1  Economy / Gambling discussion / How to choose a reliable casino on: Today at 12:14:39 PM
I think this topic can be especially important for beginners who are just starting their gambling journey. The importance lies in the fact that newcomers can often end up on fraudulent sites and most likely face problems with withdrawing funds. To avoid this, I’ll highlight the main aspects you should pay attention when choosing a casino to play in.

Main criteria when choosing a casino:

License from an authoritative regulator.
Although I suspect that very few people think about this when they start playing, the first thing players usually check is reviews. That’s why I’d put reviews as the second most important factor.

Player reviews.
This is probably the first thing we look at when trying out a new casino. Try to find independent platforms with real reviews, look through casino ratings, and pay attention to complaints about payouts, hidden fees, account blocks, etc.

Payouts.
It’s important that the casino clearly states payout timeframes, minimum and maximum limits, as well as available withdrawal methods. And of course, many of us expect crypto to be included in this list.

Game selection.
Beginners often just look for their favorite games, but the more games and reputable providers a casino offers, the more it shows the casino cares about its reputation. The availability of live dealer games is also a strong plus.

Customer support.
At the beginning, it might be difficult to test how good the support is, but at the very least make sure it’s available 24/7. You can also check how quickly they respond, but it’s better not to bother them without reason.

Casinos to avoid (Red Flags):

  • No information about licensing.
  • Hidden or unclear withdrawal conditions.
  • Promises of guaranteed winnings, or very high bonuses with unclear terms.
  • Poor or non-functioning support.

Important before registering:

  • Always read the Terms and Conditions. Even if it looks too long, don’t be lazy, go through all the points.
  • Don’t deposit large amounts right away. Your first deposit should be more of a test.

If experienced players can add to my points, I'd be grateful.
And if you have any experience to share, how do you choose a casino for yourself, you're welcome too!
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Less than 4% of the world owns bitcoin. on: Today at 06:59:07 AM
Despite seeing so much prosperity of Bitcoin, if we talk based on the acceptance of all the people in the world, then only 4% of people have accepted Bitcoin, which is a small part of the total population, so the potential of Bitcoin is very high. Most people still do not know how to use Bitcoin, and most people are still afraid to use it because they are completely ignorant about its use, setting up a wallet and security. However, the situation is gradually improving. People are slowly learning to use Bitcoin. According to the prospects of the future, those who will use Bitcoin now will definitely benefit the most in the coming days.

Within this 4% of users, some places have more users and some places have very little. It can definitely be said that those who are investing in Bitcoin now are also in the early stages.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/solana-price-down-29-2025-liquidity-surge-us-crypto-stockpile

I think the early stages are already behind for Bitcoin. Now that it has surpassed $100k and countries are considering creating their own Bitcoin reserves, this is already the stage of establishment, and those who don’t have Bitcoin now will think it’s already too late because it has become too expensive. And when you tell people that Bitcoin can be bought in parts, it rarely convinces anyone, because in the end they still look at the current price of Bitcoin.

Right now, Bitcoin is becoming an investment asset that has attracted the attention of big players, this is already a completely different level, while retail is now more fascinated by altcoins, because they believe in the altseason. And I think this trend will continue in the future.

3  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Do not have high amount of money on an online device. on: Today at 06:45:36 AM
Scammers constantly find ways to steal coins, and it will be easier for them to do so if you keep them on online devices. I haven’t heard about zero-click, but I remember something similar in attacks on Telegram, if your settings have automatic downloads enabled, that alone is enough for a scammer to send a malicious file.

On an online device, you should only keep the money you’re ready to lose, while everything valuable must be stored in a cold wallet. I think these things are pretty obvious, but despite that, I still read about hacks where people lose hundreds of thousands or even millions because they continue keeping their coins on a laptop, in a wallet that has no protection.

4  Economy / Economics / Re: We work to earn, not to struggle in life. on: September 28, 2025, 07:24:09 PM
In our country, this is the most common tradition or belief. While we're young, we were taught to study hard and finish schooling, and get a stable job. Because once we have already acquired a stable job, we will start earning and improve our lives. And create consistent progress, until we end up getting rich and enjoy the best things in life.

