1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Many small ants can lift bitcoin exchange rates on: August 06, 2018, 01:33:48 PM
I think metaphor ANTS is a great thing to relate cryptocurrencies. I do support this concept and how it can explain what an individual could do to make crypto successful.

3  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Encouraging People to Stay on: July 25, 2018, 02:49:04 PM
I do also believe that encouraging people to stay is one way of making the market a bit stable and inviting more people not to invest but to know it more first. The fact that value depends on how much bitcoins are distributed, it is very easy to  determine whether people are selling massive amounts or buying at the moment. But surely, it can not be determined accurately but only guess and speculations.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find out best bounties to participate ? on: July 25, 2018, 02:22:34 PM
Bounty campaigns are very risky yet if you happen to be in one of a good project, it will give you good amount of cryptos.
I just think that no one can really tell if a bounty project is good or a dad one. Any campaign could be a scam and I think most campaigns only focus on selling their coins to have enough value.
I guess it is really seldom that there is a project that pushes innovation and convenience.

But in the forum, as an experience, always check the company's background. If all people look very accountable and reliable. There is a complete profile and papers about the project and goals.
There are specific guidelines that somehow will hep you avoid scams that is for sure. So have precautions.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to hold coins in 2018 on: July 25, 2018, 02:12:31 PM
It is not about holding you know. Not everything about cryptocurrencies is just about holding. I think it is about how you use it. I prefer investing in a low price, holding for some time and spend when I needed to spend. Is not it the goal of this technology? Being a mode of payment? I think this is the reason why some people do not believe in cryptos. Because they know that if they will jump in, others will be greedy.
6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Motivates you to Invest in Cryptocurrency? on: July 25, 2018, 02:03:10 PM
I am honestly here for the purpose and use of bitcoins and I am in the promotion of bitcoins as mode of payment in the near future. Invested my time here to follow new trends and news about the legalization. I know that legality is the first step to gain what the approval worldwide.
What motivates me is that I wanted to see how can this be involved in medicine. I am motivated by my curiosity and somehow while waiting, I happen to find a small way to earn and experience this technology.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 25, 2018, 01:34:27 PM
I think hard work plus gambling will just be ending up in frustration. I think if people will gamble, all you will need is knowledge about how it is being played, few experiences and have fun. If you try to gamble for income, I think nothing  would end well.
If I am to be asked, Hard work is meant for jobs that contributes to the society and that hard work will pay off when you get your monthly salary.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: I DON'T CARE IF BTC DECREASES IN PRICE NOW th on: July 25, 2018, 01:04:31 PM
I am sure that many will be panic selling today just for a few gain. I really pity those greedy ones. Well, let them get out of here as early as they can. I do not want them to destroy the market again. Those kind of people do not deserve to be here in the first place. How could bitcoin be a mode of payment in the future if  their only purpose is to gain from it. I think once that they gained more, they will just be withdrawing everything.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Asking stores do they accept bitcoins on: July 25, 2018, 06:29:46 AM
Companies who owns stores should have at least promote signage that they accept bitcoins. I think asking is very inconvenient. Stores should promote easier way of payment. With such experience from costumers, I think it is already a burden. Stores should be the one to provide consumers a easier way of payment.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: rising bitcoin prices, will altcoin drop? on: July 25, 2018, 03:43:56 AM
Prices and values will still depend on how popular it is to users as coins and convenience.
When a coin value rises does not mean some coins will actually be dropping.  The factor affecting this is when a user diverts his coin into bitcoin and an alt then shifts his alts to bitcoins that will contribute to less alts. But in some instances, some alts have different functions that makes it convenient to use even if everyone knows that bitcoin is superior
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How dare ETH to scramble for position with BTC? on: July 25, 2018, 02:46:18 AM
I think that Bitcoins and Ethereum are two different coins. They have their own characteristics and features that makes them convenient to use.
Bitcoin is more on being a currency while Eth is more suitable in mining, trading and other transaction run by smart contracts.
Well I think they could not replace each other because they have their own unique use.
Maybe in altcoins, some may replace other alts but between ats and bitcoin itself, I think it is impossible.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Be greedy when others are fearful... on: July 25, 2018, 02:29:05 AM
I think that mentality would ruin cryptocurrencies. Even if we have control of our finances, greediness of others will take ours and I think that even in crypto, no investments are safe. Values are moving and that gives us no assured amount. I think people see crypto as  game in which if you do not win, you lose.
That saddens me a bit.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: What is going to happen when we reach the 21 Million BTC supply limit? on: July 25, 2018, 02:16:20 AM
When all the 21 million Bitcoins are mined and put into the circulation, prices would proportionally go up and with relationship to the adaption too.
As of now, we know that some countries are still not accepting bitcoins, yet we do not know if  there are people already who holds some cryptos with them. If we would think that they do not have any. There will be a great chance that 50k USD is not the highest price per bitcoin. Everything will be so expensive when every coin is being distributed.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: gambling banksters reason for sustainability of bitcoin waves? on: July 25, 2018, 02:03:38 AM
I think not all users are or even most of the users are gamblers. There are some that just Hodl and work for more. Then social media carries more towards cryptocurrencies and some are starting to invest from time to time.
I think Hodling is the main factor that keeps values stable and Jobs paying in cryptos are somehow influential in increasing the value. Social media can be either helpful or not but it is informative though sometimes not factual.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it too late to invest in bitcoin? Is it a bubble? on: July 25, 2018, 01:45:05 AM
Users and other crypto investors have plenty of time to be involved in cryptocurrencies before it increased to 7k USD. I do not understand why people are waiting for an increase before investing.
But anytime is a good time as long as you find the value fair. But if you are just concerned about gaining profits, just get a job that pays in cryptos. No need to invest that much.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin in Southeast Asia be legal? on: July 24, 2018, 04:36:38 PM
I think it is somehow legal already. It is seems to be considered as scam because of different opinions and perceptions but Banks did not really changed their minds about it.
In the Philippines, Banks and remittances are accepting bitcoins. But no stores available. If there are some, totally not spending that much because acquiring and earning bitcoins is very hard these days. I would spent somehow but for important things only.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At what cost do you think bitcoin will maximize? on: July 24, 2018, 10:15:20 AM
Though prices increased within few days, it is not impossible that it could drop for some time again. People are too greedy now and for sure  they waited for too long for such a event to get few profits from it. I think many will start to withdraw already. Prices already increased almost $2k in this month of July but I think users will be the main factor that would affect it especially today.
18  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ito na ba? Ito na kaya ang simula? Sana nga ito na... on: July 24, 2018, 09:07:43 AM
We should not be that confident about the prices. some greedy people are getting excited too much that they withdraw everything when they knew that prices are gradually increasing. They just can not watch the prices go down again that they are starting to run away with profits. Feel bad for them though. They do not know the main purpose of cryptocurrencies.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The day will surely come Banks soon accept Bitcoin on: July 24, 2018, 05:15:55 AM
I honestly can say that it is possible for every country. Here in the Philippines, Banks are the first ones who accepted bitcoins specifically BSP. Now we can transact through remittances but until now there are limited stores or the stores that actually accepts bitcoins as payment can be counted with fingers only.
I am looking forward for new developments especially including medicine.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is bitcoin doing better than bitcoin cash? on: July 24, 2018, 04:58:07 AM
Bitcoin cash is like any other altcoins around. Bitcoin is superior because it was made first. It is the front liner and I think that if people will be acquainted with cryptocurrencies, they will be knowing about bitcoin first before any altcoiins. I think it was and is still the reason why bitcoins is above other coins even though some coins are more convenient to use like for example Ethereum.
