1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gradually turning away from its purpose? on: June 09, 2024, 12:42:56 AM
Actually in this case I think it still does not deviate from the original purpose.

I agree with this, it might happen that OP is more expose where Bitcoin is being traded in a centralized exchange but nothing in fundamental changed in Bitcoin. Which means that if it happens that centralized exchange fails at some degree, bitcoin can still operate and maintain it's value because it is more likely to operate according to original purpose. There is no middle man or institution in between, only P2P.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading psychology and TA on: June 09, 2024, 12:39:49 AM
Does Psychology exist or is just an illusion of you not  having the right approach and risk management, fundamentals...that affect your trades
Those who don't believe in trading psychology are the same with those who think they can trade without Stop Loss (SL) It's an important aspect of trading.

In short, if you don't have brain to analyze and uncapable to have emotion while trading, then psychology would probably be illusion for you. Because guess what? Emotion is everywhere in trading especially in crypto market. Every spike in volatility going higher or lower is just emotions and convictions of people trying to buy at low price and sell at higher price. The way you are thinking is fact that Psychology is real. In trading where it's a battle of metal resilience, it is important hat you have a strong sense of psychology in terms of winning and losing.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most Traders are Not Profitable on: June 09, 2024, 12:35:56 AM
Cause most are into trading to get rich quick they don't care have the knowledge of trading before diving into it .Trading takes a lot of time for one to become a professional .one need to learn a lot ,Practice well and advisedly start with a small account before moving to a larger one .This is one of the most simplest way to become a professional and profitable trader.

Even not  small account. A demo account would be enough. But most are not willing to submit to the process. Because why would you go to screen to play with paper money and learn price action first right? Why do that when they can just simply put a random trade, pray over it to win. Most grow into that unbeknownst to that what they are doing is gambling is not trading. In trading there must be a repeatable system in play.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't do this mistakes in trading on: June 06, 2024, 04:18:41 PM
Most traders always think that acquiring the skill of trading will reduce the losses

It won't. Acquiring the skill means that you are accepting the fact that anything can happen in the market. That your wins and losses are perfectly painted in probabilities. Having the skill in trading is knowing when to take the risk and when not to. Because losses are normal part of the game in trading. It's like taxes or transaction cost that need to be payed to be in the game.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What your opinion? on: June 06, 2024, 04:14:34 PM
I really was having this question in mind to ask if it will advisable for somebody who want to start up trying doing online investment and chooses trade as perfect for him or her. What will be your advice for such person as a beginner into online Invertement. I want to hear your opinions if it right or wrong despite it risk,so what your opinion or advise .
I think all investments are risky. but for beginners, I believe they should know what they want to invest in. Every beginner must learn first before making their first investment. There is a lot of information that can be obtained to increase your knowledge before investing.

I would say that in any form of investing, until you are sure 100% of what you are doing only then you are allowed to use your hard earned money. If not leverage the use of paper money. Because you can learn the same thing using it. There's no risk for you because early on your real focus should be on learning, and in learning phase you are going to lose a lot. So it's either you control losses with real money or take risk with paper money until you are confident.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Achieving a goal on: June 06, 2024, 04:10:42 PM
If you want to achieve your goal in the industry, you need to exercise patience in your trading because the market price can change at anytime for you not to trade to avoid losses, which are some of the wrong decision that is making people to loss their money.

I'm on the same page with this. Because OP's timeline on his goal is too short for him. He was like asking for 10x from his risk. That could lead you to impatience, and if you hit it so hard just to reach your financial goal then you might find yourself over risking or overleveraging because you want it fast. You want it right away at the end of the day. Take in mind that trading or even on investing it is about patience and keeping the money. Not multiplying fast.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling A Hobby? on: May 31, 2024, 02:09:19 PM
To me I just understand that gambling is a habit that you can develop with time and it’s done to addiction. Well so many people can also see gambling as a hobby because some people is always happy when they are gambling do they don’t gamble with much amount of money, the gamble with some small and they always see it as a fun to them so they don’t feel like gambling is a bad habit. That is just the truth about the whole analysis do my own understanding is how I feel about gambling.

The thing is, as much as you enjoy it and you're not disregarding the life that you have right now then gambling is serving you good. But if you see it, as a fulfillment of life then you're doing it wrong. Just treat it like a hobby. Not a job because it would put you a stress. Not as an addiction because it will take away your life from your family or career. Just play it like how you play your guitar ono your past time. And maybe, you get some jackpot some times or even just penny win. As long as you enjoy it.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A list of lucky casinos in crypto on: May 31, 2024, 02:03:11 PM
I prefer to play in a reputable casino that on a casino that claims they are lucky casino for gamblers because it is false advertising, I remember one scam a casino promoting their platform as a lucky casino and they could not sustain their claim, because they did not bring luck to players.

