1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detetct any scam projects? on: May 19, 2022, 06:28:15 AM
The best is to stay away from new projects, there are still some good altcoins in the first 100 rank that you can invest on, but know generally that altcoins are risky just like luna that was in the first 15 rank that is not in first 100 in just few days. New projects are more risk.

Go to Coinmarketcap and check the contract address of the new project

Follow the developers like on social media, question them and know what the project is all about.

This is one of the most important part, read the white paper, check for plagiarism, if plagiarised, it is a scam.

Even a new project can become pump and dump. New projects are highly risky.

unfortunately this method is not very useful. since the luna problem happened, i think this way is still not good enough to verify a project. experienced team, 100% original whitepaper, strong community, it was all in the luna project, but in the end this project became one of the biggest shit projects in crypto history.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for May on: May 18, 2022, 04:17:13 PM
I still believe the current price does not include the lowest price. when viewed using technical analysis, bitcoin support is at a price of 20000-25000, that means there is still a possibility for bitcoin to go down even lower. so prepare yourselves because this month bitcoin situation is very bad. and on the other hand the luna issue is creating a negative sentiment for the crypto market, I'm afraid this will also impact bitcoin and make it worse.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun creates "the most decentralized Stablecoin" on: May 18, 2022, 02:40:13 PM
The USSD will provide custody services for the $10B worth of highly liquid assets raised from blockchain industry initiators and use them as an early-stage reserve. The TRON DAO will set its basic risk-free interest rate to 30% per annum".

30% per year is quite large, and it is bigger than UST. that's why I started doubting this, since yesterday's UST issue I had a bad view on algorithmic stablecoins. plus Justin Sun's poor track record in the crypto space. made me think twice about trusting USDD. it is possible that what happened to UST will be repeated to USDD.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA's downfall scare away investors from the crypto market? on: May 18, 2022, 07:35:06 AM
Btw, in my opinion, there are some conditions:
1. For professional or old investors
No, this will not scare them, but this will warn them to be more carefully, wisely, and smartly in managing the crypto-investment
2. For people who lost much in LUNA
They are the ones that are very suffering, so some of them may be likely traumatic with crypto.
3. For common people
They will think that crypto is exactly scam, as usual

I agree, for old investors will not scare him. there are even among them who still buy luna at the lowest price and earn big profits. but for those who buy at high prices, it will be a disappointed for a long time. and ordinary people who are new to crypto must think that crypto is an investment with very high risk.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna CEO Taking Lone walk To Luna 2.0 on: May 17, 2022, 10:03:12 AM
poor solution to a problem of this magnitude. do kwon and the entire luna development team should be able to come up with a better solution than this. releasing new coins, is not a good solution. even cz said that new coins will not help in the end the same problem will repeat in the future. I'm also sure when this proposal is passed, and new coins have been distributed. no one will want to hold it.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying the dip? on: May 17, 2022, 04:32:02 AM
Major cryptocurrencies have been on a downfall this past week, as investors lost confidence on Terra (LUNA). Bitcoin, as well as, Ethereum, Cardano, and several other "blue chip" coins are being traded at a discount these days. This could be a huge buying opportunity before prices bounce back to their original levels. If Bitcoin is predicted to reach $100k, then imagine how altcoins will rise in price. Buying the dip might be the best thing you could do right now. If you're into crypto for the long haul, you'll know what I'm talking about.

That said, I'm curious to know if you're buying the dip? If so, I'd like to know which cryptocurrencies do you think are worth the investment for the long term and why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

yes i always do that. but i only buy bitcoins. like yesterday when bitcoin touched 25,000, i bought a lot. and now I've got a pretty big profit. but I have never tried buying dip for altcoins because it is very risky. I don't know where the lower low is for the altcoins because when I thought it was bottoming but in reality the price dropped even lower. That's why I only focus on bitcoin.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible UST recovered ? on: May 14, 2022, 04:39:34 AM
is it possible UST recovered ?

To be able to recover requires a lot of reserve funds. and I don't think the UST team has that. if they had a 1:1 reserve fund in the first place, this crash would not have happened. luna will not fall, and ust can be controlled. but the fact is that terraform labs continues to minting luna to return peg ust.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA be recovered ever? on: May 13, 2022, 11:32:53 AM
LUNA went to ZERO, causing inflation. What is going to happen next? Is there any chance it will rise again in the near future?

won't. Everyone's trust has been lost in this project. I doubt if Luna can come back. it's just a matter of time until all exchanges are delisting luna at the same time, and binance already does. maybe next kucoin, huobi, or gate.io, there is definitely no hope for this project.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Suspend Terra LUNA Coins! on: May 13, 2022, 10:22:20 AM
Binance should have done this sooner, maybe while the price is still around 3-5$. if it was done yesterday there might be a lot of people who
can survive this destruction. but the steps they took were very slow the price had fallen out of control to a terrifying extent. and everyone but futures traders suffer losses.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smart decision I made toward the end of the bull run on: May 13, 2022, 05:45:51 AM
I converted all all my altcoins to btc and eth and solona and stop listen to youtubers.
The youtubers can ruin your life. make your own decision and you will be fine.
This is relevant for me.

from the beginning crypto influencers and media had a vested interest in providing information. therefore often they are shillings and talk too big. following them is the same as getting you one step towards loss. it makes more sense to listen to a friend's advice, than to watch influencers spread information that doesn't make sense.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: May 12, 2022, 06:05:46 AM
Todays current situation for Luna all my works just stop and cant belive whats going on with this scenario!!  Lost too much in my life savings!! Now thinking about invest on btc at least there is no chance like 98% dump at least stable coin looking to more risky!!

