would someone please be able to help me out with some vega 64 timings and clocks and maybe ppt tables to get power usage below 200W at wall? been getting 48mh @200w from wall from each card, i imagine i can do better.
Settings in pic run ~168w/GPU including idle ATW (120v, 1600 plat PSU). amdmemtweak params are --RAS 30 --RCDRD 14 --RCDWR 6 --RC 44 --RP 12 --REF 11700 --RRDL 4  Thanks mate ill give them a run. im on windows though and dont think i can get voltages down that low without powerplay tables? think its capped at 900mv. You can use ODNT to easily create a PPT similar to my clocks/voltages listed on the right. Only difference is that you may need to use mem P2 set to 1028 (and lock out P3), in order to take advantage of the power savings of a reduced SOC clock. Btw, if you really want to get crazy, there's been a lot of noise about flashing a 64 w/ a 56 BIOS (yes, the reverse of what most people have been doing) to get higher hashrates at lower power. Not sure which models this actually works for tho, and haven't tried it myself... yet. i'm getting 54Mh (samsung) and 50MH (hynix). 930W on the wall for 6 vegas (all flashed 56). 900W on the wall, plat PSU. |

Got my coins swap. For those with the same issue you have to take a print of your wallet showing your reef coins. Also you need to send the address and your wallet.dat to the support email mencioned above.

I need it too. Don't we all? Akakakakakkakaa, count me in. For 1150 2100, max i can get only 930 h/s for xmr. How about others? which card is used to get 930 amd or nvidia  My RX 470 4 GB Elpida Card makes 930 H/s XMR ... Core @1150, Mem @ 2050 ... sgminer 896/8/2 ... 55W(gpuz) ... 0 Memoryerrors R0landīs Strap mix: 777000000000000022AA1C00315A5436A0550F15B68C1506004082007C041420CA8980A9020004C 01712262B612B3715 (copy from PBE) The data from GPUZ are a little bit different : 777000000022AA1C0315A5436A055F15B68C1560408207C41420CA8980A9204C01712262B612B37 15 Why are the data different ? It skips some double 00 pairs and shows them as either 1 zero or doesn't show them at all. Also, it moves the bits around. This is not raw format. Not in endian, the bits are probably grouped together for each timing. Also, i dont see how you can be making 930h/s with that strap at such low clocks and this wrong miner config. At 1380/2000, with the same strap and 896/8/2, sgminer barely pulls 500h/s. With 896/8/1 its doing 700h/s. With 512/4/2 its doing 850h/s. Also, that strap TRCDR is not the same with TRCDRA. Same miner config for my RX470 and RX480 cards gives me even lower hash rates (450h/s). Considering, you need to do ~1k raw intensity total on both Linux and Windows, i dont see how you can be pushing 1.8k raw intensity. Pretty much depends...seeing this strap I seriously doubt it can handle 2050 without errors. If the card is dedicated, the strap works realy good and stable (24h, 0 rejected shares). But if you also use the card for working with the OS, sometimes the miner doesnīt start with 896 worksize or BSOD. Dedicated no problems. At 1100/2000 it makes ~30 ETH wth claymore single mode, and no error. Donīt try 1380/2000 ... 1100/2000 @850mv is maybe better (~890h/s) . Good luck  Okay.... I found the issue. It was the drivers. The way, you, Roland were doing things were entirely different. By default, the RX *70 and *80 cards maximum Raw Intensity is 512 at -w 4 and 2 threads. BUT, the Compute mode (BlockChain driver), is the thing that helps with overcoming this issue. I tested today with 17.12.11 with Gaming mode, Compute mode, the mentioned strap, and sgminer configs of 512/4/2 and 896/8/2. Results were as follow: 235w at wall (whole rig, testing only the 580, so assume ~100w for card, ~80% PSU eff.). For all straps and configs. Temps ... around the same. 1380mhz Core/2000mhz Mem, 1100mv/750mv. Roland strap, 512/4/2, gaming mode : 750h/s. Roland strap, 512/4/2, compute mode : 750h/s. Roland strap, 896/8/2, gaming mode : ~700h/s. Roland strap, 896/8/2, compute mode : 950h/s. My strap, 512/4/2, gaming mode : 950h/s. My strap, 512/4/2, compute mode : 950h/s. My strap, 896/8/2, gaming mode : ~750h/s. My strap, 896/8/2, compute mode : 1024h/s. did you test it for eth other than that 30MH test? i don't understand why so many zero's went away -_- |