But I don't think we are getting align with it. Instead of working to earn and get rich, why are majority now end up struggling in life? Honestly, what I'm seeing right now is that we work to survive, not to make money and get rich in the process. Could this be the real possibility of life? Or we are just blinded by fantasies in life? Or is it because working alone is never sufficient enough to make riches in life, but we need various investments to achieve success and get wealthy in the long run?

I know different opinions and ideas may arise, but I'll be more willing to read and reflect each of it.
Because that’s how the system works, and it’s designed to make you a compliant element of it. Studying just to get a good job is not the path that will make you rich and successful, unless you become a top manager in some big company, but that’s more of an exception than a rule. To achieve success, you’ll either have to take risks and try to build your own business, or learn how to invest, and in that field you must become really skilled, which is not easy either. But in any case, you’ll need a good education, so the advice to study well is only partially correct. In adult life, you’ll have to make your own decisions about what’s best for you.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: September 28, 2025, 11:57:21 AM

Prior to this fixture, they Real Madrid had one hundred percent winning rate but got subdued by Diego Simeone. That free kick from Julian Alvarez got the manager so emotional.  He want Julian Alvarez to remain in the club for years and also make history with them. Who's to blame for the Real Madrid lose? The manager or the players?! Well, I can't say but watching the partnership between Arda Güler and Kylian Mbappe reminds me of Mesut Ozil and Cristaino Ronaldo. Hopefully Real Madrid goes into the Champions League Competition with high confidence.
After Atletico's lackluster performance in the first few matches, I didn't expect them to beat Real Madrid so convincingly. First and foremost, I'd like to highlight Alvarez's superb performance, which began against Rayo Vallecano and continued against Real Madrid. I think when Guardiola sees this guy playing for Atletico, he feels regret for letting him go. Incidentally, Alvarez was already a very effective player back then, but he spent too much time on the bench and wanted to play more. Today, if Barcelona manage to beat Real Sociedad, they will be able to overtake Real.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 27, 2025, 02:52:26 PM
Amorim as a Manchester United coach continues his unwanted record in the club, 9 wins in 33 Premier League games. I think this record hasn't been held before in the clubs entire history and his making a new one for them now. My country people will sarcastically say, a record is a record, it doesn't matter if it's good or bad, lol. Another three points dropped, well I wasn't even expecting this Manchester United side to beat Brentford at home in the first place.
I don’t understand why they continue to trust Amorim, in my opinion it’s already clear that he is not capable of changing anything at Manchester United. Of course, you can say that Brentford are a home team, but how many more defeats like this should happen before they find a new coach? This is a remarkable trait of the new management, they are very slow in making such decisions and are ready to give another chance to a coach who cannot change anything. Crystal Palace are also leading against Liverpool, this season they are an uncomfortable opponent for Slot.

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do major leagues secretly fix games to beat bettors? on: September 27, 2025, 10:24:15 AM
When small leagues get caught rigging games, they lose credibility, so do you really think it never happens in major leagues?

I’m talking about the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, and global football (soccer) leagues. If you’re not new to sports betting, I’m sure you’ve heard or read speculations that some games might be rigged. But since these are major leagues with billions of dollars at stake, if the industry were to be exposed, it could collapse. That’s why no one big ever gets caught, only players or referees who could just be the fall guys.

