wow u no what i think u have hit the nail on the head - i remember something very weird happening - around an hour or two prior to sending i was looking at bitcoin wallets etc - and i kept having this error pop up a runtime error something like that - and it mentioned a copy & paste error i just ignored it and took it as nothing important as i use nod32 - malware scanner etc so didn't think i could be infected now this makes perfect sense

any advice on how to remove & thank you so much very annoyed but now makes perfect sense how it happened & it was my own stupid fault

look's like something i did wrong just confused as to how, i had two tabs open - coinbase & blockchain - i clicked on request blockchain & copied the address - i then pasted that into coinbase

and yet this address does not show on any of the lists so how/where i got this address from god no's as only had two tabs open

ahhh well u live and learn thanks everyone for the help Smiley

Wait... The whole situation is very very confusing. I'll try to summarize:

1. You sent bitcoin from coinbase to blockchain
2. You see the bitcoin on 1JqosveT62rZiPKDMZ49AjdqKRjMizSj8F but 1JqosveT62rZiPKDMZ49AjdqKRjMizSj8F isn't a part of your wallet.

Is that roughly the idea? corect me if i'm wrong in any way.

I was wondering - if 1JqosveT62rZiPKDMZ49AjdqKRjMizSj8F was indeed your address, did you send all 5 transactions to that address? AFAIK blockchain.info does not reuse address, so each time an address is used they'll give you a new one by default. So it is very odd. There is a risk that you're infected by some sort of copy-paste virus that replaces whatever address you were copying to the hacker's address. But this address has never been used, so i can't say for sure. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1841658.0 for more info

number 2 is my problem Smiley

i have messaged them prior to starting the topic - the topic was more about timescale and if this wait was normal etc as i am still new to bitcoin i wasn't sure

1JqosveT62rZiPKDMZ49AjdqKRjMizSj8F - was the address yesterday but this seems to change on a daily basis - ie today it's 12RscCFcDX3vLazmpJSBZCjE33gj5s83nT - but it was 100% correct as i always double check

Hi thanks for the reply i received within my coinbase wallet fine but i then sent it on/forwarded it to my blockchain wallet 17 hours and as till now it's still not showing in my blockchain wallet and i wondered if this was ''normal''

maybe i didn't explain it right

purchased some coins from coinbase

i sent these coins to my wallet @ blockchain

these have yet till now not arrived in my blockchain wallet

that's the the thing i am not sure if there is a problem i just assumed as i have done transactions previously this way that never took more then 2/3 hours max if waiting for the money to show in my wallet 17 hours later was ''normal''

How many transactions you did/expected? Only one or both - i did one transaction from - coinbase to my blockchain wallet

Are the values you "withdrew" incorrect - when i go to https://blockchain.info/address/1JqosveT62rZiPKDMZ49AjdqKRjMizSj8F  i can see two transactions listed one for $35.67 (this is the correct one well i paid £31) and i can now see another transaction for $25.45 and am not sure what this actually means

Do the amounts add up correctly (what was in coinbase account = what is now in coinbase account + what is sent + tx fees)? - i purchased the coins within coinbase and sent them to my blockchain wallet afterwards - so my balance was £0 before i purchased the coins and sent them i then sent the £31 7 once sent my balance on coinbase was £0 -

i no doubt have stuffed up the format of the question not even 100% i am in the right section

do i have brought - moved about and spent around $1000 of bitcoins i am still a novice

and so i am stumped as to what is going on

i ordered some bitcoins from my coinbase - i sent that to my blockchain wallet - normally this is pretty easy & quick

but i did this at 4pm yesterday well 4.36'ish and that original transaction currently sits at 94 confirmations - when i looked this morning there now seems to be a whole new transaction listed with 46 confirmations it's going to the same wallet address but for a less amount

i no this is something simple and i am being thick as i am not as ''clued up'' but can someone explain to me what i actually did wrong or whats going on
