although I'm curious if qt5 will work.

What do you think of using the PPA? I'm thinking keep it as simple as possible as not every linux user has experience compiling lots of stuff. Anyone who is paranoid enough and knows how to compile can follow the raw documentation in the docs directory and compile their own version of db4.8.

Time for bed. Tomorrow, I attempt to take apart these two ancient Lenovo laptops I got off ebay and try to flash libreboot on them with a beaglebone black. After that, maybe I'll attempt a Dockerfile for running a node, unless one exists already. I watched multiple docker training courses recently and haven't gotten a chance to apply that knowledge yet. Oh, and finishing that public node is easy enough, I should at least get to that soon.