So here’s the question, do you believe the league itself could be the mastermind, doing this to beat the betting public? And if this is really happening but can’t be proven, what’s our approach as bettors to still make a profit from it?
I think match-fixing exists because it's become a huge industry and involves huge amounts of money, but I don't think it's that common, otherwise it would be obvious to bettors. Sometimes we see high-profile cases where teams are fined or even relegated to lower divisions when they learn of such incidents. I definitely remember this in Serie A, but I also admit that many cases fly under our radar, where we have no idea about them and can't definitively prove even the slightest suspicion.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 27, 2025, 09:38:48 AM
Despite both Napoli and Juventus having strong matches this weekend, they are still on an unbeaten streak. However I was a little surprised after Juventus, who are still undefeated in all competitions, drew 1-1 against Verona last week. As far as I know despite the difficulties and obstacles within Juventus Football Club this season, the team's permanent manager Tutor is still leading the team relatively well. At the moment Juventus are showing improvement but my idea they need to maintain consistent performances against a difficult team like Atlanta. This match at the Allianz Stadium in Turin will definitely be very exciting because everyone can already see that their attacking center back Gleison Bremer is joining Juventus' starting XI to participate in this spectacular match against Atalanta.
Atalanta are tough opponents in Serie A, but they haven't faced particularly strong opponents yet, and Juventus is that for them today. Incidentally, they played PSG in the Champions League and lost, conceding four goals. Juventus has been playing very well so far and played well against strong opponents, I'm talking about the matches against Inter and Dortmund. Perhaps some fatigue from the busy schedule played a role in the match against Verona, but that draw was truly strange, considering Verona's current attack is weak. The odds for a Juventus victory against Atalanta are 1.98, good enough to warrant a single bet on them.

Solana.

Unexpected events can happen once or twice, I think the result Chelsea ended the match with against Manchester United was an unexpected result and unexpected events do not happen again and again. After losing against Manchester United, Chelsea must have worked on their mistakes and they will play at their best against Benfica. If we consider the strength of the team, then Chelsea will definitely be a lot more cautious than Benfica. Since the team has good players and they are performing well, I will always be in favor of Chelsea winning.
I think Chelsea can win this match by a margin of three goals to one.
I think the result of the match against Manchester United shouldn’t be counted in the overall statistics, because Chelsea received a red card as early as the fifth minute, and obviously, under such circumstances, it was hard to expect a positive outcome. Benfica is not in the best form right now, especially defensively, they concede in every match, so I think Chelsea will score at home. Benfica also plays well in attack, and I think they will be able to score too.
I believe Chelsea won’t lose at home, but I’m not sure if they can beat Benfica. That’s possible, but if it happens, it would be a heavy defeat for Mourinho, and Benfica’s situation in the Champions League would become more complicated.

Agree. This season, Real Madrid has not faced any strong opponents yet. Even in the Champions league, Madrid's opponents were weak. Madrid faced Real Sociedad, but this team is not in good form either. Sociedad cannot be considered strong either. Atletico Madrid is a strong team. But the team has won only two out of 6 matches. We  do not know if Atletico's players will be confident  against Madrid. Anyway , if Atletico Madrid gives full effort, then it will be a big challenge  for Madrid to secure 3 points. This match is also Atletico Madrid's home match. A tough challenge awaits Madrid. The match is going to be held in a few hours.
For Real, this will be a very good test of their strength. Yes, they are playing very well and have won all their games so far, but I agree that they haven’t faced a strong enough opponent to truly see how good they are. Maybe Marseille can be considered a strong opponent, but Marseille also didn’t start this season very well. As for Atletico, it will be a derby, and that’s exactly why this match will be difficult. Atletico is also having a mixed season, with many draws, some losses, and they concede a lot. So I think both teams will score, and Real might win, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends in a draw.

The advantage of the cage has indeed become something that can have a big influence on their guests, and I think we know that, it's just that Napoli have quite a lot of experience and yes now they are unbeaten, I am still hesitant to AC Milan can get a victory easily, and I think the results will be won by Napoli, with a difference of one goal.