I also believe this is what real luck looks like too. It is to be able to play with a much reliable online casino as if it is like operating real time. That when you need support, you can easily contact chat support. That's how you can tell if the casino truly cares for their participants. That's how you can see your own luck. Because at the end of the day, gamblers will look back with their experience and if they are satisfied with it, they may probably play with them again after a big win or loss.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reflections on Responsible Gambling. Insights from the Community on: May 31, 2024, 01:35:03 PM
  • Have you become a more financially literate and socially conscious?

Yes! the thing is that if you do this correctly over a long period of time, you won't see this as gambling alone but an opportunity to expand from yourself. However we have different psychology and most people cannot handle the same stress and level of thinking necessary to keep the mentality. You need not only to be carefree of money or have a probabilistic mindset but also the resilience over the tough times.

If you want and edge on this industry, you need to meet new people, those who are more informed or well connected. So you can learn from them too. And you also need to give value back, that's why you also need to learn new things of how money works.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it proper for younger ones to gamble? on: May 26, 2024, 07:09:13 PM
We can't stop younger ones from gambling, adults can gamble but kids should not be allowed to gamble because they do not have the idea to be able to tell between when they are having fun or getting addicted. A kid will keep gambling and lose all the money he has without being able to stop himself but an adult can have the strength to stop when he is not making any progress.
Stopping someone from gambling is almost impossible to do and for those who have not yet reached adulthood, of course it will be very detrimental if they become addicted to gambling because they do not have income that they can use for gambling so they will be more inclined to do things that are detrimental to people.
I would somehow agree onthis because stopping someone from gambling, especially if they’re already inclined towards it can be really challenging. For young people who haven't reached adulthood or right maturity to take it, gambling can be particularly harmful. Without a steady income, they might resort to harmful behaviors to support their habit, which can lead to serious consequences for themselves and others.

On the other hand, adults usually have more control over their gambling habits and access to funds they can afford to lose, though it's still important for them to gamble responsibly. For those who are younger and has more access in online casinos, it’s definitely more beneficial to focus on things that contribute to their personal growth and future. They may prioritize education and other productive activities can set them on a better path. It's crucial to guide them towards positive pursuits rather than letting them get distracted by something as potentially destructive as gambling.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the limits and common sense of bet? on: May 26, 2024, 07:06:18 PM
The most meaningless and embarrassing bet I have made (and I think many of us) was in my childhood. We were playing football and the ball constantly was flying into neighbors yard. Neighbor was so fed up with us asking to return ball that he turned angry. So we played rock-paper-scissors who would be next to ask for a ball. I have lost and I was afraid to ask for a ball. I have decided to get over the fence, but when I was on the half way, the dog came out and I ran away. That is how I have lost my bet and my ball. Later that dog played with my ball and destroyed it.

Oh man, that brings back memories! The most meaningless and embarrassing bet I made was definitely during my childhood too. We were playing football, and our ball kept flying into the neighbor's yard. The neighbor got so fed up with us constantly asking for the ball back that he started getting really angry.

So, in our infinite wisdom, we decided to play rock-paper-scissors to see who would be the next unlucky soul to ask for the ball. Of course, I lost. I was too scared to face the neighbor, so I decided to climb over the fence instead. Halfway over, the neighbor's dog came charging out, and I freaked out and ran away, leaving the ball behind.

Not only did I lose the bet, but the dog ended up playing with the ball and completely destroying it. Talk about a double whammy! What I mean is that you can have any experience in your life and have some betting to have some twist on it. And it's common sense too, but you just need to be responsible of the outcome.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What you think about Casinos rewards? on: May 26, 2024, 07:01:27 PM
Casino rewards are part of the advertisement method and prices are differ. And some deposit before given the rewards or deposit before you can use it. While some once you registered they give you to test the games in the casino website. And the bigger the reward is the more attractive the site also to gamblers. And all the casinos that I have seen the bonuses can't just be withdraw without wagering game. And as you said the features are almost the same.
Absolutely, I always research the casino features before diving in. It’s fascinating how casinos manage to offer similar rewards yet keep things interesting with their unique twists. The welcome bnuses, free spins, and other perks definitely make the experience more enjoyable and can give you a little extra edge when starting out.

