Buggy android trinity wallet. Latest version.

Message 1:  Loading seed for the first time (animated logo stops moving after a second).

Message 2: Trinity is not responding.

I click WAIT. Then message again - Trinity is not responding. I click WAIT. I do this about 10 times or more and the result is the same - I have to KILL the app because it does not load.

Sorry I was not specific enough. By desktop wallet I mean the current version of Trinity 1.0. And mobile version is Trinity too which is currently available on Play market. Trinity 1.0 is set to "Automatic node management", but why it cannot select a good node itself? When I try to add any node from this site https://iota.dance/ - I tried to add this node https://nodes.iota.cafe:443, I get a message "Custom node is already listed". However the wallet cannot start and says: "Error fetching account information. Trying again with a different node. Node returned error while fetching your account information", what other node can I add if it does not allow to add any node (because they all already added to the program). When I select "Primary node autoswitching" - "Primaty node:" whatever node I select it always says "Node out of sync". I just thought... does this wallet require correct time on computer? Time on my computer is incorrect (not local time) set. Can this be the reason? Because of incorrect time I have a problem connecting to Binance API, maybe your wallet requires correct time too. If yes, then you need to fix this and allow any time.


Yes wallet version 2.5.7 is old but still works for me unlike new Trinity. It shows correct balance now.

Your wallets are buggy as hell.

Desktop wallet:
Entering my password and getting a message:
Error fetching account information. Trying again with a different node.
Node returned error while fetching your account information.

Android wallet:
Entering my password and the program closes itself.
After I have reinstalled the app - loading the seed for the first time and then it closes.

Version 2.5.7 works but was showing less balance than it is. While wallet is open balance can increase for some time (and few more transfers appear in history) and then it decreases again with disappearing transactions. I clicked attach to tangle several times without result. Then balance was correct during few minutes and became less again, then it became correct again, then lower again. I am afraid to do any transfers while my balance jumps up and down like this.

After I updated Trinity wallet on Android it quits when I start it. I enter password then during a couple of seconds see a screen saying "Loading seed for the first time. Do not minimize or close the app. It may take a while" and then it closes itself. I tried to delete the app and install from market again but the same result - it closes itself. You need to fix it.

Looks like the most reliable version is light wallet 2.5.7

Neither of trinities work for me now. Desktop version always saying it cannot not find my account data and I abandoned it. Mobile version worked till update.

I entered the node https://potato.iotasalad.org:14265 and got this message:

Duplicated node - The custom node is already listed.

Ok, then I found this node in the list clicked Save and got a message: Node out of sync. Change node or try again. I tried few times.

I tried this one too https://peanut.iotasalad.org:14265 with the same result (out of sync).

For most nodes in the list I get a message - Node out of sync. For the rest nodes - Error changing node.

I started today and suddenly android trinity could connect to the network successfully. But desktop trinity - either "Node out of sync" or "Error changing node".
Node on android used - https://mama.iota.family:14267
When trying to select the same node on desktop it says "Node out of sync" and most other nodes (e.g. https://nodes.iota.cafe:443).
When selecting these nodes https://pool.trytes.eu, https://durian.iotasalad.org:14265, https://node.iota-tangle.io:14265 - getting "Error changing node"
message. My desktop version 0.5.0-RC1 (I also tried 0.4.6 before) on Windows 10. Android device is connected to the same wifi internet as desktop pc.

This network is a joke if it works like this that you cannot even start a wallet without problems.

I tried Wallet 2.5.7, it connects and I can see my balance (using the node http://heimelaga.vodka:14265). But I am not sure this wallet is safe for using as it is old.

I tried to reinstall the app (both desktop and android) but the same problem.

I need to mention that while trying to change a node I get this result from most nodes:

There was an error changing node. Try again.


Are there any other wallets available besides trinity? Please give me links.

I have installed trinity for desktop. Initially it worked fine and I got coins from exchange. But on all the next starts I always get the following messages:

Error fetching account info. Trying again with a different node
Node error: Node returned error while fetching your account information.

I tried changing nodes but it either says that node is not synchronized or the same "Node returned error while fetching your account information".

Then I installed android trinity. First few starts it worked without problems. But now during every start I get the same messages:

Error fetching account info. Trying again with a different node
Node error: Node returned error while fetching your account information.

I changed the node a couple of times but it did not help.

How to solve the problem?

I still keep my tokens in ERC20 wallet.

Ахахах)) Я реально смотрю на вещи, а не определяю успешность проекта по верблюдам Кроме универсы держу и другие проекты, включая тезос. Но тезос упускает время и возможности, появляются много новых перспективных проектов и занимают ниши. Неизвестно когда запуск, писали что перенесли с февраля еще на несколько месяцев, не понятна ситуация с геверсом и как ее будут решать. Реализация StarkZ займет около двух лет и даст скорость визы/мк, что не самая высокая скорость в крипте. Cейчас уже выходят проекты которые могут работать со скоростью визы/мк и выше. Макафи к разработке универсы отношения не имеет. Он на ее основе свой койн делать собирается и проведет исо

Как я понимаю они не решили проблему с масштабируемостью и скоростью сети. Какие-нибудь криптокотики легко положат тезос так же как эфир.

Эта ветка так активно растет, как ни зайду по несколько страниц уже написано. А другой российский проект Universa никого не интересует что ли, тема там едва живая.
