1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex = Scam exchange beware. on: November 29, 2017, 02:34:37 AM
I haven't had any issues with Poloniex besides the verification process takes forever.

Thought so too until I got my coins stuck for transaction and since August they have not even replied on support or updated ticket or until you have to contact them they look great but once your coins get some transaction which did not happen to me in the begining.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: November 29, 2017, 02:29:34 AM
Does poloniex even check their support tickets? My ticket number 412523 is from August 2017 and not even once they have replied or bothered to check it or reply. They closed the chat because people would shout there about months old tickets and now there is no way to contact them
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: September 04, 2017, 12:38:13 PM
My last ticket took more than 60 days to resolve ETC deposit issue. Now I am stuck with BTC withdrawal since last 10 days and no response as usual. They do not resolve any issue before 60 days as per my experience. They are earning a lot But no ready to spend anything on support.

My ticket # 279891 created on 27 june for deposit etc problem and still no reply from the support not even saying we will look into this just auto mail responders. This is pathetic and annoying.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: can zec and eth recover to 400? on: July 07, 2017, 09:45:52 AM
hmm do you guys this is the start of a big dump.
 trend is downward for days

The expected price to sattle for ETH is going to be somewhere between .12 and .16 where as for zec it is going to be somewhere between .17 and .21 this is where they will sattle price in USD will be based of BTC price which after a downward trend will go up somewhere between 3000 and 4000 till october this is just my assessment of the situation
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why the Alts go down again and again after a rise? on: July 01, 2017, 08:21:43 PM
Yes, Thats one of the main reasons during normal days. But this detail is intended for newbies who are not familiar with crypto working process and panic to avoid loss and later they regret it. Those who have spent enough time here already know this all Smiley
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the next crash on: July 01, 2017, 06:34:19 PM
I am not optimistic. Last week ETH touched the support 200 USD. I think it will crash for the second time, it's matter of time and whether it will drop under 200 USD or not. And most of the coins will drop accordingly. Take care. What do you think?

I wouldn't touch ETH anytime soon to be honest. Their scaling problems are really concerning. I would look at ETC for a short term speculative move, since ETC does not suffer from the big scaling problem of ETH yet. Maybe UBQ, STRAT and other smart contract platforms are a good buy.

Agreed. The price of any altcoin including ETH will become stable when the price of btc becomes stable they will retain these prices +-10% and this rise and fall is part of the cryptos nothing to worry about or a collapse coming up

My deposit is pending for ETC since last 2 days profile verification since last 7 days and no reply from support except the auto reply. I thought it was a good exchange but now when I need support they do not even bother to reply the tickets thats too bad.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer 5S on: June 27, 2017, 08:42:05 PM
Ok so I was thinking about mining for hobby, cause I have a steady job. I can invest some $$$ no problem. Still I have to find a moderatly cheap setup to mine and to play with the rig Smiley
Still best option would be Gpus you can buy AMD Rx480 for a small start or Nvidia 1080TI for a better start they would save you some good money. If you have a steady job then my advice will be to invest in mining once and increase your rigs monthly for example you decide to spend $100 per month on your mining hardware. make a small rig of 2 Rx480 that board you select should be expendable for upto 6 cards check the specifications of motherboard on how many PCI slots in total it has. Then next month add 2 cards to this rig. Next month add 2 more cards to it. After 3 months buy a new board and start your second rig. But do not touch your earnings in cryptos. By this time next year tell me how much you earned you will have a very good success story of yourself.

Time to buy then?  Grin

Yes, It is. In cryptos it is never too high to buy. Because it is growing and eventually grow further. We see that in fiats we have the governments printing new money causing inflation but in cryptos most of the coins have limited supply being generated on daily basis and the concept of halving keeps their price stable. If you can buy and forget the cryptos you have in stock for 1 year then check exactly at the same date next year and you will see what you have earned is a lot more. That's just one way of making money people have different strategies and they work for them but 1 rule they all have in common Sell on profit only.

Pretty much nailed it, thanks wqqas
Thanks cryptos are back in green now my estimate that most of them will go 10% to 20% higher than when the decline started
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer 5S on: June 27, 2017, 02:36:33 PM
Ok thank you for your help...

so for mining altcoins it is best to setup a GPU miner...

Yes GPU mining is better than any ASICs. For many reasons I had 25 of the Bitmain Antminer S9. And most of them got burnt up even inside the rooms I had them with the room temperature of 20c even before the Return of Investment. After that I am using GPU mining Rigs. There are too many benefits of GPU Rigs instead of the ASICS.

ASICS when the profits are high the manufacturers will build and run in their facilities and since they can repair it does not matter for them the production cost. They are only on sale when the profitability is low. Also the prices are so high that these companies take all the profit you are going to make when they sell the machine.

GPUs on the other hand are available everywhere you can increase the number of GPUs per machine as you earn from the ROI. The initial costs are not so high to take away your profits. All the components of a GPU Rig can be resold or if a single card causes problem you can replace it. Where as in case of ASICS you have to send the machine back and they will charge you the shipping and replacement of parts that becomes too expensive so my advice will be to use GPUs. ASICS are only the wastage of your money. And never get caught in the cloud mining scams. No matter what their sites say and no matter what their testimonials say. They are all paid stuff.

Nop. not at all and may be thats the reason you are getting it so cheap.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer 5S on: June 27, 2017, 12:27:05 PM
If you have free electricity then you can make arround $40/month otherwise it takes 590 watts and your monthly bill will be arround $43 @ $0.1/kWh and you will be in loss.

My suggestion is to pass on and forget this option.

Also this time

http://www.c[Suspicious link removed]m/2017/06/22/ethereum-price-crash-10-cents-gdax-exchange-after-multimillion-dollar-trade.html

This is poor exchange management and infrastructure. People who got the Ethereum @ 10 cents by accident were too quick to exchange in btc not caring about the rate and selling them out @ whatever rate they can get. When they are finished things will be back to normal.

Added to the main article as well.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So who of the original ETH dev team dumped a fuckton of ETH? on: June 27, 2017, 12:12:53 PM
Apparently, the GDAX Ethereum megaflashcrash was due some huge amount that came from the genesis block dumping all at once into the market and triggering this shitshow.

Apparently, the genesis block had 72 million premined coins that was kept between the developers (wtf)

Honestly, how isn't ETH anything but a mess?

i would hate to see all the suicides from the crash of eth. spare yourself and get out now.

eth is nothing but a house of cards with other houses of cards built on top of it.

in other words, eth is a scam which enables other scams. it won't end well...
Calling it scam will not make it scam. Please give so analytical overview for why to quit it? You can read my analysis here. It is just a natural behavior.