I did not see AC Milan's weakness, but from my personal view the victory was quite difficult.
Milan started with a surprising loss to Cremonese, but then they won all their remaining games, and they won their last few more convincingly. Napoli have won all their games so far, which is impressive, but I'd be quick to call them invincible, if only because they lost to City in the Champions League. Yes, that's a different competition and not Serie A, but it shows that Napoli can be beaten. I don't think Milan will lose at home, and I even think they're capable of beating Napoli. Milan's attack has been playing better in recent matches and they haven't conceded in their last four matches.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction without loss of money. on: September 26, 2025, 01:07:30 PM
Generally, it's important to distinguish between gambling addiction with loss of money and gambling addiction without loss of money. People often don't make this distinction, or they make it implicitly, lumping them together. Classic gambling addiction, which brings you close to financial ruin, is more serious and requires much more rigorous therapeutic measures—such as a ban on gambling, a change in activity, a stay in specialized treatment facilities, and so on.
But let's discuss gambling addiction without loss of money. The reason for distinguishing this particular form of gambling addiction is that it's milder and likely treated differently. What do I mean by this? For example, these are the online games that teenagers enjoy playing. They primarily spend a significant amount of time playing them, which leads to difficulties in school or social adaptation. But since the games are generally free, this type of addiction is generally milder, as such a gambling addict typically wastes a significant amount of time unproductively, but has no financial problems overall. What do you think about gambling addiction without losing money? Do you think this type of gambling addiction exists, or is it a far-fetched problem? If so, does it require a fundamentally different treatment?
For teenagers who play games, this isn't a problem because they play because they're under their parents' care, and they don't need money for it, their pocket money covers their needs. Everything changes when they find a girlfriend, and they clearly need more money for that. When their pocket money is insufficient, they'll start thinking about taking a job or a part-time job, leaving them with significantly less time to play. So I don't think it's an addiction worth worrying about.

On the other hand, there could be a gambling addiction without money, where a player plays slots without money (play for fun). They might play for several hours a day just for fun, but they won't lose real money. What do you think about this kind of addiction? How common is it, and should someone be concerned if they're addicted to this type of gaming, spending a lot of time on it, but not losing money?
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2025/2026 on: September 26, 2025, 12:15:05 PM

While no team has a perfect record, I mean, no team has a winning streak. However, I see Liverpool remaining consistent so far, because only consistent teams will win titles. I hope Liverpool will remain consistent, and although they may experience draws and losses, as I said before, nothing lasts forever. Sure, there will be losses and draws, but they will still be at the top of the table, just as we saw with Manchester City in their heyday. Draws and losses were inevitable, but they quickly recovered and maintained their position.

And the difference will be seen when top teams like Liverpool now face teams just below them like Arsenal and Tottenham, and if Liverpool can beat them, they will likely remain at the top of the table because their lead will widen. By the way, don't forget Bournemouth, and I rate Bournemouth like Nottingham Forest last season.
Liverpool will play Cristal Palace this week, and remember that they've been unbeaten since beating Liverpool in the Super Cup final. That means they're a tough opponent who could take points from Liverpool, and then they'll play Chelsea. Even if they drop points, they're currently five points ahead of Arsenal, which should still be enough to remain the league leader.

Most fans and sports journalists felt Chelsea would come blazing this season after winning the FIFA World Club competition. Beating the best club in Europe for the trophy was an indication that they would be a team to beat. But this was not the case. Chelsea has not lived up to expectations, both in the EPL and the UCL.

In five games in the English League, Chelsea have won just two games while they got two points from the other games. I didn't expect the loss against Bayern Munich because the Blues have a good side. Maybe I am still underrating the coaching skills of Vincent Kompany but I thought Chelsea would get at least a point.

Chelsea's next game in the UCL will be against Benfica at Stamford Bridge agaisnt Benfica. Jose Mourinho, a former coach of the club, would be welcomed back to the Bridge. I hope Chelsea will get three points from that game because the race for the trophy has started.
For the match against Bayern, I expected Bayern to beat Chelsea, but I didn’t place any bets on that game because Chelsea can sometimes deliver very strong performances. The next match, the second round of the Champions League, will be between teams that lost their first games, and while Chelsea lost to a strong Bayern, in Benfica’s case it was something unclear. In the opening minutes they were already leading 2-0, but in the end they somehow managed to lose by conceding three goals.

What I can say about Benfica is that for now I’m not sure they can beat Chelsea away, that’s what I think. Chelsea didn’t start this season in the best way, but the team has great potential. Benfica played two matches with Mourinho, and in the second one yesterday they let the win slip in the last minutes, drawing 1-1 with a fairly weak team, so I don’t know what to say. I think Chelsea won’t lose the home match, Benfica are solid enough in defense, so I think they will try not to lose this match. Again, it’s a difficult match that I definitely won’t bet on.