Hello guys.. Im new in this hobby and i have this mining pc:
Asrock H81pro btc
6x gtx 1060 6gb
4gb ram
intel celeron 2.8GHz
1x ssd 60gb
corsair HX1200i
Windows 10 Home
i run the ethminer 0.12.0 and my problem is when i run for 3-4 hours one of gpu crash and run only 5 gpus. Or crash all pc and i cant do it nothing. Only to close from power and i restart again.. msi after burner defualt settings.. Only power at 75%... i have change many of settings from msi but nothing..
Are you not overclocking? Try running on stock standard and also make sure the cards don't overheat i have ruuning on stock standard and crash again. degrees of my cards 66C-71C.. change the riser of the card that crashes alone. |

when i was mining ethereum (same set, same gpu's, same everything) i was getting 26 Mh/s
now i'm mining zcash (same set, same gpu's, same everything) i'm getting 600 H/s
can some one explain it

I'm running 7 msi gaming 1060 x 6g cards.
windows 10 anniversary edition
376.09 geforce driver
afterburner settings: +140 core clock, +950 mem clock.
dual mining eth/sia
only setting changed from default in miner: -dcri is set to 46
average effective hashrate for last 24 hours for eth according to ethermine.org is 167.7 MH/S (averaging 152.83 shares per hour)
calculated average hashrate for last 24 hours for sia according to nanopool.org is 2640.9 MH/S (averaging 61.7 shares per hour)
i'm calculating shares per hour by the info given in claymore (total shares divided by number of hours its been running). nanopool is reporting that i'm getting about 3 or slightly more times that number of shares of sia per hour.
rig drawing 1130 watts.
i just started running claymore 10. previous claymore did seem slightly more stable, but v10 has only been running for 23 hours.
a notable improvement with claymore 10 is that at 23 hours, i have 0 rejected shares of either eth or sia. I was getting 1 and rarely even a second rejected eth share every 1000 accepted shares with previous claymore.
any questions or tips/advice are appreciated.
Hey m8, there's something very wrong with your rig. I've 5x1060 6g doing 108MH/s ETH (dualmining DCR) with a power draw 630W. Do you think that 500W difference is acceptable by having just 2 more cards? Is it profitable that way? |

I have a rig with a 6xRX480 Asus.
I am with a dag driver.
Gore clock is 1160.
Mem clock is 2020.
The speed is 4511 h/s.
Is this ok or a need to change something to have a better performance?
seems above average. maybe you can lower core clock a bit to save some power. |

Increase in the core speed doesn't have much effect in xmr mining.
i usually drop it a lot on ETH. I was asking because i'm using the same modded bios for XMR. For example, i've a RX460 doing 13.5MH on ETH (dualmining dcri 23) with core 1000 and mem 1950. The same gpu does around 400h/s on XMR. Not sure if i can improve it by increasing core speed. |

I have just released a new Monero miner. Profitable on on the gtx 1060 (3gb) Preresults: gpu 0: Gigabyte g1 gaming (micron memory) gpu 3: Inno3d 1070 (samsung memory) gpu 4: Gainward 1060 3gb (samsung memory)  I have also tested on the 980ti (g1 gaming) and get around 700h/s With max oc I get 814H/s with samsung memory cards (gtx 1070). With the sp-mod, monero is more profitable than zcash and ethereum  did you change core speed? |

I've found a stock of rx560 4gb at a good price, Linux drivers actually work on these cards so I'm feeling calmer now...
AMD has working beta drivers for the 550 they should release them ASAP because I'm not happy with my new paperweight.

So I got an RX 550 4GB to test it out and tossed it in with 3 other RX 480s... "Selected OpenCL device index 3 doesn't exist." I can't believe this, the amdgpu-pro driver doesn't support this card. There's no fucking Linux driver for this card!  Windows drivers don't support more than 8 GPUs, what is this nonsense? ? The Vega hashes at 41 MH/s (ETH) for 300W... GARBAGE! and there are no other cards left. NVIDIA, fucking useless!!! HEY FUCK YOU AMD!!!! edit: Instant paperweight, let me explain; I can't return it because there's nothing wrong with the hardware or the Windows drivers included on the CD it came with. I can't use it because my Windows box is a free win 10 upgrade from win 7 that was upgraded from win XP. What CD-KEY do I use? The OS is tied to the mainboard and the mainboard has all the pcie slots fried, I'm using the on board video now. There's more to this key issue too, Windows Store is broken because it's confused over the keys and it refuses to load the calculator and other apps, the OS literally can't even add 1+1. The Linux OpenCL is 100% broken and has been for months, AMD does nothing. My new mainboard to replace the fried one has 13 pcie slots but Windows only supports 8 GPUs, that's if I buy a new copy of Windows (throwing good money after bad, I think not). I got sold the RX 550 working with Linux, it states so on their web page. I WAS MISLED!!!!!!! Windows supports more than 8 gpus. it's the drivers that don't support more then 8 gpus. You can have a rig with 8 AMD and 8 Nvidia gpus. AMD will release i driver that supports more gpus, don't know when. I've seen people mining with RX 550, so i guess the problem isn't AMD but your system. |
