1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What’re the solo mining fees for mining monero and zcash? on: February 25, 2019, 04:10:07 PM
Hi, I’m new to mining and bitcointalk but not to cryptocurrency. I want to know what the fees are for mining XMR and ZEC coniserding doing it myself since bitcoin is no longer profitable thought i could use solar panels or a bike generator and use kenetic electricity to power the miner.

Thank you

In solo-mining is no fees, but probability of mining coin as is ZCoin or Monero will be extremely low (if you will not have equipment in milion of eurs).

If you wanna mine solo, you may realisticly mine only new "shlt"coins, where is probabily of finding extremely high.

BTW using solar energy or bike generator ?! Solar energy paid in like 10 years, firstly focus on mining equipment, after when it will be easy for you (you are total beginner) focus on other things...

Dont focus on solar, dont focus on fees, just mine. Mine is profitable by mining something new or not well spreaded, there is skills. Mining well spreaded coins is only for pros with really pricy equipment (tens or milion of dolars, ASICs etc) as the beginner focus on new coins (few months old) Smiley, ok? You will at least learn something...
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: August 06, 2018, 04:59:48 AM

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080ti Card for Mining - which model is best? on: January 02, 2018, 08:23:27 AM
Im using two Zotac 1080Ti Mini and buying Zotac 1080Ti Amp right now, they have FIVE YEAR WARRANTY!!!

Consider it, they will have higher value, when you resale them...
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Kkmoon 2600w Dual Server PSU ATX on: December 25, 2017, 12:42:40 AM
I will dont trust this, but use a more simplistic way.

I just bought Dell 1100W server power supply and it will rock (as any Dell/HP 750-1200 W PSU).

You just need to have some electro skills...

They are:
1) cheap (30-60 USD) (1/3 of normal supply)
2) made for 24/7
3) high power efficient (around 92% or more =  80 Plus Platinum and better)

Limitation is, that only making 12 V, so you still need "normal" PC PSU to power MB or some other way how to power it...

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: AMD RX 570 ETH+DCR mining speed on: December 19, 2017, 05:40:35 AM
Hi! mmm i think is pretty low.

I have a 570 Strix and with ETH bios mod i got.

ETH 28 MH/s
DCR 800 MH/S -i 30 in dcr

Do u try to flash the bios?

edit: i forgot the clocks

cpu: 1350 mhz
mem: 1950 mhz

I dont tried to flash BIOS, you think on the card or MB?

I will just return the cards, and buy one more Zotec 1080Ti. This will be painless option for me...

Thank you for your opinions.
Mod your bios a Card.
copy strap 1500 to above if you are using 4GB VRAM or 1750 to 2000 if you are using 8GB VRAM. and don't forget use blockchain driver version/ dag epoch fixed driver

Thank you all for your advices, I will return this two cards. More I discovered, they are not stable and hang out randomly whole computer. I just ordered other one Zotac 1080Ti, but thank you so much for all your advices, this was a little experience to the "world" o AMD for me. Big thanks Smiley.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the best wallet for Zcash? on: December 18, 2017, 03:45:23 PM
Hello guys

i am beginner in mining and i start to mine zcash on my 1060's using jaxx as a wallet but i see a lot of warning about it so i looking for the best wallet for zcash which will be more safety

also i can't use hardware wallet .

so any advice and i am very thankful for you .

Im mining ZEC too, used Jaxx as you too, but after rumors just installed official ZEC wallet for Windows and working great as any other wallets (BTC/LTC/etc). Synchronize all blocks and working great, only transactions cost 0,001 for network plus 0,001 for wallet developer. Try it, you will be satisfied.

BTW you will not mine so much with 1060, just buy 1070 or 1070Ti,  Im buying 1080Ti and working just great... With one 1070 I made like a 0,01 per day and half only

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / AMD RX 570 ETH+DCR mining speed on: December 18, 2017, 10:14:27 AM
Nice day guys,

I just bought very cheapely for fun XFX Radeon RX 570 RS Black Edition, 4GB GDDR5
(ussually Im using nvidia Zotacs 1070-1080Ti for ZEC mining).

And testing on this RX 570 Claymore 10.2 dual miner on Win 10 with default clocks:

Getting:
Ethereum: 18,7 MH/s
  518/12  accepted/rejected shares on Nanopool
DCR: 561 MH/s

What you think about it? Its ok, or not? Do you have any advices like:
a) what to mine on this card
b) about accepted/rejected shared

Its only for fun... I just wanna to tryied AMD in my desktop Smiley... My mining rig running different cards, as I described up.

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Owners of zotac gtx 1070 mini , what is your hashrate? on: December 14, 2017, 03:28:11 PM
Using DSTM and getting 490 to 500 sols/s at 100% TDP, +195 core, +650 memory but I usually run my rig at 75% for more efficiency, I get around 455 sols/s on average at 75% TDP

how much / day you earn with Zotac GTX1070 8GB Mini?

You will get around 0,27 ZEC per month for Zotac 1070 Mini running on the default clock/mem/TDP, iz doing right now 440 sol/s in my rig.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Coolbits stay in on: December 04, 2017, 09:35:38 AM
Hi guys,

everytime, when I set Coolbits (for Nvidia tuning) at the /etc/X11/xconf.org it working only to the next restart!

