1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v15.0 (Windows/Linux) on: February 13, 2020, 11:21:05 PM
Dear Friends, I need your help.

I have 2 rigs (3 cards + 6 cards) RX 570-580. Before Claymore v15.0 (up to November), it used to work quite stable... I had 75 + 155 MHs.
After the update, it basically stopped working at all... Drivers seem to fall leaving me with 1-2 cards running at 10mhs and consuming 140W (according to afterburner).  I'm using Aug. blockchain drivers.

So... I tried everything I could to make it work... I literally ran out of ideas.  Huh
- I tried different configurations, reducing mc and cc, changing power limits, voltage, etc. kind of tradeoff efficiency for stability.
- I tried to auto-restart the miner (and computer) and run via .exe and bat file. (I even tried restarting pc every 20min or so).
- different drivers didn't work as well...
- I tried changing RAM to 4, 8, 16 GB...
- configuring autoburner so I have ±100 W; stable. (gives around 22mhs per card, which is not much... and still, it crushes.

I set up everything... eave the rig... it works 15 hours in the best case scenario... (usually 2-3 hours) and then ... drivers fall leaving 2 cards 10mhs. then I reinstall drivers, config auto burner and everything repeats. I think I was able to detect the error once before the crash, the red line said: "OpenCL error, -36, cannot write buffer for DAG". I'm not sure if it's related to what happens but this what I was able to see.

At this time it's more like a hobby than earning. I call it 'my little tech club' - I'm trying to make it work because I enjoy when it works stable... I'm not a tech or hardware guy and I learned a lot through the course of these years. But past experience was very disappointing. The rig is not in my house and I can visit it once a week in the best,  I probably spend more money on gas (not counting my time).  Cry

Please give me some ideas about what can I do to make it work stable... maybe with fewer MHS, but stable. I would appreciate any advice on how can I make it work.

Thanks, dear community!

Hello guys!

Thanks a lot to the whole community! I appreciate any question and especially answer.

I have 2 workers, rx 570/580 ,

first worker 6 cards,  second worker 4 cards.

Recently, came back to august blockchain drivers. As usually, difficulties arise after random windows 10 updates...

1st problem. For 1st worker, hashrates goes down... recently my cards gave 29 stable, now it's more like 26-27... - any advises?
2nd problem. for 2nd worker, I'm not able to use msi afterburner. could someone please assist me in pm or here how I can change (set up) core clock and memory clock manually?

after many attempts, i fear to do something wrong.

I'd appreciate any advices. Me myself is a very young noobie with no tech backgrounds. But it's all about learning, right?
Thanks any help in advance. just aim to put maximum from the setup I have, but every time I have around - 5% efficiency and I wish to do something about it.
I tried new drivers (October, november, april) but with them I have 21, 19, or even 16 mh/s while i remember seeing 27 and even 30...

Thank you, kowtow

No idea what went wrong in your system.  Huh

I also have AB working fine too...

That's because you're using the blockchain drivers. The new Crimson relive drivers with the Compute toggle that support the FCU don't work with Afterburner.

I have this situation. any ideas how to make it work (how can i fix afterburn)? I couldn't find any newer atikmdag patcher than 1.4.5. (I also updated windows)

Hello, Guys. I'm asking for help as I got stuck with a problem. I read through the topic and tried many things. but didn't work out.

I have two farms mining ETH+DCR for 6 and 4 cards. The problem with a second farm.

I have 4 RX570 cards, motherboard ASrock z97. WIN 10 It used to give me 100 mh/s stable. However, then miner started to crash with the message:
"NO AMD OPENCL or NVIDIA CUDA GPUs found, exit".

ok... uninstall drivers, update cards with Crimson ReLive beta Blockchain Driver, patch drivers, restart and launch miner again.

The problem arises exactly in 120 minutes again... not 119 or 121, it is exactly two hours before it crashes again. The monitor blinks a couple of time. speed goes to 0, and the end.

I tried to repatch cards via bios (atiflash), played with graphic cards, nothing works. The only thing I noticed that if I launch 3 cards from 4... they work fine for a relatively long time without crashes. Notable, that I tried each of the card, and they seem to be normal.

However, when i start all 4... it works only 120 minute and "NO AMD OPENCL...".

Please, let me know if there are any ideas, I can provide you with more info, whatever you ask.
