I was wondering if anyone can give me a pointer.  I have 4 gpus and 2 gridseeds.  I run 2 seperate instances of cgminer for them one for gpus and obviously one for the gridseeds.  I got annoyed about this so I decided to compile cgminer with gridseed and gpu support.  If I run my compiled cgminer without the gridseeds, everything is fine the gpus mine perfectly, or vice versa the gridseeds mine fine on it.  However when I try to have all devices mine through it.  The GPUS get tons of HW errors and the gridseeds mine fine.  I put the same clock settings and everything as I normally would.  Somehow cgminer doesnt like having them all together.  Is there something I need to put in my conf file or is it simply not possible to run the gridseeds and gpus under one instance of cgminer.  Any help is appreciated.

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 with my gridseeds. I compiled cgminer-gc3355 and is mining fine, however anytime I have compiled cgminer whether it be for btc-asics or gpu mining it runs like it's in compact mode, meaning I cant get the nice display to do pool management things like that. All I get is :

 [2014-03-13 19:31:36] Network diff set to 25
[2014-03-13 19:31:36] Stratum from pool 0 detected new block

(5s):723.4K (avg):720.5Kh/s | A:544  R:32  HW:4  WU:5.8/m

Am I compiling it wrong or do I need a switch in my command?   When I use a precompiled version of cgminer it displays normally.  Does anyone have a precompiled  cgminer-gc3355 for Ubuntu 12.04 that they care to share?    Thank you

Sounds like nurses.

Post the output of ./configure in the cgminer directory.  Then end part not all the status lines.

OMG Thank you Im such an idiot. I thought I had all dependencies installed.  I thought I had ncurses installed.  That fixed it. Thanks for the help.

First try at leaserig.net   rented for an hour, hashrate on the pool shows as advertised.

Did show dead a few times but I think that's cause Im using multipool and when it switches coins sometimes it thinks the pool is dead for a brief moment even on my own rig it happens. So thanks azoff

Your FTC pool is pretty lonely. Im throwing a little bit of my almost nonexistant hash at it lol.

Well we have a lot of block finders bonuses left to go and not long now until the competition. Good luck :-)

I know how the PPLNS system works but at your pool it seems it is not working at all...

I've also sent you a support ticket but though I would also post this on the forums, perhaps more people are having the same problem at your pool.

Please look into it and correct is. When it's corrected a PM is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

General mining question I have yet to figure out after about a year of mining.  Is there really any difference in using 1 gpu thread or 2?  My average hashrate turns out the same using 1 or 2 threads, but is there any edge with using one or multiple threads per gpu?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][POOL][PPLNS]New LTC Pool. Stable Enterprise Platform, Monthly Comps on: August 11, 2013, 03:08:44 PM
Hopefully I find one soon. Been forever since the last one lol.  Good work on the pool. Been mining it since before the first block is found and is amazingly stable Smiley  Also guys give dcwsco some positive feedback under his trust feedback reputation or whatever it's called on here if you have had a good experience like have.

I had the same issue. I even tried sending some mnc when it was stuck trying to sync all day long. it still sent out the coins. But all is better now.