I used:
  1) classic way via add colbits via VIM to Display section
  2) via "sudo nvidia-xconfig --cool-bits=28"

And colbit setting survive in the "xconf.org" only to the next restart, when is everytime "xconf.org" replaced with some other default.

Dont know what to do, I watched almost 20 youtube videos about coolbits, read tens of web pages.

Question:
How you doing to be Coolbits in the "/etc/X11/xconf.org" config permanent?
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Building First Rig: ROI and Resale Value on: December 02, 2017, 10:56:14 PM
ROI is easy to calculate, but changing very fast.

For example I calculate my profit before 2 months for one 1070 card as 45 USD - 20 USD for electricity, but was after month 60 - 20 USD (Bitcoin go up for 30 percent and took other currencies with him).

So you may calculate some "starting" point, and definitely is good to think about revenue, but reality will be different after one month and will variate heavily by tens of percent after several months... Its just my 2c.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Silent cards on: December 02, 2017, 10:47:08 PM
Which cards are "silents" for you?

Im now uzing:
Zotac 1070 Mini
Zotac 1070 Amp
Zotac 1080Ti Mini

And thinking about water cooling (Zotac has some variant for it) for my main room to be quiet.

Which brand did you absolutely like for the silent running.

Im mining in my apartment... and starting to building 19 GPUs rig
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining farms for heating houses? on: December 02, 2017, 10:23:00 PM
I will heat my house fully with cards, Im starting with 2*1070 + 1080ti in one room (its around 650W) and will end first "epizode" with 18 cards in somewhere center of my housw and opened doors (it will have like 4-5kW). Its nice to use electricity to something usefull and only dont waste it or gas...
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU mining motherboards for 2017 on: December 02, 2017, 10:08:48 PM
i am looking for minable motherboards with remotely manageable features outside the O/S, like servers. Does anyone try it yet?

Not yet, but am very interesting.

About topic, Im using now Asus Mining Eypert MB. It cost me like 180 USD in EU and working great. Its for 19 PCIe slots and absolutely loving graphical interface after boot, which showing which card is good/bad and also BIOS. Im using Ubuntu on it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: profitable coins to mine on: November 09, 2017, 06:19:03 PM

Its a app on the Android and also a Windows/Linux app. Really simple way, same as the NiceHash...
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Will sell 135 700 Dogecoins for the Bitcoins on: June 29, 2017, 06:07:43 PM
you can simply go to any exchange that has DOGE/BTC pair and can get btc easily. ex. yobit, poloniex, cryptopia

I've exchanged around 45k doge to btc in yobit. with no issues.

Thanks about advice of the Poloniex... I exchanged all my rest DOGEs and am satisfied now. I lost maybe half, but still am on the 4x more value for what I bought them before 4 years. Thank you all guys. An firstly I tried to use bter before 4 days but wait a long time for ID verification which is still in the progress. Poloniex work flawlesly.

BTW there is a LOT of scammers I got maybe 10 PM which shit like "send me doges i need it to pay rent" or "sent me doges i sent you already bitcoins look to the chain" and other "send me doges or I will report you as scammer" I may only smile. Once this peoples know someone got you, they simply trying to get his own piece of cake too hahaaha Smiley.

Thank you all.

and to SCAMers: dont sent me PMs and go to hell I will not reply, you wasting you fucking doggy anus styled life. Die in hell. Wink
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Will sell 135 700 Dogecoins for the Bitcoins on: June 29, 2017, 02:19:56 PM
Open a thread at scam accusation  section. He will get negative trust in no time, once you provide the required proof of getting scammed.  Sad to see you get scammed. Next time use an escrow before you initiate a trade.

I posted a rating for him, but will not lost more time. Im on holiday and yes lost 200USD but its not all. My time worh more. Thank you for your time.

This only showing, that the Rating showing under nick is for nothing and if is so important to look email change why not to RESET rating with every email change... note for admins.

P. S. I got maybe 10 other PMs to exchange and send DOGEs first. Probably from this same acammer or other ones. Please all who wanna me to send first go to hell... by I will not reply more to peoples who wanna me firstly send DOGEs what you wanna my other DOGEs? Fuck you.

May someone please help me to contact him and send me BTC?

Thank you.

Did you take the effort to look at his trust ratings?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=406535

First alarm: "This user's email address was changed recently."

Second alarm, Seccour who is on my (heavily modified) trust list posted this:
Quote
Possible scammer or hacked account. Use an escrow when dealing with this user.

I hope i'm wrong, but it's possible you sent your DOGE to a hacked account  Undecided (no proof tough, so i could be wrong).

WTF, thank you for all this lines.
Im new to this site so dont kbow what is escrow and rating.
I looked that he have 300 posts and that je has rating under his nick plus 10. Why sorry for this term is not his fucking account locked? He right now sending me PM shits, that his father had a heart attack and this sort of bullshit. And wanna other DOGEs from me.

Why he has no VISIBLE minus rating under his nick and have plus 10. Sorry this is a big problem of this site you cant think newbie will know all this knowledges which are not visible on first look.
