1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: May 29, 2018, 12:13:21 PM
Anyone got a miner that can use the VCU1525 to test? I don't need bitstreams.

What is your proposal for traction?  Between what those of us with our own RTL have posted here, what I know of in private, and what is already in public repos I’m unaware of any algorithms for which there is already code written to run on FPGAs. Actions are being taken to make sure the community has access to various hardware options, at better pricing that’s has previously existed.

Consolidate and release all the code in a repository so we have a starting point.  I don't see much point in keeping the algorithm codes a secret. The masses aren't going to be making bitstreams for their FPGAs anytime soon and you still need a miner for it to work.

I am making a couple of bitsreams targeting the xcvu9p so when my 1525's arrive on Tuesday I can see what the numbers look like.

So far I have the following algorithms in verilog:

skein
blake
cubehash
groestl
keccak
jh
blue midnight wish
cryptonight
fugue
nist5
aes
echo
sha256

... and more

We need more devs to roger up and get something together. I can see why people who are mining with FPGAs are keeping things to themselves but at the same time we need some real traction.

I had to watch a really boring "entertainment" program and used that time to edit the above file into a working C++ program. Echo was never used. Due to the peculiar permutation order Blake and Bmw are always fixed at position 0 and 1 respectively, only the remaining 8 positions change. So using the terminology from the whitefire990's post above timetravel10 requires only 9 reconfigurable blocks assuming that only Groestl requires a double block.

This is very interesting.  I did some math and there is a very decent chance Bitcore would fit in a VU9P (while for sure it fits in a more expensive VU13P).

Any chance you read my PM? I have two VCU-1525's

I own two VCU1525's, I sent the OP a PM.

I'll help confirm the feasibility of this.

so because sigt is so under valued right now you can buy a shit ton of it and swap it and probably make your money back in a month... seeing how one strak is worth 3500 satoshis

Another SIGT scam

sigt had a windows wallet on launch

I been in the telegram discord channel since day one and I haven't had any issues with being a foreigner in Asia.  My discord name is not vrdelta FWIW.

Ok.- Skunk is ready.

0.05 BTC

Who want's it? Pm me.

What is the speed of 1080ti?

I found a block in 17 minutes with 1.4Ghs with mod 7

What cpu do you have in your rigs? Are you running the wallet on a seperate computer in the network?

I have the 4560, previously 3930 and was running the wallet on the same PC but utilizing core 1 & 3 while the miner used 0 & 2.

Would also like to know as well.

looks like it runs fine on my rig with g4560. doesnt like the rig with the g3930 so much. the bat files have intensity set to 47

Edit:

Nothing wrong with nexus sp mod 4. I figured out the issue.

whats the best way to get skminer for nexus working? I am using mod 4 for my 6x 1080Ti's but it quits after a few minutes. I have virtual mem set to 40gb.