From the casino’s perspective, these rewards are a great strategy to attract and retain players. However some are just their marketing gimmicks that their promo has already ended or those features cannot be applied anymore.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does addicted gamblers only lose money all the time on: May 26, 2024, 06:58:36 PM
On this board, we are always referring addiction as a terrible thing but does it mean that those addicted gamblers doesn't win money, are they only bounded to losses upon losses?

Yes and you cannot just hide the facts. Those people who shares their stories are probably already gone through the same problems which the thread wants to discussed and since they want to help, then they are sharing their lessons so that other people will learn from. It could be their experience on how to deal with their family, having conflicts with others, fixed gaming and more.

Gamblers won. They do. The problem is they lose more money that they win. Causing the, to have frustration then they will bet more even they are losing until they gone bankrupt.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in match fixing? on: May 26, 2024, 06:53:37 PM
I think match fixing really existed on if not all maybe some sports worldwide including combat sports. Match fixing is really annoying on our part as a gambler as it could turn against our bets right on the spot. But that will of course decrease teams reputation and other involved parties.
Yes I think we could tell it depending on the game type. It's sad to say that something is rigged and already planned ahead in terms of sports, but as a gambler of the same genre the best thing to do is to adjust. You can chose whether to still bet on it or let it passed and wait for other games. You can chose whether you want to risk or better me preserve the capital that you have. It's an accountability of the gambler and I think that's the beauty of it.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If we lose in gambling, what do we need to do? on: May 26, 2024, 06:49:16 PM
...
Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?
The reality of things as a human being is supposed to be, don't go above your limit, if you find yourself losing money in what you have no absolute control over. Quitting at the moment and re-strategize ones moves will be all good since the person find themselves to be unlucky in the things they thought would be beneficial to.

This is the realest answer I could see. Because if you are losing, then it's the best time to derisk. get off some or half of your original risk because you are not lucky from that day. Since it would take you more time, it will require you patience and the discipline to wait and not just take gambling again randomly and bet a lot wiihtout any analysis for conviction. it's better to get back your money but in a longer time than losing more money faster.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No risk no gain on: May 22, 2024, 03:15:53 AM
This is an eternally true adage in the field of business because if a businessman does not take ricks in the business he will never be able to profit from the business.

However in trading and investing you must not only just mindlessly taking risk but also taking calculated risk depending on the current market situation or sentiment. Your main goal in this market is to win more money than you lose it. Because you cannot avoid losing but you can minimize it. You also have the control to be able to hold in losing position until proven wrong and not be fearful when market is in worse certainty. Yes taking risk is essential. But managing it with the best of your ability is what will set you aside from the rest.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your gambling life could affect your relatives lifes. on: May 22, 2024, 02:52:16 AM
Someone hooked on gambling might seem like they're making crazy choices, borrowing from loan sharks or even stealing. But imagine a powerful urge, like a riptide pulling you towards a dangerous wave. That's what addiction can feel like – overwhelming and hard to resist. It's not just about wanting money; it's about chasing that dopamine rush, the feel-good chemical in your brain that screams "more, more, more!" even when everything crumbles around you.

It is. And that is sad reality, in most times that the gamblers irresponsibility affects the life of the people around them. It is their family getting bothered by loan shark not them. It is their family being threaten by their debts, not them. That's why most family collapse or marriage people getting divorced. Hopefully this type of threads reached the people who needs this to reach their awareness and change something of their life. You are there to gamble and make money. Not to lose your mind and your family. So bet responsibly.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: May 21, 2024, 03:05:51 AM
Gambling can be an enjoyable recreational activity if done responsibly for entertainment, but it is not a wise choice as a primary income source.
I'm agreeing with this. The moment to put in your bet or your capital in a position that you think of would win, you already lost that money. Because you already handed it out for risk. Unless you withdraw it as a win and reflecting in bank account then it's already true. What I mean is that you lose in this game in order to win. So how can you expect this as a primary source of income if you are also constantly losing your money. In gambling it is very random and much more like a game of luck. In fact 95% percent of the participants lose and only 5% wins.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A personal view on: May 21, 2024, 03:00:39 AM
👉behind the mask of loving to gamble if you get rich would you still gamble or never again?

No. If I'm rich enough, I will lessen my exposure into it and instead dedicate my time to my family and my passion. In terms of money, I would put it on a business or a secured asset that would help me generate income to make my ends meet. Because at the end of the day, my reason for gambling is to support my family and when I have the money to do that, I will stop and pursue things I truly want. It's like a target hit and needed to put my aim on another target.
