Thanks for your reply and sorry for posting in the wrong part of the forum!
I found another Data Center that offers 12U where I could store 3 x 4U cases. The electricity they offer is 2x 230V with 16A, meaning that one outlet would support ~3600W.(I know that this is maximum, and you shouldnt do that..) But If I would connect one rig on one outlet and the other two on the other outlet, that would be enough electricity right?
The only thing I still worry about is the heat.. I just asked how much BTU/h they support and still wait for a reply.
I also read that there are some nice cases for servers where jsut the fans need to be replaced to make it fit for GPUs..

What is the "recommended" temperature for a rig? Like, how much temperature can a rig sustain without taking damage? 60°?70°?
Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I though about building 3 mining rigs, 6 GPUS each to mine some ether and wanted to store them in a datacenter instead at home.
Currently I still try to figure out if it pays of, and how many Rigs I could fit into a 1/4 Rack. Does anyone of you have experience with mining in data centers?
The 1/4 Rack would cost me 320€/month with all electricity, bandwith, cooling included.
The 1/4 Rack has 11U. Now Im not sure which case to use best. Do you know a case which would fit in a rack? Optimum would be 3 cases of course.. Otherwise it would not pay of I think.
The next thing I have to figure out is if the Voltage and Ampere is enough to power 3x 1200W Machines...

Thanks for your help!