what are you going through just like me, i have lost a lot of money in this shit coin. I bought yesterday at the price of 15$, I think by then it was already in the Dip. but the reality is very disappointing, this morning I opened a binance account and was surprised to see the price of luna was under 1$.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna chaos could be a good opportunity on: May 11, 2022, 03:58:09 PM
This is a good time to go out cheap on Luna, yea it has lots of problems presently but buying at 0.77$ and selling at 5$ today is great return, not only that, just because this project has a big issue now doesn't mean its the end, this is not a financial advice but taking risk with just 10$ - 20$ might worth it.

as long as UST has not recovered, it would be very risky to do so. the first one might work, but I doubt there's a second chance. although currently the price of LUNA is starting to fall again, but I'm not sure there will be a pump like before. but if in small quantities, I think there's no harm in trying.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIP LUNA & UST ! Is USDD be same like that.. on: May 11, 2022, 10:52:43 AM
I doubt when UST returns to 1$ there will still be people who want to hold LUNA. investor confidence has completely disappeared, just imagine in less than one day LUNA crashes to 90%. for top-ranked coins, this is absolutely insane. I personally have no interest in this project. even if the price falls below 1$, I won't buy it.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ANC good to invest ? Possible X5 increase again ? on: May 10, 2022, 10:28:06 AM
Hi guys do you think ANC good to invest at 3500 sat you think it can reach 15k sat again ? a

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/ANC_BTC

for now it is impossible, because the market is crashing. but for the future, I think it's still possible as long as this coin is not delisted by binance and other major exchanges. but I don't recommend investing in this altcoin, considering the market is in a bad state. I prefer to hold on to stablecoins or major coins like bitcoin, ethereum, or bnb.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra USD, proved its not a stablecoin on: May 10, 2022, 07:35:44 AM
Terra was a scam project. Do known just emptied the bitcoin wallet as this used to back the UST. Remember that if UST unlike another stable token which fully pegged with dollar but UST was a bit different. This is algoritmic stable token that used different mechanism. That's why the price was dumping so hard. Do known has even sold some of his bitcoin to backed this stable token. It was so garbage as fuck.

UST used to drop more than 40%, shortly after that LFG moved 28k2 bitcoin to binance to support and support UST price but this will cause a massive crash to the market. LFG is using all 3 billion USD of bitcoin accumulated previously to save UST. If it fails, Do known will be the cause of a large market crash like in 2018.

this is like a dilemma for him. if he wants to keep UST that means there will be a huge dump for bitcoins. but if he didn't, Luna, UST, and the whole project under him would lose trust. Currently, Luna has fallen very deep compared to other altcoins. and this is going to get really bad after news of luna's backup wallet moving his bitcoins.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worth investing? on: May 09, 2022, 04:28:43 PM
Does it makes sense to target layer 1 scalable projects with web3 integrated? I know that layer 1 aren't that good anymore or let me say almost dead hype but what about those that want to integrate web 3.0? For example Oasis Network.

layer 1 projects are still pretty good at this point. just look at the top altcoins on average filled by layer 1 projects like ethereum, solana, avalanche, bnb, and polkadot. so investing in a layer 1 network project is still worth it, you don't have to worry about whether it is profitable or not. because basically the demand for layer 1 networks is still quite high at this time. meaning it's still a good investment.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the crypto market heading now on: May 09, 2022, 08:43:45 AM
Question for all altcoin investors

1. Can Ape coin beats doge coin some day? In rank on coinmarketcap
no, because doge is not an easy coin to beat. indeed ape is a good coin, but this coin is too influenced by the hype. That's why I doubt that Ape will still be popular in the future. if this coin no longer has the hype, the price of the ape will surely fall. that's why I doubt that ape can be on the top list of marketcap beating doge.

2. When should we start expecting a better greenish market again?.
after negative news about the world economy began to subside. the crypto, stock or forex markets will surely recover. so just pray this crisis doesn't last long, and the world economic situation improves.

3. Now that we are a ina  bear market will metaverse hype keep going on?.

metaverse is a new concept, so the hype is still pretty big today. maybe one to two years from now the metaverse hype will still be here.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron (TRX) Time is Here ! What about a new ATH on: May 08, 2022, 02:23:46 PM

I haven't seen about this good news that Tron has released a stablecoin, can you provide me proof of this as I have absolutely no idea that Tron has a Stablecoin because in the past there was no such thing. And for Tron itself, I think it is still in a very good category to choose as a future investment.

try reading this
https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2022/05/04/revolution-promised-by-trons-justin-sun-looks-like-clone-of-terras-algorithmic-stablecoin/

there it is explained that justin sun will release a stablecoin, and he claims that this stablecoin is more decentralized than the current stablecoins. the stablecoin itself is named USDD (decentralized USD)
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best coins to buy in bear market on: May 08, 2022, 11:21:14 AM
ethereum, Avalanche, and Polygon could be the best choices. because when a bear market comes only coins with big utility can survive. And of the many coins on the market, the coin with the utility that never goes down is the smart contract network project. just look at 2018, ethereum can survive and recover in no time. all of that because it is supported by good utilities and ecosystems.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Tesla decided to sell its Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2022, 08:20:44 PM
If Tesla or MicroStrategy sells, will we go back to levels below 20K?
no. because even if they sell it, I'm sure they don't want that to happen. when institutional investors sell their assets they have a plan so there is no dump. and vice versa when they want to buy, they will not want to buy at high prices. so if these two giants sell bitcoins, the bitcoin price won't fall very deeply.

does it have an impact? certainly. but the effect is not too bad.
